I’m disappointedt in the length of time it took to process my claim as well as the payment (which we still have not received)!

Hi Patti, thanks for your time and feedback. Rest assured, we’re continually focused on enhancing efficiency and reducing the time it takes to process claims. Once a claim has completed processing, we send out an Explanation of Benefits via email to the Policyholder. If the Explanation of Benefits shows a reimbursement for the claim, the first page of the Explanation of Benefits advises how the reimbursement will be sent, via claim check or direct deposit. The Explanation of Benefits also advises to allow 5 to 7 days for a claim check to arrive, or if the Policyholder has signed up for direct deposit to allow 5 to 7 days for bank processing time. On future claims, if you’d like to receive updates on your phone regarding the claim status, you can sign up to receive push notifications on our app under the More menu. Expensive for a young dog, but worth it for serious health issues. Easy to submit a claim and they are quick to pay.

The approval process on my claim took way longer than I accepted and then was denied because I didn't have proof of payment for the balance, which meant I had to refile a claim and wait another month....couldn't they just have call my vet to confirm payment was made??

Processing claims takes way too long for reimbursement.

Took 3 weeks for bill to be approved, unsure of my 1st experience with company, even when I sent them all the paperwork I had . Glad this matter was cleared up, and I can finish care for my dog.

Fairly slow to review claims, and tends to be a bit stingy. But reasonably priced, and ultimately I got reimbursement for most of what I expected.

My Parents and sister have pets best and it seems I am the only one who waits forever for reimbursement. I received my letter last week and deposit still has not hit my account. Why does this keep happening with every claim for Waylon.

This means, that the length of time between when you receive your Explanation of Benefits and when you receive payment could be determined by your chosen financial institution. Reimbursement takes a long time. I signed up with Pet’s Best because it was advertised as a 10 day reimbursement rate. Can take up to 45 days. Anything they don’t want to pay is attributed to pre-existing conditions.

Customer service has been fantastic and the time is representative has spent in answering my questions have been phenomenal. The only complaint I have is the time it takes to complete a claim. My past insurance was 3 to 5 days no matter how large the claim was this last claim took over a month that would be my only complaint, as it takes a little time to get funding back.

I did not receive my Paid Claim in 5-7 business days (much longer) and the claim response took much longer than usual.

I was disappointed that your max allowance for necessary annual procedures was so low compared to the costs at my vet. I live in cape cod MA, and through no fault of my own, every thing here is overpriced as a result of the influx of wealthy seasonal vacationers

Each line item on the schedule is the maximum the policy would pay for that line item for your pet in a policy year. Unfortunately, your pet may use up the benefits quickly depending on what your veterinarian charges for their services. I like having insurance for my pets . But the deductible is a bit high for my English Bulldog. I don’t believe I’ll meet the $1000 dollar deductible unless he has a serious accident. He goes for his wellness checks and his vaccines . He had an ear infection was not covered.

Slow to process claims. Takes 30 days or more sometimes. When I enrolled I was promised 10 days maximum. Would like to see payment upfront then be responsible to vet for balance like some of your competitors are doing.

It takes a while before we get reimbursed. We never had issues with ASPCA. Claims are just taking so long.
