“Restoro is a malware program and it gets into everywhere in your PC. It will also tell you to call in to the Restoro website and suddenly there's this tech guy. With the Restoro web address with all these affiliates with Windows and McAfee Virus programs... IT'S A SCAM...for $299 they can do a deeper diagnostic for you... RUN THE OTHERWAY!!! Uninstall and run a good reliable proven malware program and good luck getting it all out... Never again!! I'm adding more to my review. If you don't believe what I said.. try to call Restoro and YOU'LL get a recording saying to hold on the after like 10 minutes they conveniently have a recording that says none of the techs are available... really!!! Guys DO NOT BELIEVE ANYBODY THAT SAYS RESTORO IS NOT MALWARE AND RESTORO WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY! They conveniently don't accept PayPal even though their website says they do. When they contacted them it wasn't working that day. To pay for it with a debit card directly... really?! I almost fell for it but thank God for my bank that declined the transaction because it was flagged as a scam... the Bank of America said they were scammers. So don't believe me.. they told me I had all kind of problems like malware, virus and something wrong with my registry... they put a fake screen on my computer highlighting the malware and virus... again really! Well I ran Malwarebytes the only malware it identified on my computer was guess... Restoro! People if you don't believe me call them... they'll chat with you because they can easily get in your computer from there.. they are very slick and of course they use chat because you can hardly understand what their saying with their heavy Indian accents. I wish I could reach everyone and tell them what's going on... the websites that are saying it's perfectly great program are getting a kick back from the Restoro company otherwise no one in their right mind would say it's safe... DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THIS PROGRAM. Don't belive those paid sponsors... God bless and good luck.”

“Complete waste of time and money. Having recently updated windows 10 I experienced the problem of windows freezing immediately after start up. Having carried out a system restore the problem persisted but could simply be overcome by opening 'Task Manager' and stopping any running initial apps. The system would then work perfectly. I saw that Restoro were offering a 1 year contract (including customer telephone service) and decided to see if they could help. I allowed them to run a remote check on my laptop which apparently identified some problems but they informed me that they could not cure the freezing. They advised me that in order to rectify the problem I would have to have my machine serviced and that it would cost either £160 or £240 (if I included Macafee subscription). I was not willing to pay this amount and so they then tried the Double Glazing saleseman's trick of saying they would ask a manager to offer me a discount as I was aged 60+! 1) I never informed them of my age! 2) they seem to be promoting Macafee products (possibly to receive commission). 3) If I had used the free Windows Defender facility to perform a full system scan prior to purchasing my Restoro subscription, it would have resolved the problem anyway! 4) The problem identified was an unwanted app that was easily removed by Windows Defender and one which should have been automatically spotted by Restoro. I now feel cheated as well as foolish but thankfully I did not fall for the additional services the staff at Restoro persistently tried to talk me into!”

“SCAM you download for free, it checks your system and gives a list but when you press repair it will not do the repairs till you have paid. How is this FREE Checked other reviews and no mention of it not being free, wonder why that is”

“They offered a 30 day money back guarantee on the 8th of May to fix my computer. After they worked on the computer I still can't put McGafee virus scan on it and I have to wait forever to log into the computer. I called them back and they claimed that I had said my computer was working well so I forfeit my money back. They agreed to give a partial refund, but a money back guarantee doesn't mean a partial refund when I can't even use your computer after they worked on it.”

“Leider hat die Verwendung von Restoro - Lizenz für einmalige Reparatur - gar nichts gebracht. Hat zwar viele Fehler, Malware etc. aufgezeigt, angeblich repariert, danach waren noch mehr Fehler etc. vorhanden. Kann daher keine Empfehlung für diese Firma geben.”
