“I was very happy with how quick my order came but wish you had answered your telephone, because when I rang it would say we know you are waiting some will answer you shortly then the phone would go dead.”

“Nice company to deal with (especially as their trade counter is local to me). Pity many items not kept in stock. Also the website could do with better searching facilities particularly for things like mains transformers. The paper catalogue is getting very out of date now (Jan 2015) but is still the only reliable way of finding components, then you have to use the website to see if they are current and in stock.”

“Only thing i will say is that when you place an order it always says in stock for same day despatch but does not let you know that it could take anything upto 3-5 working days to receive the goods without paying the additional carriage.”

“Easy to order on-line, instant feedback on availability, quick turn-around, good prices, plenty of range. Search engine sometimes frustrating with irrelevant results, and when you do find something relevant the location in the website is not indicated.”

“Can't fault the goods supplied, all were as described and fulfilled our requirements. The only downside of this order was the delay in delivery - arrived 1 day later than expected, though this looks like a courier matter as the package appears to have sat with them for over 24 hours.”

“On-line shopping experience was good. Surprised to receive double number of item ordered in 2 separate packages, one in a box and one in a bubble wrap envelope, very quickly on the same day. Going on line to check order saw 1 x of socket ordered on two separate lines but cost only added up to one unit. Call to customer service desk was told to accept one of the FOC with their compliments and they would check out the problem. Thanks for the free one.”

“I first started to buy components from Rapid on the 10/10/14 and have absolutely no complaints to make of the quality of component, but one thing stands out for me and that is the delivery. I find that the delivery is first class to me in the North of Scotland. Any queries I have had have also been sorted out on the phone very quickly. As regards the fifth star, I will keep this for a further review at a later date.”

“Good product range, good prices, poor website: can't search for transformers by voltage and power ratings, only weight and price can't search for potentiometers by resistance value etc.”

“I only ordered a small amount, but it arrived quickly and was well packaged. Items appear to be of acceptable quality considering I bought the "Budget" items. Whilst the P&P was "reasonable" It does rankle somewhat that they charge what they do and then if is a light item they bung in loads of unwanted marketing bumf. Perhaps the P&P could have been less without that extra weight.”
