“Wonderful sweater, the perfect weight for a Spring mountainous climate. Cotton is soft and truly luxurious. Generous in sizing, the measurements in the guide are true.”

“Great color and quality. It was rather loose and boxy in the torso and hip area so not great for my body type. If you don’t mind a loose fit through the torso, you will love this sweater!”

“The cashmere sweater was all out of proportion, possibly skimping on materials was why. I sent it back but it cost me $$ to do so from overseas and the refund was substantially less because they take off various charges. They never acknowledged receipt of the return nor did they advise of the refund. All in all a very costly exercise and one I will never repeat. Lots of positive marketing but little substance in their actual service- very disappointing.”

“We gave the Pura Cashmere travel wrap as a retirement gift to a colleague. She absolutely loves it. The quality is excellent, as is the workmanship. Have just ordered another for another retiring colleague! I think this will be a self-gift in the future too. So pleased!”

“Love PC!!!! I started replacing my old sweaters with cashmere and found that Pura not only has the quality, colors and styles I like, but has a price point that makes adding additional items way too easy!!! My two daughters have now been asking for Pura for Christmas and birthday gifts. That’s speakers volumes!”

“I very very seldom order clothing online: however the sweaters I saw on the Pura website looked beautiful, simple and elegant. I took a chance and ordered. To make a long story longer! I have ordered 4 sweaters from them in the past 3 months and have been delighted with each one. They are soft, elegant and well made. The thing that truly sets Pura apart from any other company I’ve dealt with? Their customer service. The best I’ve ever encountered. Quick, helpful, one on one service - I will be ordering more from them. Looking forward to the cotton knits for spring and summer too.”

“I have two cotton fisherman’s sweaters and a cashmere fisherman sweater and LOVE them all! The cotton is a size medium but I exchanged for a large in the cashmere. Can’t wait to add another cashmere to my collection! Highly recommend!”

“First time customer. I returned 1 item and exchanging 1 for a smaller size. If this all goes well I would highly reccomend Pura. Tho I do feel the quality of the Cashmere is not great if you purchase items in darker colors or have a design in the cashmere then the price for the quality is fine.”

“My wife ordered 3 of the exact same items within 30 minutes of each order due to a memory disorder. Tried to return all 3 items without a restocking fee on the basis of this situation and Customer Service essentially said, "too bad", and gave me no relief due to her disease and charged me a restocking fee of $43.50 to send back these items. Total lack of empathy for our unfortunate situation, especially during this holiday season and when the website proclaims Free Returns--well it's not Free Returns if they charge a restocking fee of $14.50 per item. Shame on Pura Cashmere for having no heart, especially when its website spouts all kinds of words from its founders doing the right thing for the environment as well as charities they support involving hungry children--what about doing the right thing for a disease inflicting more than 6 million American today--show some compassion for these people--SHAME ON Maria K, the founder and Owner. Don't buy from these folks--too many other, high quality women's clothing on line stores who show compassion and empathy to its buyers. STAY AWAY from PURA CASHMERE.”

We understand your frustration, however this is not the first time she has done this. In October of this year she made several purchases which we went out of our way to intercept and cancel and we ate the cost of those orders because someone reached out to us and told us the circumstances. A chargeback was opened on that order as well which cost us an additional fee which we absorbed without complaint. This is the second time this has happened for a total of 9 orders. This completely separate incident shipped. We have lost 100's of dollars in shipping and return shipping. To say we don't empathize with your situation is disingenuous at best. We are still eating the shipping to and from your home as we have multiple times in the past. We are just not waiving our restocking fee on 3 items this time. We truly do understand the situation and we are taking additional steps. We are creating a script that will flag any order from her and automatically cancel it. However, it will still cost us credit card processing fees, which we will have to eat because there is no other way for us to stop her. I am assuming other vendors are incurring similar costs and I wouldn't presume to know your pain but I suggest you please take steps on your end to prevent this from happening again for everyone's sake. “I love the sweaters I have purchased this year however this particular sweater seems very thin. It appeared much thicker on the model. I was purchasing it for my daughter-in-law. I wish to return this one. Thank you Sheri Burlingame”

Hi Sheri, Thank you for your feedback! This particular sweater is designed with a lighter gauge so it can be worn comfortably in the late spring and even into the summer. A more substantial alternative (much heavier) is our zip up cardigan.
