“Rapid is my first choice for electrlnic components and lab gear. I am however finding myself being frustrated increasingly be items being out of stock and being available in a month or two thereby having to go on back order. In the event the deadline is often missed anyway.”

“Rapid really do deliver the goods rapidly. I usually take delivery of my orders within two days, sometimes the next day. The range of electronic components at Rapid is now much wider than that of my old supplier (Maplin) who unfortunately seem to have changed direction, away from hobby electronics and education.”

“Rapid dispatched same day as ordered,unfortunately UKMAIL the carrier didn't deliver until the 4th day from ordering despite it being at the UKMAIL's delivery depot the morning after dispatch at 0415.To be fair when I called Rapidon the 3rd day they contacted UKMAIL and Rapid called me back to let me know they had contacted them.I have used Rapid many times and everything has been usually delivered next day.Its unfortunate UKMAIL let them down. “Clear website and easy purchasing system. Amazed at speed of delivery - they were nearly dispatched before I hit the button!! Liked the price on the folders too. Needed for horticultural courses so mucky hands all round, hence reason for strong plastic covers. Will be using Rapid in the future.”

“I would have given five stars for the products and the service. The one problem I have is with the restrictive delivery service for new customers. I am never at home during postal hours and the courier had already tried to deliver the parcel before I could get online to delay delivery. I went online and looked at the options for neighbour delivery but there was no way of adding text so I went back out of that screen to change the delivery date. I got home to find that they had already tried delivering it again and had left it with a neighbour as I wasn't in. I don't actually know my neighbours - students - but fortunately they were very nice and had taken care of the items for me but it is inconvenient having this restriction. I could have given you a history of hundreds of purchases from Amazon and other retailers on line to to show I was genuine. I only came to your store because the items I wanted to purchase were actually cheaper than on amazon but the delivery policy for nebies could deter some people from buying.”

“Rapid provided a quick service. Pity the UK Mail driver let the side down. My recycling box was upended in my front garden, breaking a couple of bottles. so he could cover my order on my doorstep where it could be seen by all and sundry. He did leave a card though, which after removing recycling box and picking up my item, before I could open the door, I discovered.”
