Hard to get hold of, clearly overworked and although the work did pick up to n acceptable bad standard to finally ensure a sale, my vendors pulled out, leaving me nowhere to go. Following completion I have yet to see a penny of my money and there is no direct route to finance or HR to progress this.

Diabolical!! Had we of known they were involved in our chain we would have walked away from our buyers and said no. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, I unable to work to timelines and ultimately incompetent at doing their jobs. 1 star is too generous, we should be given compensation for having to put up with them and their inability to do anything. DO NOT GO WITH THEM, research and find a decent local lawyer who knows what they are doing. Your essentially going into a call centre with this outfit - assigned to a case handler - this is not what you need when selling a house and in a chain. Be warned!!

1 star is too generous for this company. The stress and frustration having to deal with them is awful. I made the grave mistake of ignoring the 1* reviews and it's my biggest regret this year is choosing to go with PPL which was sold to me via Strike Conveyancing. We had an offer accepted in FEBRUARY 2022, It's now approaching OCTOBER 2022 with no end in sight. I had to sack my solicitor at PPL half way through and hand over the case to a more competent solicitor who has almost saved it. Unfortunately, our buyer is still trapped with PPL. They state that they're looking into our enquiry answers 'urgently' however 2 weeks later they've proven they haven't even opened the email yet. My solicitor went away for 4 weeks, didn't mention it, didn't hand it over to anyone and the whole thing went on pause. Upon her return she told me she's too busy to look at it for another 2 weeks. So that's 6 weeks of absolutely nothing happening. They also had another 8 week delay as the third party enquiries had responded to PPL but they lost the email, PPL didn't chase or think to follow up so we lost a further 2 months due to PPL not realising our third parties had responded long ago. That's literally 3 - 4 months of wasted time due to sheer incompetence of this company. I filed a formal complaint and the response was the pure definition of gaslighting. It's the equivalent of saying 'I'm sorry you feel this way' rather than just simply saying, 'we're sorry we messed up'. Zero responsibility or accountability. This company needs shutting down by trading standards and reporting to the ombudsman. If you want your property chain to fall through, to lose your dream house and to have months and months of stress, frustration, no communication, endless on-hold music, your conveyance never available on the phone then by all means go ahead and choose Premier Property Lawyers.

Terrible conveyancers. The seller of my property is using them - 6 months in and still waiting for enquiry responses with no real explanation why. They clearly ignore both client and estate agents. They will likely make you lose your sale/purchase. They are incompetent and clearly hold estate agent, buyer and seller (including their client) in contempt! Slow, unprofessional, uncaring, oblivious to timelines and mortgage offer deadlines! Strike and Purple Bricks should be investigated for continuously recommending them just to get commission. PPL should be closed down. I don’t how they are still operating - I don’t even understand how they make any money; many seem to sack PPL before completion because they are so bad.

Incompetent fools. Do not use these idiots for any sale or purchase, no matter how hard the likes of Strike, Purple Bricks, any of the so called no fee agents push for them, because they want their cut from PPL! Instruct a proper conveyancing solicitor if you want a smooth sale/purchase and to complete a chain without too much stress!

If you want to give yourself a stroke go with this firm. If you enjoy being stressed, anxious, frustrated and bitterly disappointed, go with this firm. If you want to chase outstanding issues yourself and do 50% of the work, go with this firm. 0/5 for empathy 0/5 for effort 0/5 for reachability 0/5 for accountability 5/5 for procrastination They will crush your dreams with an experience similar to a Taiwanese prison. Listen to all of the recent reviews, you may get lucky with the odd person that wants to see you complete in a reasonable timeframe but you may also loose your sale/purchase after waiting months to over a year. They will find any reason to delay for as long as humanly possible. Formal complaint is being lodged with the ombudsman, I have no idea how they are allowed to continue trading. Always promised management intervention and callbacks but not followed through ABSOLUTELY APPALLING

The are awful. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. They are aware my mortgage offer has an expiry date, yet still do not make any effort to move my case forward. Avoid at all costs!

You should add a zero rating because that's what PPL deserve. they are textbook "conveyancers" ticking everything off on a checklist and if something out of the ordinary comes up they are completely out of their depth and have no clue what to do. They have been holding up my sale to their buyer over one enquiry, which has been answered on numerous occasions already. They are extremely slow at communicating. They won't answer the phone to my solicitor, the estate agent or their own client! We were supposed to complete mid-August but are now looking at the end of September, although they still haven't confirmed that date. They are an absolute joke.

