“Pros: Good service and technical support (chat). Prices Portfolio and stock Cons: Post & Packing prices too high. Maplin offers free P&P over 10GBP, Rapid over 30 GPB... they beat you! No possible to add items to order even if there are issue out of stock waiting to be sent...does it makes sense? NO!! Summary: Good place if you are to order a lot of things (which is not the usual case). Not a good place for low volume customers.”

“could do with being a bit more transparent on costs. A lot added to the end. Legitimate costs though. Overal level of service was good. Could do with using a courier with better access to a non delivery, we had to wait till the following monday to get an item ordered on thurs and attempted to be delivered on Friday. There were no options but to wait till Monday. It was delivered though. would use you again if I cant find what I want cheeper elsewhere.”

“This particular order was a part shipment due to shortage of stock, I was charged for the whole order and have had no indication of expected delivery of the remainder of the order. This is in stark contrast to Farnell which would have charged me only for what was shipped and would have provided a statement of expected delivery for the remaining parts.”

“Although the items were despatched quickly and on time, they didnt have enough protective packaging and the items were broken on arrival. A replacement was sent straight away though”

“Service is excellent. One small problem with a faulty component was resolved very quickly with minimal fuss. Overall very good. The negatives were: 1: One item listed as in stock wasn't 2: Why so many plastic bags? I have a big pile of them. Surely most are completely unnecessary and not environmentally friendly.”

“Would have been very good if your web site had explained that the parts we needed had to be purchased separately. Looking at the web site it implied that all the parts would be sent. However, you were very helpful in supplying the extra parts that we needed, Thank you”

“Over many years of buying from Rapid Electronics I have never had cause to complain, the goods were as ordered and the accounts correct. I am sometimes dissapointed to find the bit I would like to use, is on delayed or back order. however that makes me search for an alternative item that can be educational and turns out to be OK for my project Thank you for the sevice you provide”
