“Sent my iPad last July and was messed around and ignored! After a lot of emails and letters they said they had lost my iPad and would make payment. Sent me email saying the had made payment. They still haven’t paid me! Absolute disgrace! They have basically stolen my iPad! This company should not be in business 😡😡”

“Sold my phone to these guys , Hermes list the parcel (fair enough not there fault). Phone convert have to claim the money back as they send you the pack out to post. Stopped responding to my emails. This has been going on since 5 Dec 18 and I have ended up Sending my phone and not getting any money as they won’t claim total scam, seeing a solicitor this afternoon this company is a Fraud. Avoid at all costs”

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS - ROBBED ME!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS - They claim never to of received my phone. They supplied the shipping but they fail to respond to repeated requests for shipping info. Basically they robbed me. Stole my phone. They won't reply to emails. Total SHAM and RIP OFF company. DO NOT USE”

“This company has stolen my phone. They claimed it was faulty and offered reduced price which i rejected, i asked for the phone to be returned , which they said they would do that day, after approx 5days i had not received my phone but received an email from them saying the phone was lost by Royal Mail and they would pay the full price into my account that day, 10 days later I have still had no payment and now they do not answer Emails and the phone number on the website does not connect .A truly awful company and reading previous reviews I am not the only person to have there phone stolen by this company .I am now going through the process of Consumer rights and Trading standards. I can only suggest you avoid this company as they are extremely dishonest”

“Please please please do not use this company and send them your phone. You will not receive payment!! I have emailed a guy called "Will" and was promised I would receive payment that day. Still received nothing. There are plenty of reliable company's that you could use and will defiantly be paid. I am now going to report this matter to consumer rights and I will be sending an email to watchdog. As this company are scammers and it needs to be shut down. Please don't end up like me and many others that have been scammed from this company! I can guarantee a 100% you will not receive any money for your phone's.”

“Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!! This site is run by scammers. I sent my phone 3 weeks ago. I emailed them on the 10/12/12 asking when payment will be made, they said later that day. I'm still waiting. If you are reading this review honestly do not send your phone to this company cause I can guarantee you will not get any payment. I will be contacting consumer rights tomorrow cause I can't understand why this site is not took down.”

“Sent a phone to them on the 23/10/18 and had confirmation of delivery via the Hermes website but had to email phoneconvert on 1/11/18 to ask why the device status hadn’t updated to which they replied it had been received. I then didn’t hear anything for nearly 2 weeks so emailed again on the 12/11/18 and got a reply on the 13/11/18 asking if I had received their previous email about removing iCloud lock which I had not received. I checked the iCloud lock via iCloud.com and removed anything which may stop them using the phone. I then waited again until 21/11/18 to ask what was happening and they replied the next day asking if I’d removed from iCloud, I replied I had and I got a message saying they are waiting for it to delete now. I heard nothing for 3 days so emailed saying I need to recieve money today or return my phone my phone and got and email saying that iCloud is a huge issue for them because they ‘cannot access or reset the phone and can be blocked at anytime’ even though they had confirmed they had accessed the phone and were deleting anything on it. I’m still waiting for my phone back and have not had a reply to an email I sent 6/12/18. These guys are clearly scammers, doing the same thing to multiple customers and lying through their teeth. I sent my phone to them thinking it would be quick and convenient but there’s been nothing quick or convenient about any of this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS I entered into a contract with phone convert ltd on 13th October 2018, whereas I sold them a like new iPhone 7 in Excellent condition for £180. This money was to be paid into my bank account. There is no contact number and the one listed is not a real number. no one replies to emails I have received no money from this company. I have chased the MD Damon Mulready who assured me he would send the £180 by BACs. This payment has never been received. I am going around in circles They now claim that Hermes have lost the phone, but cannot provide me with proof of postage or any tracking details or account manager details at Hermes In my opinion this is theft and fraud. The company and MD have been reported to the police, action fraud, trading standards and I am commencing legal proceedings It seems several other customers have had the same issues with non payment and no return of their mobile phones. Total con men, don't use”

“Absolutely disgusted with how I have been treated by this site! They have now had my phone for 4 Weeks. They received my phone on the 25th October at 13:44. The website still shows as "Awaiting Receipt" even though I have sent them the Hermes tracking details and POD! A guy called Will emailed me back and said they would investigate. A week went by and I got no response, so I sent another email with the same information. Will then emailed me back and said they had been "trying to call me to discuss, as the phone was locked to my ICloud account, and they needed me to send over my ICloud account information" NOT ONCE HAD THEY TRIED TO CALL ME!!!!! So that was a lie. I emailed back the same day to say that I had no missed calls from them (the phone number they have for me is correct) and that I completely factory re-set my phone before I sent it back to them, and checked to make sure it worked okay. It wasn't locked to my ICloud account. I also advised I wouldn't provide my personal ICloud account details! I then asked for photographic evidence of what they were seeing on my phone. Another week went by before I got a response to say they would check and come back to me! We are now on the 20/11/2018 and I have had no further response despite sending another 3 emails!!! How can a company treat it's customers like this! WHAT A JOKE! Their telephone number doesn't work, so you can't even call them! I recommend anyone to read these reviews before using this company, as otherwise you will fall into the same trap as the rest of us! FRAUDSTERS!!!”

“This company are clearly fraudulent. Sent my phone over 10 weeks ago and after a LOT of chasing received a cheque for half the amount. The cheque bounced. They still have my phone and I have received no money from them. They do not reply to emails. DO NOT USE DISHONEST FRAUDSTERS”

“Not received payment or any response regarding my phone sale. I have not had an email for 5 weeks since phone convert received my phone. I've emailed and contacted via Facebook also. Nothing. No response what so ever. This website is a scam and any positive reviews should be seen as a scam too. Please avoid this site there are many others like myself.”

“Initially all very straight forward and easy but I sent my mobile at the end of August and although it passed the tests I still haven’t received payment despite chasing it several times. Very disappointed.”

“Sent my phone to them, and over three weeks still no payment despite proof of them receiving my phone. Numerous emails sent to determine what is the hold up but have not have a single reply from them. Do not trust this company, they have my phone and yet I have not received my money. Diabolical company.”
