“Purchased first set 20 years ago. Still in perfect condition. Purchased a set of the EXP 90 with the straight bar and the curl bar a few years ago. Recently got a set of the USA Elite with straight bar and curl bar for my son-in-law. I can't say enough good things about the Power Block products. Awesome products across the board. The functionality and quality are excellent. I would highly recommend. P.s. I almost never leave reviews.”

“I needed a replacement weight for my Elite EXP dumbell set but I accidentally purchased a weight for the Elite DB set so it didn't fit correctly. I sent a picture to PowerBlock customer service and they correctly identified that I had the wrong weight and right away they sent me the correct weight free of charge. I didn't even need to send back the old one. Much appreciated, great customer service!”

“I ignored adjustable dumbbells for far too long. After trying a leading brand some years ago, I had an extreme hatred for adjustables. But, after pricing dumbbells, rack and shipping; I had to give adjustables another chance. PowerBlock is 100% the only way to go!!! I have the 90 Elite with Knurled handle. Dude, so perfect! Not just saying this, I actually prefer them to traditional dumbbells. Super sets are much easier with PowerBlocks. And one other thing, everyone online says that there are quicker changing adjustable dumbbells on the market. Wrong! All others require you to return to the rack for adjustment. Not PowerBlocks. I carry the entire stack to where I am working and change load on the fly. Great product!”

“Just upgraded to a new set that goes up to 100#. We used to have the old version that went up to 50#. Love the upgrades that makes the weights fit tighter together and quieter with less jostling while lifting. Also, we love the knurled grip for the heavier weights.”

“I very much like working out with these on the go. The only kind of cumbersome thing is taking out the 5 pound adjustment weights and reinserting them but it's not difficult. I would buy them again. The ordering process was straightforward. I wanted the USA made ones which are only offered on their website. There isn't a huge used market for these and most are priced at almost retail anyway.”

“For the home gym, these adjustable weight dumbbells are the way to go- Particularly if you're cramped for space or just don't want the excess clutter of a full dumbell set. Relatively simple to use and after about a month, I haven't had any issues w/them, other than having to be a little bit careful when using the weight selector insert to make sure that it slots into exactly where you mean to put it- If you aren't paying attention, it is sometimes easy to cross it up between two different weight slots but I guess I imagine that'll happen a little less once I've used them a while longer and get more familiar. A big plus for me was that the particular version that I bought (Elite USA 90) are made in the USA. I also went with the knurled grip version and I'm glad that I did. They feel more like commercial quality weights that you'd find at your local gym, which is a plus. Debated getting the expansion to go up to 70lbs. but for home gym use, 50 is likely going to be good enough for a while since I'm not going to be pushing my limits w/out anyone else around. Only deducted 1 star due to pricing, which seems a little high- Particulary for the expansion packs. Overall, thumbs up and I think these will last a good long while, based upon perceived initial quality.”

“I had the original PB set that couldn't be expanded. They got many years of use but I needed more weght. Upgraded to the PB EXP and couldn't be happier. Have all expansions up to 90lbs and the compact stand is perfect for them. Fits perfectly in my home gym, taking up minimal space. Have recommended them to anyone looking for dumbbells! Escellent warranty as well!”

“So far so good. Exactly what I expected and looking forward to expanding them. Perfect for my home gym and current state. Easy to change 10lb increments. 5lb changes take a bit more with the removal and addition of the cylinder weights, but overall great. Very happy with the purchase. They arrived quickly and ready for use in just a few seconds. I got the knurled grip ones, which are pretty fat, but they provide a nice texture and grip, not sure how the others compare.”