The worst experience selling a property with this company. Communication was minimal and almost impossible to get hold of anyone. It took over a week to get any responses or clarification on what the constant holdups were. I had a cash buyer which are usually very quick sales (roughly 8 weeks) The sale took over 6 months to complete, without any logical reasoning. On the day of completion (FINALLY), we were asked to leave the property by 1pm, so we had movers in from 8am, all packed up and ready to hand over the key by 12am. We then heard that there was a delay as PPL were checking the legitimacy of where the cash buyers' money has come from - AN HOUR BEFORE WE ARE MEANT TO HAND OVER KEYS! This was a complete breach of contract and you are legally not allowed to exchange without the relevant checks being cleared beforehand. They were checking to see if the money was in fact a gift from the buyer's grandfather who had passed away. How is this company legally still operating?? The checks continued until 4:30pm and we had to still get to our new property and collect keys by 6pm (bearing in mind this is a 1.5 hour trip away). There was no apology for THEIR error and lack of checks prior to the exchange. They do not care at all - this company is all about making money and you are just a number to them. My advice is to go with a company that actually cares and provides you with the service that is promised - you will not find that at PPL. They should be audited as there is something VERY shady going on. I also asked to be compensated for the hours that my moving company spent waiting around for us to complete (this came to an additional ÂŁ700), I was told they would compensate ÂŁ180 only and that's it, even though they were in breach of the contract and exchanged without doing proper checks - now I must pay for their errors? Just appalling really!

The phone constantly rings, I have the extension number I have been given, but when I key in the number it tells me it’s the wrong number, an alternative is to press 1 to leave a message, this doesn’t work, the phone just continues to ring. I am awaiting documents to sign, when they didn’t arrive after a week, I was told they would be sent again, after 5 days they are still not here, hence my ringing yet again and yet again no reply after a 25 minute wait. This isn’t good enough!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We sold our house through strike and were recommended PPL but said no. Sadly our buyers said yes and we are now on week 20 of a straightforward house sale with no chain. PPL always have 'enquiries' but will not give us any detail on what these are or how to answer them. Our solicitors isn't much more use but she assures us she has no enquires to answer and has been ready to proceed for 4 weeks. PPL are less than useless and have left us with no internet as we have had 2 move dates agreed to which they did not complete on. We have had to cancel flooring/new beds/new sofas/kitchen fitters for the new house twice already and are living amongst boxes for a 4th week and no end in sight. I have asked to report them to the law society but not sure whether I can as I did not directly hire them. Save yourself the turmoil and do not use PPL - I would go as far as saying do not list your house with Purple Bricks as you will be forced to use PPL!

Reported to watchdog. I accepted an offer in late February 2022, it's now September 2022 - we have an unchained sale both ends and we're still half way through enquiries. My conveyancer went on holiday for a full 4 weeks, no handover. We've lost months of progress due to choosing Premier Property Lawyers We were sold the service through Strike, being promised that we'd complete within 6 - 8 weeks due to dual representation. After sacking PPL I learned that a real solicitors are regulated so that the same firm can't dual represent which I learned PPL aren't actual solicitors, they're conveyancers (Yes, there's a difference). Everybody is undertrained and incompetent. I'm so glad that I sacked PPL - unfortunately the buyer is still with them meaning we still have a really hard time, the buyers solicitor at PPL is asking stupid enquiries - my new solicitor who is a qualified director of 25 years cannot believe the silly enquiries coming through that she's having to answer that a proper solicitor would never ask. PPL staff are rude, I always struggled to get through to them - you get through to factory admin workers who have no idea what's happening on your case. If I can prevent just 1 person from choosing them and going with a proper local solicitor please do, save your stress, anxiety and future dream property. If you chose PPL they will definitely cause you to lose the property. We're now about to lose our onwards purchase due to PPL being incredibly slow and incompetent. Not only did we lose 4 weeks due to my solicitor being on holiday and not handing anything over, they wasted a further 2 months after sending one email out for enquiries and never following them up. They never chased or told me so the whole case has effectively not moved for almost 3 months of me waiting full of stress trying to get this over the line. My new solicitor outside of PPL has been great - they've done more in 4 weeks than PPL managed to do in 7 months. We're now trying to get this unchained property over the line with no help from PPL at all. Reported them to watchdog and the ombudsman - I cannot believe this company are operating.

Dreadful service. Lose documents. Rude on the phone to you. Insisting on indemnity policies that we don’t need and threatening to tell our lenders if we don’t take them out. Shame on you Preya Mistry

Premier property are acting for the people purchasing my house. All I have to say is Gemma Hoyle is the most useless human being on the planet. If you do want to use this company, make sure you request anyone but her if things like competence and communication are important to you. She has held everything up for weeks unnecessarily as paperwork is done and she doesn’t seem capable of sending a simple email to our solicitors to confirm. Perhaps she should consider a new line of work where she doesn’t have direct influence on peoples lives.

The service my husband and I have received from PPL has been shocking . We sold a flat 7 months ago to a cash buyer, no chain and still not completed . Our conveyancer never acknowledges our emails , very rarely answers calls and there is a total lack of communication. We are repeatedly asked for information we have already given and the whole service has been absolutely appalling . I’m not convinced the conveyancers are even properly qualified. They are not worthy of 1 star and my message is avoid them at all costs or use them at your peril !!!
