Not very good at builing houses for a national housebuilder

Persimmons Homes have palmed us off from day one, they have placed bollards in a shared access way from our road even though our deeds say this is not allowed.

Calder grange - dewsbury If you are considering buying a house here then good luck. Just make sure you avoid dealing with liars. You’ll hear one story from a sales advisor (Iyla) another from an incompetent sales manager who is so far up her (holly) and a director who is nothing but dirt (Chris). No professionalism no customer service no wonder they’ve been in news constantly for their dirty tactics. Do your research you’ve been warned. After reading this if you still decide to go ahead with buying a house from these vultures then make sure you have whatever you agree in writing and move forward on your own terms not theirs or you will regret it.

I am homeowner for Barber Court I have reported to Persimmon home customer care the drain block issue on 12th May and Persissiom send over a plumber from DYNO to check what's going on. I have been told by this guy from DYNO that the issue was due to the drain in the main street was blocked and it is not their responsibility to fix it I should contact the seven trent water. and I have been told by seven trent water since this building is less than 8 years I should contact the building company. I have contact Persimmon again and they referred me to contact Remus which is their service company , and I have been told by Remus that they only responsible for the apartment not the main street. I can not believe such a main street drain block issue could cause so much drama and until now, Nobody contact me about the solution and I can not use my toilet and bathroom for 6 days now. I choose to purchase from persimmon because I trust the after-sales service, but Now, I really doubt can persimmon help customers solve the issues rather than throw problems like a ball ??

ATTENTION BUYERS! MY HOUSE IS WORTH £0 ATTENTION BUYERS! MY HOUSE IS WORTH £0 10 days ago I got my house valued at £0 by the bank because of how poorly it has been built. We raised this with them as they have already repaired the bowing of the wall so NSBC will not touch it as it is a failed job! Since entering negotiations Persimmon have been nothing but useless and incompetent and have by far the worst customer relations staff in the world. After escalating our issue to managerial level we were made assurances that were never followed through and having sent 6 emails and made over 15 phone calls in 4 days I haven't had 1 response. This is DAY 1 of my journey and im going to make sure EVERY day I let you all know exactly what persimmon are (or probably 'are not) doing. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Persimmon homes advertise they take part exchange. I have just been called by a representative of Persimmon homes to be told they wont buy my flat because they dont have the funds., if thats true then probably not a good idea to buy one of their houees if they are in financial difficulty. Customer service stinks. They ignore emails and voice mails. Their excuse is that they are very busy. When I viewed one of their show homes the phones were not ringing and I was only person interested in buying one of their homes.

Had a property reserved in Willow Court, Abergavenny. Went to see the Sales Person and upgrade to a larger plot, was told I could not get one of the plots as they had 'someone interested' in it(however they hadn't secured it). So looked at another, signed all the paperwork everything stupidly assumed I would get the same service as someone else... Passed all the checks only to find out they gave the plot to someone else! Lady Sale Advisor there is not to be trusted, I don't know if they're two faced or there is a special hand shake I do not know for anyone to get one of these properties. I have pulled out and told there M.D. this after he made no traction on fixing things. The early bird agreements mean nothing! Take some advise, do not buy from them!

We went to look at houses being built at Cranford Chase Kettering on behalf of our daughter. We were very disturbed to see some houses covered in a white substance. It was very bad. On investigation we read this is caused by a substance leaching out of cheap bricks. It would have to be scrubbed off the bricks. I wonder where I would stand if I booked a plot and put down a deposit, to then be faced with one of these?.

Shocking service! left my garden unlevel and lumpy & tried to level it out with paving slabs, boulders, clay & even rubbish! they left the neighbours manhole on show which is about 1 ft above my property & are saying that it's acceptable & safe I'm 9 months pregnant & the unlevel garden has pushed all the water to my back door which has now ruined my property, my walls & carpets are black! my sons nursery is ruined as the mud just spreads throughout the house as they won't resolve it, their response Is to just stay out not the garden so I'm not allowed in my garden which I pay a mortgage for, to top it off the downstairs toilet has never worked its never flushed the living room door doesn't shut properly & pushes open as the door is too small for the doorframe, cracks all over the property with wonky bricks & walls...after working all my life to buy my own house I am devastated that this is the outcome of my first properly I have purchased they don't care about their faults they expect you to resolve & pay for their mistakes yourself, DO NOT BUY A PERSIMMON PROPERTY YOU WILL JUST REGRET IT!!!!

