“Don’t appear to be having a very good experience I sent my phone in agreed the price the payment of a Chuquisaca meant to be sent out according to team and conditions they are sent the same day you agree price and by. 1st class that was in October the 1st on the 9th infilled in an in-line form to say hadn’t received payment was asked to verify address which I did and still haven’t recived cheque a further 6 days later I emailed re patment not arrived and not even had the decency to reply so this company now has my phone and I’m Out of pocket”

Hi, accepted you did not receive the cheque and w requested your bank details so we could transfer payment. This was sent on the 10th with no response. Regards, Phone convert

“Avoid. Have had my phone for over two weeks. Claim to have sent quote to me which I never received. Now no contact at all when asking to resend quote. Still have my phone and no money. Avoid at all costs”

“5 emails sent requesting update on phone not one reply requested payment or return of phone still nothing. Fortunately I work for a legal company so they have advised me to take further action. It's appalling companies can cheat you out of your belongings like this. Very bad experience and an unprofessional company so all beware don't be fooled. I gave all the evidence to go forward and make a case to resolve this matter.”

“I am horrified to see some recent reviews saying phone convert have stolen their phone. I have been trying to get my phone back from them for weeks. They committed to sending it back but haven’t sent it. I keep chasing and they will sometimes reply with a reassuring email which gives you hope but they don’t send the phone. This is scandalous, illegal and the way they communicate to give you a false sense of security is immoral and unkind. Do not use this company!”

“Do not use! Absolute joke of a company! Will Not pay you your money! You will get ignored by will on emails and now I am getting ignored my Damon who is the director on emails! They have no contact number so you can contact them goes to show how much of a coward they are! Keep reporting to trading standards and action fraud! Please stay away from this company They will probs delete this review along with my other ones they have deleted.”

“Sent my phone 1st September and Hermes confirm delivery on the 5th. Phone Convert are yet to contact me. I have sent 2 emails via their contact page and one email direct via their info@ email address. No reply!”

“I sent my phone in June and, despite promises of payment, I'm still awaiting payment. I would advise others to be very wary of dealing with Phone Convert. I am liaising with Trading Standards about what to do next. The one star given is only because there's no option to go lower. Avoid at all costs.”

“I sent two phones to this company a Samsung Galaxy S8 & S9. I received the trade pack very quickly via Royal Mail First Class I then sent them both and they arrived two days later at the company and they confirmed via email they arrived. they started testing on Friday afternoon one one phone and then the other turned up a few days later via Hermes. The testing procedure took a long time and didn't finish until Wednesday, where I then got an email saying there was an issue and I got offered a reduced amount for both phones and I immediately accepted their offers and this was late Wednesday afternoon. then it came to Thursday, when I expected payment to be made but it wasn't just said awaiting payment and and then Thursday late afternoon I got a email saying both payments have been made, so I checked my account as bank transfer should be instant but sometimes takes upto two hours, still I have received no payment for my phone's. I have contacted them numerous times via email and phone calls but I get no responses to anything. I'm hoping I will hear back now !!!”

“I still haven’t received pavement for my phones that I sent and have had no contact from anyone via email or the letter I sent in over 3 months now. Worst company I have ever dealt with in my life!!”

“Do not use!! sent my phone nearly 5 weeks ago I’ve only had payment from them today and that was because I threatened them with trading standards, watchdog and the police for theft of my property. They don’t respond to emails disgusting customer service i will not be using them again. Disgraceful”

“Have had my phone for 4 weeks now and received an email saying 'Payment has been made' Having checked my bank account it was not there. Followed up by email and they stated the bank details on the form were not what was correct. This is false. They have the correct details, just don't want to pay it or have big problems with their systems. Haven't heard back from them in 2 weeks. Proceed with caution in using them or find an alternative.”

“Absolutely disgraceful!!! This is not a company, they are just thieves!! They have now had my 2 phones for 10 weeks and I have still not received payment for them after being told payment has been sent! I have also sent an email 4 weeks ago expressing my dismay in a resolution to this transaction and Phone Convert haven’t even had the decency to reply to my email?!?”

One device was processed quickly but I can see there was an icloud issue with the second which delayed your order. This was not however communicated correctly and I am sorry for this. “Sent phone on 2nd January 2018 which was delivered to Phone Convert (confirmed by Royal Mail). Phone Convert claim they haven't received the phone. Now not responding so going to initiate County Court proceedings. Be careful.”

“The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Would not surprise me if this isn't really a company at all, but one guy (apparently named Will) sat in his bedroom surrounded by phones he has no intention of paying for or posting back to the owners. Am fairly certain the vast majority of the good reviews left on this site are by the company themselves, to combat the ever growing volume of negative reviews. Sent my phone in at the start of December, received a quote for less than initially offered. Queries why quote was lowered but received no reply. Chased them again a couple of weeks later for them ask what my order number was and what the issue was, despite having it on their system. Few back and forth trivial emails. Eventually then said they would send the phone back 2 weeks ago but, alas, I have not received anything. Now February and no money to show, nor phone back in my possession. Have started a small claims court claim because I cannot see them ever willingly returning my phone or sending any money. HIGHLY advise against using this company.”

“No payment received for my iPhone 7 after more than 3 weeks after it was sent. They apparently completed the payment over 10 days ago as I received an email confirming this but no money has entered my account since. I have double checked my bank details and everything is correct so they have blatantly withheld the payment and lied.”

“Do not trade your phone through this company, it is a scam. They have received my phone for over a week, no money has been sent, the number rings out and they do not respond to emails. Do not risk sending your phone over.”

“Very poor communication. They have had my iPhone for 7 days now and still nothing from them. I email them regularly but no response and their voice mailbox is now full. Currently considering my options. I'll give them another 24 hours.”

“You’ve had my phone now 10 days. Last text said a technician would check it and get back in touch. That was 10 days ago and I’ve heard nothing since. I’ve had no reply to an email I sent.”
