“No i am not at all happy with Phones 4u - having up graded my phone - thinking everything will just carry on - ie payments i am now faced with a bill because it was not set up by the phone 4 u rep - even the insurance for the phone wasnt set up either - and trying to get through to customer service centre took 45mins so thats also going to cost me money ----------- my daughter would like a phone now cos she is going to High School but i certainly will not be going to phones 4u - its a joke and i am just going round in circles cos NOBODY will accept responsiblity as whos at fault phones for you are blaming EE and ee ARE BLAMING PHONES 4 u - AND I AM NOW STUCK WITH A BILL FOR OVER £164 which is for ONE MONTH?”

“Wouldn't recommend Phones4u due to the fact that some of the customer service was appalling.....even after I was given cash as a gesture of goodwill. Also there seems to be no customer backup if you upgrade online by going in store if you have a problem.”

Hi Joanne, Thanks for getting in touch and leaving some feedback. I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I can see there was a problem regarding the colour of the handset received and not being able to exchange in store. I'm afraid due to our tills operating on a different system they do not currently have the facility to process exchanges for Web / Telesales customers. “Toby H was a very good help and helped me make my mind up very easy. He gave very good advise and helped a lot of the other staff at the same time. Phones 4 u are a very good company and help people very well and i was very pleased leaving the shop on the day.”

“Waste of time. They try to scam you not just over the phone but in store. It's very hard to trust them and see if your getting a good deal when all they want is the sale so they can just get there comission at the end of the month.”

“Very impressed by delivery arrangments - kept well informed about time of arrival. Happy with what I bought - only problem is that T-Mobile want to charge £17.45 per month for a £16.99 per month contract that I purchased through Phones4U. very annoyed at this because although it's only £12 over a 24 moth contract period it isn't what I agreed to. Apparently it's because prices increased in May 2014 BUT I only purchased my phone in July 2014 i.e. 2 months later so why hadn't the prices been updated on the net. My point is that whilst the difference is small it could have been anything! When I rang T Mobile their systems were down to start with, then I rang again and spoke to someone I assume was based in Indi but who didn't speak very good English so after 15 minutes I was left feeling very frustrated and disappointed - however this is T mobiles fault rather than Phones4U except if the price of the package should have been updated on the Phones4U website?”

“Everything went like clockwork. Delivery in first ten minutes of 1 hour slot. Phone very easy to set up and works like a charm.”

“Never again. Having been given the option to change my delivery time, the delivery company went ahead and delivered at the original time anyway - to a strange man several streets away, who tracked me down and 'delivered' the phone I'd paid you for - opened by him. Just recovering from this horrible experience when it became clear that the £10 airtime I was obliged to pay you for had never been credited to the sim sent. I then called your customer service centre, who insisted upon taking my bank details (which the call handler cheerfully told me he'd find 'easy to remember - very reassuring -not) and said that I would be credited with the £10. Unsurprisingly, I have not been. Dealing with Phones 4 u has been a disaster from start to finish, and I believe I am due compensation of at least £50 for the distress, inconvenience & call costs which this misbegotten order has created. How exactly do you stay in business ?”
