“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Complete cowboys! They took my phone and sent no payment. Absolutely disgusting customer service. They do not respond to my emails or phone calls. I have now had an issue with them for over 8 weeks and still no resolution. I have sent them all the evidence required and they still refuse to acknowledge my complaint. Numerous reviews left here have been deleted by them. Damon Mulready their managing director is the biggest waste of time.”

Dear Saima, We sent you evidence that payment was sent to your account and no payment bounced. We have advised you to contact your bank and we are more than happy to speak to them. You have not sent any evidence that you have not received payment, we have sent you a number of emails which you have not responded to with any help but just constant insults. Regards, Phone Convert

“My 16 year old daughter saved up and purchased a phone from this company for £245 but it was glitchy so we sent it back for repair. After a lot of email tooing and froing they said it was still faulty so would do a refund. They said they had processed the refund 10 days ago now but no money has arrived, no refund note from paypal or ebay so that must have been another lie. Customer service is extremely poor and seems mostly to consist of a lot of BS. C'mon guys, you can do better than ripping off my teenage daughter, surely???”

“I have waited over a month, despite numerous attempts to contact the company. An eventual communication from them says the device is locked, despite my doing a hard factory reset prior to boxing the device in its original Packaging! I now have no phone and no money. Disgusting”

Dear Gavin, We have received your negative feedback and we have provided you with a photo and details of the device being locked. First you said the email was not linked to you and then after time found out its your sons email that has locked the device, we have waited for the reply previously with no response and then we have responded immediately when you contacted us. You have left this feedback after confirming that it is locked so this is very confusing and inappropriate. Regards, Phone Convert

Hi, Firstly you were contacted regarding the Samsung S6 you sent being locked via Google. This means the handset cannot be reset not even hard reset without the password. We provided the information and a photo and you constantly said the email was not associated to you and you have never seen it. Then after a week of us contacting google and yourself you then decided it was your sons account. You then could not reset it as your son was away and you did not know the password, so we offered to send it back free of charge with a prepaid bag included for return which you said was a great service. 10 minutes after that response you left this feedback. “Misleading on here my old review put in front of my new review update, just to clarify today 5th April 2017 I have still not received the money for my phone from Phone Convert which they had on the 24th March and which I was told by the owner of this company on the 30th March it would be paid on the 31st, The owner does not respond to emails and the contact number doesn't work as I have stated in my review today this was confirmed by the owner of this company in an email to me on the 30th March do not use this company my situation hasn`t changed I have received no payment from Phone Convert like the other review on this site today from Eve Parrington”

“Update on my last review, still no money received from this company was told by the owner Damon he would resend it last Friday. I have emailed him yesterday and the info email address yesterday no response. It seems when u put a bad review on here he responds so hope he responds to this. Never use this company stick to Mazuma in future they at least give u your money. Final note the phone number given on the website doesn't work Damon told me that so don't bother calling it , to sum up this has been a lesson learned recycling companies who offer u the most are always the worst at giving you the cash avoid this company.”

“Worst company. DO NOT sell your phone to them! First took off £40 off the quote for no reason, then did not pay me for 2 months claiming they had emailed me when they hadn't. Complete crooks.”

Hi, First you sent a phone in that the screen and been removed and not fitted correctly, you then provided the incorrect details and never replied to emails to confirm them. Then once you contacted us your demanded more money due to not being paid even though you provided the wrong details an never responded. You then threatened the company if you did not get more money you would go to the press and leave negative feedback on every site. We have tried to help you but you would not talk to us to resolve this. Regards, Phone Convert

“Terrible company, finally got my phone back after 5 weeks today, their engineers obviously don't know what they are doing, saying the phone was locked to my iCloud account when it wasn't, immediately put a random sim in the phone and it works perfectly, just don't think they wanted to pay the money that was offered to me on the website.Would advise people to avoid the company at all costs.”

We received your handset locked to your iCloud account and asked you to remove it on a number occasions with no success, we sent you photos of the lock screen to confirm. We cannot access or reset an iPhone that is still linked to your account we state this in the letter we send. We sent the handset back free of charge even though this is something out our control and other companies would charge for return postage. We never want to return phones as this is a cost to us both on postage to and from with our prepaid bags. We always want to resolve any issues but unfortunately this cannot always be achieved.
