Since 10 days I am trying to reach about my claim but they dont care me and they dont even do something of my claim. I still couldnt take my refund. So many emails I sent and I attached the missing file of my claim but no they dont care the client. For me rentalcars and rentalcover are already dead , they are not serious and will be scammers. I cant trust them anymore. Somebody should response my emails what is this. Terribble service

I purchased a policy for Ace Car Rental Toronto Pearson Airport. When I arrived, I was told by the car rental agency that RentalCover.com has not covered them for some time and had to buy insurance on the spot. RentalCover.com refused to reimburse me telling me that it was my responsibility to ensure that the policy they sold me was valid and I had to cancel prior to the date of the rental. How could I know that the policy wasn't valid in advance? This is a very poor business practice on the part of RentalCover.com and I would never recommend them to anyone

Scam!!! Stay away. Insurance is not accepted anywhere. Won’t refund even if you spot it before you have to take out more insurance with car hire company! This is an affiliate of www.rental cars.com who directed me to the scam at www.rentalcover.com. Who in turn is owned and run by www.bookings.com a supposed reputable company - seems nut so much

It’s a trap. I hired through booking, premium insurance and the rental company didn’t take it, so I took out other insurance with the rental company they gave me simple coverage, we had an accident and the rental company charged me the deductible, when I contracted rental cover premium coverage it said that it covered everything and they paid in 3 days, 2 months ago they never contact me again. I had a simple crash from behind and rental cover says it was a very complicated multiple crash, they don't read anything. It is a terrible scam in partnership with booking

It is a SCAM. Their insurance is not accepted, and you never see your cancellation money. I had both full liability insurance through RentalCover.com but that was not accepted by the company I rented a car from and to rent a car I had to buy insurance from a car rental company.

I had both full liability insurance through RentalCover.com but that was not accepted by the company I rented a car from and to rent a car I had to buy insurance from a car rental company. As there was a cancel anytime policy, I didn't activate start and send to RentalCover information that I am canceling their insurance. I was asked to provide insurance from a rental company which I did (even I don't understand why, I simply canceled their insurance), but days passed, no money back.

Can’t understand the good reviews, insurance through Revolut, Interestingly only here are good ones, the web is full of bad experience with the same method: asking for masses of documentation over and over again. Had an accident abroad and needed dental help - they cover only 300€ Euro anyway. Now asking for tons of documentation again - They even ask for the specific price breakdown of the flight ticket (for what?!), detailed doctors report, etc, etc. it’s not a big thing, so completely unreasonable for a 230€ claim. Can’t be reached via phone, chat constantly unavailable. Completely useless. Will downgrade Revolut metal, look for an alternative and use consumer protection. It’s a big SCAM, I sincerely doubt they have an insurance business. Stay away and avoid!

I bought insurance to cover a rental car rented in Portugal. The car was damaged in October 2022 (yes, you read that right, 16 months ago) and I have yet to be reimbursed by RentalCover. I should have read reviews before buying with them. Never again.

Charged my card twice. Once via the rental car company, and once directly. When asked to remedy the situation, they did not respond for six days, then merely shared a help article about how to contact a long list of rental companies.

This company is a ripe off if you are using them for a rental do not waste your money because all the rental cars does allow 3rd party rental insurance and when you call and ask for your money they don’t give it back to you and say they can’t refund you they don’t have they number on the website and it hard to get in contact with me The both Indian guys I spoke with was racist and rude “ Deago Baron And Arjay the manager didn’t want to give me his last name my refund still was not given

We bought a rentalcover insurance for 92 USD from January 14 till 21, 2024 for the car we rented through priceline. We picked up the car in Liberia, Costa Rica. Rentalcover had mailed us a few days before warning us that Payless would try to upsell us. So when we go to the counter and the rep started to go down that route, we came prepared. Feeling backed by rentalcover we refused to accept their much higher rates; the response from payless was clear: if you dont take our insurance we can drive you back to the airport and you will not get a car from us. We, Payless do not accept rentalcover in Costa Rica. To me it sounds like either rentalcover is a scam or Payless is. Both being honest is not possible. We complained to rentalcover, they gave us our money back and we got stuck with the much higher rate from Payless. It feels that all 3 companies involved are not delivering great customer service: rentalcover as they dont stand by their product, priceline as they keep selling these insurances on their site and dont do anything beside putting their hands in the air and payless for not making it clear in advance nobody can rent a car in Costa Rica unless you buy their insurances. This was an extraordinary frustrating and disappointing experience!

As a result of the damage I experienced in Podgorica, I paid 750 eruo for the damage to the company I rented the vehicle from. Later, after uploading all my documents to the claim page l wanted to claim compensation from RentalCovers, while trying to send this form, I received an error from the site every time and I could not start the claim process. I sent many e-mails containing all my files and my reference number to all the e-mail addresses I could find regarding the company, but I did not receive any response. lf they do not solve my problem soon l will make a start to law process.

***Beware***. Rented car in Toronto at Economy Rent a Car. When I picked the car up I was told that RentalCovers insurance could not be used for their rental car. I had to buy insurance for $29.99/day. I informed RentalCover of this situation only to be told that they would not issue me a refund because the policy was not the same one as Economy's policy. In other words, RentalCover is trying to pay for a policy I could not use. Disputing this fraudulent charge through my bank.

We rented a rental car in Cyprus from Germany via Holidaycheck, which included Rentalcover as an insurer. Unfortunately, one tire was flat from one day to the next and the repair costs only amounted to 35.70 Euros. Rentalcover asked for countless proofs and was not satisfied with anything, even though I had completely submitted the requested contract documents provided to me by the rental company, just to be able to reject this minor claim. It really couldn't be any more petty, I've never experienced greater customer unfriendliness. Not a hint of accommodation. For us it is clear that we will never rent a car again where Rentalcover acts as the insurer.

I got full insurance for a trip and had a small accident - scratches on the side of the car. This was on 09/17/2023. I did everything correctly, I paid what was charged to me by the rental company on the spot, with the promise that I would receive a refund from the insurance company - after all, I paid the most expensive insurance for this. I still haven't received it to this day! It's been a month and a half, they claim that there was a disagreement with the rental company (which is not my problem, I did everything correctly and they should have to pay, not me). And, to make matters worse, they ignore my attempts to contact them!! Ridiculous, so far I'm at a loss of 5000 reais!!! I took out insurance to avoid this type of loss and, for something that was not my fault, I had to pay! I don't recommend it, they let you down when you need it.

RenatlCover.com is a horrible company to deal with. I will never use them again and I do not recommend RentalCover.com to anyone. Despite many attempts to get in contact with someone, they do not respond to emails and do not provide any other way of getting in touch with their team. I received an automated email approving a refund and stating when the refund will be deposited. It has been several weeks past that date and I have not received the funds. They ignore any requests and inquiries of mine, do not provide any resolutions and simply just do not respond. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone. My theory is that they are just waiting for us to forget and stop following up.

I will be providing a public review on google. From the outset Rental Cover’s intention to disqualify my claim, which was very straight forward was clear. Ultimately, after many emails, and submitting all the paperwork, my claim was not awarded. I was rear ended in a parking lot, while not in the car, during the insured period. I was charged $4000 and will not receive anything from Rental Cover with no explanation provided. Save your money and skip this coverage, either go with the company coverage or explore coverage on your credit card.

I have cancelled my car booking with free cancellation and i never take back my refund. After 20days and i still text and nobody answer me. The worst rental cover. Dont make tha mistake an trust their company.
