“'ONE STAR TOO MANY' When I took out cover to be protected, I am left very frustrated after 2 months waiting for my claim to be settled. I have provided everything you need to know regarding my hire therefore should have already been settled. ONE STEP AWAY FROM TAKING FURTHER ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPANY! Definitely would not recommend this company if you want efficiency & security!”

“I have I claim, that I created 7.09.2022. On Rentalcover website you can send information, that they solve claims in 7 days. I still do not get any reply. My booking reference is 278Y-KP8P-INS”

“When traveling in Italy to find my wife's ancestral origins, I had an accident after going down a small road where I scraped one side of the car. After trying to send in my claim information twice with no response from the company, I had to start a chat after three months to find out the case was closed. They deemed it was my fault and no reimbursement was coming. Nowhere in the terms does it say someone else must have caused the damage. If that is true, this is not full coverage. I paid and got nothing!”

“Have booked a rental car through Check24, selecting the full coverage with reimbursement of the deductible. Shortly after receiving the booking and a separate confirmation of insurance coverage by Rentalcover itself, which seemed strange to me, I then received another mail from Rentalcover that the insurance was canceled, without giving any reasons. Shortly thereafter, I was offered, again by mail from Rentalcover a new insurance, however, about 25% more expensive. Is this called a business model or fraud?”

“We had a Really Bad experience with them. How are car got pushed to side of the road while parking. We had all the evidence of what happened there, we rpvided all the needed documents, pictures and videos. And they decided by themselves that they are nor compensating us, without giving any reasons or explanations. They were continually ignoring their part of the terms of agreement and tried to exhaust us during the claim for at least 2 months.”

“Be very careful , with the company rental cover. My application numbers are 40K1-LIPINS and WMV-3044-IS This is a fraudulent organization. I used her services twice. The first time they didn't want to pay insurance, they pretended that they couldn't transfer money to my card. I had to appeal to the Consumer Protection Society with a complaint in France. After that, rental cover immediately transferred the money. There was a second insurance case. They considered the application for two months, I provided them with all the documents. But they constantly pretended that they were missing something from the documents. As a result, the same situation AGAIN, they said they could not pay my insurance. Here's what they told me: "We understand that this may not be the result you expected. " You draw conclusions yourself, I will file a complaint against rental cover again. I do not recommend this insurance company.”

“Very poor service. Requested a cancellation via email as I couldn’t do it online, received no response up to now. Absolutely appalled. As I didn’t even need the insurance because the car rental was going to take hold of 2000 euros if I didn’t have the insurance with them & to top it off Hertz full protection was cheaper! So I’ve now paid double insurance. Ridiculous!”

“Beware this company is a scam, i hired a car in New Zealand and unfortunately a truck threw up a stone cracking the windscreen, when i approached the rental car company they told me they did not recognise Rentalcover .com as an insurance company and then asked for $2500 excess as i had no insurance with them, ended up replacing the windscreen at my cost, i can see from emails received i am wasting my time trying to get this cost refunded Keep Clear Folks”

“So many negative reviews must be interpreted as a giant RED FLAG. They are simply con artists. Do NOT trust or use any services offered by rentalcover. I wish I had the sense to go into this page before purchasing the "full coverage" scam they sold me. Do not throw away your money, they will disown you and make everything they can to avoid reimbursements”

“Don't use Rentalcover.com, they are a scam. I made a booking through Rentalcars.com, and subsequently cancelled. However, was still charged $120 from Rentalcover.com within minutes of the booking, despite cancelling. Rentalcars.com say you need to contact Rentalcover.com. Of course you cannot contact them other than via online email and they don't answer your question but send you some badly worded automated message and direct you back to Rentalcars.com. What a scam. Don't give up though, if enough of us continue to fight for justice, this lot can be put out of business.”

“Never give them your e-mail!! I have tried for a very long time to unsubscribe from the RentalCover mailing list - I simply cannot understand why their unsubscribe system does not work!!! Every time the same message: "You will no longer receive any e-mails from us". I have also sent an e-mail directly to "sales@rentalcover ... " - NO response. Therefore, my clear advise: If you do not like spam-mail, junk-mail, etc. NEVER EVER give them your e-mail address. You will regret it. They deserve ZERO stars.”
