“Terrible service! I made a insurance to be sure that i would have any problem with my rental car. It’s unbeliaveble that i’m still waiting for an answer after 2 months. I’ll never use this company and hope people read that to not have the same problem that i had.”

“I am beginning to think this company is a scam. My claim has been "under review" since January 2025. I have sent multiple follow up requests and all I get is this automated reply from AI. My claim has four sections where it says "processed" and then the other four sections say "under review". This is absolute madness. There is no customer support number to reach anyone at which is why I am thinking this is a scam. I am out of pocket because of this and I have no idea if its being looked at. I don't even know how this is legal. It's to the point where I may have to hire legal action to get my payment back from these people. My booking reference is D7BP-JRJW-INS AND I NEED A REPLY BACK ASAP.”

“It’s been almost been 8 months and they have refused to handle my claim. I keep getting automated emails telling me that they are working on it as expeditiously as possible. They also said they reached out to the rental company which is not true. I’m starting to believe that this RentalCover.com is nothing but a scam. I would stay away from them if you’re considering buying insurance.”

“If I could put a 0 star I would. I have sent them multiple email enquiries, can't even talk to them on the phone, all their email responses is "we are assessing your claim" with no peace of mind or someone to at least respond back in a human form simply explaining in human language not robot or automated set responses so I can be assured I am being looked after. My claim total is $32k estimate and not a single cent of care is shown by these people. I have tried to be nice and email them very kind and professionally however it seems that other communication pathways are needed. My booking reference is GA4B-X5NX-INS and my name is Ehsan Alfsiawashi. This is madness imagine being out of pocket $32k because the hire car demanded their money to be paid which I did and paid them assuming I have rental cover and I would be protected as advertised. I need this resolved right away.”

“A syndicate of scammers. I promised to tell people about my experience getting my money back from this dishonest company. I thought I would never fall for the manipulation of such con artists, but I did. “I took action by reporting the incident to the authorities even though I was defrauded on a fraudulent trading website and couldn't access my trading account. But as of yet, no answer has been offered. Thankfully, I was able to locate COVSECLTD*COM, a trustworthy private investigator, who assisted me in getting my money back without asking for payment in advance. I'm glad to share my story and am pleased to receive my money back.”

“I invested for over two months, and when I finally attempted to make my first withdrawal, I was shocked to find my account locked with over $230,000 in it. “RentalCover.com is a total scam in the US. They DO NOT cover everything. Specifically they don't cover diminished in vehicle value in case of a damage or an accident that a rental company will charge you, and it could be between $100s to $1000s coming out of your pocket. My advice, do not accept RentalCover. Get a full coverage from a rental company when you pick up a car. I know it's more expensive but trust me you will save big in the long run if a rental company slaps you with a claim. RENTALCOVER.COM is just a big ol scam.”

“Rentalcover.com is a Scam company. One thinks one is taking insurance from the car hire company from whom one gets the car, but then upon acquiring the car, you discover that they are not associated with the car rental company at all. In fact you end up doubling up on your insurance. I paid Pace Car Rental company in South Africa for full insurance cover and then found that Rental Cover.Com had charged me a whacking amount as well. They don't really respond when you enquire. They did this twice to me. I hired a car from Woodford in South Africa and found RentalCover.Com and Woodford had charged me for full insurance cover. They send you emails and should you go into them your policy with them is immediately activated. DON"T GO INTO THEIR EMAILS. WHEN HIRING A CAR FROM ANY COMPANY DON'T PURCHASE INSURANCE ONLINE - PURCHASE IT WHEN YOU ARE AT THEIR COMPANY SITE AND PURCHASE DIRECTLY - YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE ACTUALLY PURCHASING THE INSURANCE FROM AND I UNWITTINGLY PURCHASED FROM RENTAL COVER.COM AND THEN PURCHASED INSURANCE AGAIN ON THE SITE NOT KNOWING THAT THEY WERE NOT RELATED AT ALL.”

“Bad experience I’ve been trying to submit a claim and ever time I upload everything they need and hit submit I get an error message saying this web link may have moved I’ve sent a few emails and no response It’s over a month now and I can’t get this resolved I feel like your company is a scam maybe you should have a customer care dept do we can speak to a live person Very very disappointed and paid over $380 plus the damages”

“TOTAL sham of a company. They ripped us off and refused to cover us for our car accident in Italy. Read the fine print of your policy- they give themselves a cart blanche to refuse coverage for pretty much anything other than an act of nature. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.”
