“Electronic component quailty is good with competative pricing. I'll certainly use this company again. My only comment is that my most recent purchase using free delivery arrived one week after I placed the order and the box looked as though it had been in a tumble dryer for most of that time. - Nothing broken though...Good packing Rapid.”

“Although my company in the EU with registered VAT number, I had to pay the UK. VAT. I talked to someone, who said there is a possibility to save it, but I did not find it, at all. :( Anyway, we need to get used to this, UK, will go out from the EU.”

“Good site, item dispatched quickly. . with difference in currency comes out a bit pricy. Should shold in Euro as well. Heck that might be the least problem in the future if tariffs etc come into force. Unfortunatley the saying ' No man is an island is no longer true.”

“Rapid offer polite customer service, and as the name suggests, are pretty rapid. Slightly better prices than some competitors. They could do with adding some wiring diagrams for some non electronics types like my self, for example for there Red/Green vandle proof push buttons, or at least a better explenation of the function to aid purchases. Overall a happy customer.”

“Rapid have a wide range of competitively priced components, tools and hardware. Provided you know what you want, everything goes well. Their technical advice is awful, so don't ask for help with choosing parts for a particular application. Stock levels are generally good. Most are ex stock from the Colchester office. Certain items (mainly automotive related) are a couple of days from other UK warehouses. Other parts tend to be about a week from Conrad Germany.”

“I bought a rotary tool (Anvil AV-RT119 Variable Speed Rotary Tool - £20.000) unfortunately it lasted 10 minutes before it committed suicide. The chuck loosened and the bit came out with such force that it bent the bit into an L shape and also bent the chuck, making the tool unusable. I know it was only a cheap tool, but this made for a very expensive 10 minutes. Having said that, I have always found Rapid to be a completely reliable retailer who always send out orders very quickly.”

“Only criticism is that 1st order had to be delivered to Billing Address "for security reasons", which meant I missed the delivery and had to take time off work next day to accept delivery (tracking system very good!). For PayPal payments I think this is unnecessary since PayPal has already verified Billing/Delivery addresses. Apart from that, very good service!”

“This is the 1st time I have had to wait for one item shown "in stcock" on backorder. Main order delivered in 2 day's as usual. Fantastick stock they have items that no one else have. Also the news emails are always interesting and informative. Phil Jones”

“My only recent complaint is that you have discontinued a very good product and substituted it with a piece of rubbish from Rolson: 86-0609. It was back ordered for a while and I ordered 4 no. of these, but the product which now arrives is horrible- I have cancelled the balance of the order. When I mentioned this to Sales they suggested 93-3444 instead, but this is not the same thing at all- just a voltage tester.”

“The range of products on the website is comprehensive. Ordering is straightforward and delivery is often within a day of ordering. I have also found them to be responsive when enquiring about an item which wasn't listed. It was added to their inventory quite quickly.”

“I only buy in small quantities as a hobby user. I don't like the free postage on purchases over £20 condition. I would rather pay a bit extra per item to get free postage on all orders. RS now do this and I am now buying more from them.”