We moved in to our house 2 years ago. The build of these houses is dire. We have a crack that runs from the top of the kitchen window all the way to the bottom of the upstairs bedroom window.

Awful, After living in a Persimmon built home for two years I can say without a shadow a doubt their customer care is none existent. Like most people we have had snagging issues, understandable for a new home. These issues for the most part were fixed relatively quickly and I have no complaints. Fast forward 6 months we had a few outstanding issues, we reported them to Emma ( Ashford, Repton Park ) we were told this was sorted and to wait for contact from contractors, we waited abs waited and waited, 2 months on we called Emma to say they had not attended, she was very sorry and 2 weeks later they came round and fixed the issues, again no problem from my end, people make mistakes. Fast forward to 4 months ago. We reported several issues. Emma once again told us she would send people out to fix the issues. 4 months later no one has come out to fix any issues. This I can not forgive! To top it off I called this morning at 9am left a message to be called back before 12:00... not a peep. Awful just awful time after time. If I could give zero stars I would.

AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!! Owned my (shoddy built) Persimmon home for over 5 years and still have structural defects. Persimmon homes had been notified when the property was still in warranty and this dates back to 2017 which have still not been resolved. Long story short they have no interest in resolving my issues which I have now had to take legal action. P.S - Dont bother with the NHBC they are just as useless!!!

Absolute scum bags and rotten all the way through like Cancer! Sickening how in a civilised country these pieces of S##t are allowed to operate. The star rating doesn’t work as it stands on one star, that is a huge compliment to this devouring, unscrupulous, racist, money robbing, lying, evil, amateur, xenophobic pieces of pure pond life.

Persimmons can legally scam you out of money with Finishing Touches, the optional extras they encourage you to buy when buying one of their poor quality houses. We bought an optional extra and then they decided to pull out of the contact, not us them. When I requested a refund for what we had bought they refused. They then put the house back on the market with what we had paid for. I have no access to this item and basically I feel like I have been scammed. Apparently Permissions does this trick to many buyers and some even pays £10s of thousands. To be perfectly honest I'm surprised Trading Standards don't get involved because if anyone else took money for goods then refused to deliver it would be fraud. Be warned people, you have no right to redress with these cowboys and are a law unto themselves.

I was attracted by their new homes at Cardea in Peterborough. I visited their sales office and got informations for their sales agent; saw their show homes; everything were still good up to that moment. I shown my intent to reserve my favourite home, but on contrary to my eager, the sales agent told me she is busy at that moment and told me that they have so many available new homes and no need to be hurry. She gave me their solicitor particulars and asked me to get a quote from them first. As I need to leave UK soon and go back to my home country, I made the appointment with the sales agent again, told her my situation and accepted the solicitor's quotation and would like to reserve my home without delay. She had no objection and confirmed my appointment. While I was very happy that I could have my new home soon, she suddenly called me that she didn't think I'd enough time to complete the buying process. They wouldn't accept me to buy their home. I was shocked and told her if I could extend my stay in UK. Her reply was ridiculous and has no sense, she said there was a long queue of persons who want to buy their homes and I was at the end of the queue. So she can let me to buy at that moment. It's really crazy about this company service and don't know why they like to select customer in this way.

It's safe to say, that this is the worst company you will ever have to deal with. Lots of promises that they can't keep, terrible at communicating with the customer during and after purchasing. The build quality is poor and cheap. The customer care team are atrocious. Their broadband is sub par. The list goes on.

Terrible service from persimmon homes throughout the whole buying process. Numerous things were wrong and it was a battle to have anything resolved. 5 years on and part of the roof has come adrift, after 6 weeks of contacting them I was told someone would come and inspect the following day. An email was then sent stating they are having nothing to do with it. Service is poor and workmanship quality is the worst I’ve seen. DO NOT BUY A PERSIMMON HOME.
