I did not receive immediate confirmation of the booking until a few days after I had paid for the rental and the Insurance. Rental.com sent me a whole bunch of info which I did not read properly. Unfortunately this small print included the information that debit cards are not accepted by the car rental company. This meant that when I went to pick up the car I was told that my card was not accepted and I would not be able to get a car. I had to cancel the car rental and insurance and go to another car rental company. My advice to anyone. Do not use booking. com rental service or hire a car online. They are happy to take your money but very slow to refund you and make it very difficult for you to ask for a refund. Bad customer service.

I purchased insurance for a car rental, but never received any confirmation from the company, even though the payment went through successfully and was confirmed by my bank. Despite multiple attempts to contact them—through emails, chat, and phone—I was completely ignored. Not a single email was answered, no agent ever joined the chat, and the only phone number I could find turned out to be nonexistent. In short, I got scammed. If you value your peace of mind, stay far away from them. They caused me significant stress at the start of my holiday.

We booked a rental and got Rentalcover.com for insurance coverage, paid $98. When we got to the ticket counter, they informed us that they did not accept Rentalcover.com. I called them right away and the lady advised us to email Rentalcover.com and ask for a refund since we were not going to be able to use them. We did just that and their response was a screen shot of their Q&A page. In which it states that if you are gonna cancel, it has to be done before you pick up your car. How were we supposed to know that they didn’t take Rentalcover.com? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Claim opened in April 2024. Now August 2024 and still no conclusion. Calling / emailing multiple times with no response. Claim X3GEPFUA-INS

I made a claim as I damaged the car I rented, at the beginning of July. On the 10th they emailed me saying I hadn't provided the repair invoice, which I had done, but anyway, as they asked, I answered to the email attaching the invoice again. After 5 more emails asking for an update, today 31/07/2024 I haven't received an answer and I can't contact them any other way, or submit a claim again.

Don't get this service. No one to talk to and even though they say they cover Mexico, they don't. This is a sham operation and Priceline should know it and dissociate, rather than defraud us, their customers.

My order went through 4 times in duplication due to website errors. Customer service unwilling to accept the issue existed or even help and said, "Luckily you are very ahead from your pick up date so you should be able to cancell all of them with just a click" - Thankfully! I wouldn't want to deal with this company in a real claim if the purchase process is this incoherent.

I cancelled the policy more than 48 hours before it was due to start and I am still waiting for my refund 3 weeks later.

Their ads claim they cover things like flat tires. They don't. Their disclaimer says they don't cover any part of the car whether attached or permanent. Had a flat. The rental firm (europcar) had not provided the correct lug nut lock for that wheel. I had to pay someone to replace the tire with the wheel still bolted on the car which cost $200.

Do not use!!! This company is a scam. Can’t reach anyone via phone, chat or email. In the case of a claim you will need to pay back the car rental company first! A totaled car could cost upwards of $30,000. That’s right, you must pay that before filling any claim that will likely be ignored by rentalcover.com. Do not use!!!

I don’t know about their ability to process a claim because I had no problems with my car, but I have a real issue with their business practices. They popped up after I rented a car through kayak and Priceline in France and I was in a hurry, so I just ticked yes because I, usually take out a policy outside the US. Two weeks later I rented a car through a different online curator and Rental Cover automatically wrote a policy and charged me for it. There was never even a pop-up. How did they know I was even online and renting a car! I was renting through a completely different company. I just got an email from them that said that they had charged me for an insurance policy for the dates of the new car rental. I certainly wouldn’t click on any additional insurance since I have my own insurance in the states. This is overbearing and truly an overreach into my online affairs! Cybercrime really, to automatically write me a policy that I have to then turn around and cancel. This is a good example of AI running wild. For this reason alone, I will never use them again.

Thesis company is a scam, avoid at all cost. I purchased a rental insurance from them in the month of Feb 2024 and filed a claim in the month of March 2024. After 6 emails I have still not received any feedback on my claim till date ( 29th April). Left a voice mail and no call back either.

I do not recommend this company, they are not serious, don’t do their work. It is been longer than 3 months since I made the claim and till today nothing is done. Stay away from them it is just waisting of your money and you get yourself into problem with them. RentalCober é uma porcaria de seguro, gatunos, serviço sem qualidade. Vão comer o teu dinheiro do seguro e se acidentares ainda vais pagar o reparo do carro e não é o seguro não te vai devolver merda alguma. Não recomendo para ninguém. Ik zou niemand RentaCover aanraden. Slecht bedrijf onprofessioneel, helpen geen nut. Er is geen contact nummer en per mail blijven ze je gewoon hoop geven en ik mijn geval al 3 maanden heb ik geen geld ontvangen van de claim ook al heb ik recht voor. Dieven!

I would give them a zero if i could. I submitted a claim over a month ago and nobody has reached out. I chatted with 2 agents (because i guess a phone is out of the question). and they assured my claim would be escalated. But false, nothing after two weeks. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM

Buyer beware. I hired a car through booking.com and ticked the option for full car insurance and immediately received an email from rentalcover.com saying that coverage may not be valid if the car I hired did not have basic insurance. Huh? Unscrupulous way of doing business.

Car rental agency was scam, I had taken insurance out for this rental. Never p/u the car and I didn't use insurance but no refund. This was all through Priceline who referred me to Rentalcover.com.com and insurance referred me back to Priceline. You know how this goes. Bad experience. Just refund my fee for services I didn't even use, it's that simple.

This company uses deceptive and fraudulent business practices. Do not use them. I rented a vehicle with "full coverage" in Portugal. I had a minor scrape and the rental company charged me E4500. Rentalcover then denied the claim after issuing me a cerificate of covergae. Customer service is poor. They only send comouter generated replies.
