“They just withhold your money when it suits them for nearly 6 weeks now! Automatic answers on chat and no other way to contact them. They don’t care about their customers. It’s disgusting they are getting away with this”
“Disabled my account on Christmas Day whilst undertaking additional verification, it’s been nearly two days and no action to restore my account.
Explained them that I am vulnerable and need access to my funds and did not get any help what so ever.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! I had my account hacked and my funds were stolen to buy crypto currency on 29th Nov. I reported this immediately to Revolut. The only way to contact them is via online chat which is a nightmare to say the least. Since then I have had to repeat my situation to several different “help agents”, complete a police report at their request and give them all the details I have on numerous occasions. I’m still no closer to getting my money back and I’m just going round in circles.”

They just froze my daughters account and cancelled the card...just before Xmas. Her salary has been paid in even though the account is supposedly frozen, but it is strange how she can't access it, but it was paid in and cleared successfully.
All documents requested have been sent yet the company cannot give her a date when the issue will be resolved. She needs to be able to access her money. They are causing her a lot of stress. All reviews on other sites are saying the same thing. They have a tendency to freeze accounts. One person had to wait two months for the issue to be resolved. Do not trust the positive reviews. They are a very inefficient company. Avoid.. Best to stick to a wall known reputable company.”
“Absolutely appalling. Froze our business account for weeks and then suddenly said that they were closing the account for no apparent reason. No explanation and no contact from them for weeks. Only way to reach them is by in app chat which sometimes does not work. Avoid like the plague.”

The fact they have no costumer service number should’ve been a red flag but as an international student I thought it might be good for tax free withdrawal, I was so wrong. Its is the second time a scammer has gotten hold of my card details . How ?! I don’t even know, that’s the joke of it. Costumer service is absolutely abominable. They will let fraudsters from across the globe clean you out of your bank account . Then proceed to let you wait for days without any reimbursement explanations and when they fail to solve the problem they’ll claim it was you. How am I fighting with this company to get back my OWN MONEY?! Absolute joke .”
“Stole my moneyBasically this app is OK, until they decide (and they will, turns out I am not the only one they did this to, there are many people.. they have even been taken to court over it) to block your account, as they need to "investigate". This investigation, which comes with no warning no requests for documents, nothing, will mean they block your account, and keep all your money. ALL of it. In my case, 15,000 GBP.. I was metal, was downgraded to nothing (no refund for the month) and help desk, which is the only way to contact these crooks, never ever came back to me. I did a Subject Access Request.. nothing. I put a formal complaint in.. nothing.. They basically have just kept my money, which now I cannot access.. How could anyone ever use these as their regular bank I do not know. I have worked in banking, and I have never seen this.. I have joined a website, where other people have experienced the same, and they never got any replies. I was only using my account for little things (buying coffees etc) and putting money from my main account (high street bank) as savings.. which they took the lot. There is literally nothing I can do. The only way to contact these crooks is via the help chat.. which they don't come back to. There is no email, no telephone numbers, nothing. I could go to lithuania to complain apparently.. I mean, terrible terrible.. This company lost 100m last year in their accounts, do you really think YOUR money is safe???”
“I submitted the insurance claim for urgent dental treatment but to submit the claim i was forwarded for times. When I submitted invoices, tickets and all proofs, the insurance company asked me endless list of senseless documents. It’s just for 350 euros, immagine if some serious problem will occur, this insurance will never help you. Very disappointed. It was a main reason i did the metal subscription because I’m traveling a lot.
It’s not easy even to submit. You are writing email which you see in Revolut app after that they are forwarding your email to other company, that company forwarding again your email, just after that they are sending you email with link to submit the insurance claim. It would be more easier if you just give the link in the beginning. After you submitted, nothing is happening, you are writing to them and receiving endless list of requests which you can see in the attachment.
So senseless list i never saw. How you can proof that you don’t have elsewhere insurance?🤦
It’s a second time I opened account in Revolut to give them a chance for advertising efforts they are doing. First time i left them because when i was in a brought they blocked my card for verification, just when I’m in a brought and without cash. After I submitted the documents in few days they unlocked it.
Unsubscribed from metal and will pass to other solutions.
I don’t suggest anyone to have a bank account in Revolut because they can block your account in any moment and the insurance with Metal subscription is useless, when you will have trouble they will do everything to don’t give you the money.”
“Rubbish customer service. I have spent 3 days in chats being transferred from agent to agent only for 5 miserable pounds that they refuse to reimburse.
They keep creating and inventing reasons that are not even in the Terms and Conditions and when challenge, they kept transferring to another agent and taking hours to even reply.
Don't even want to imagine how much worse it could get if someone stole my card! After over 3 years actively using, I will be changing banks!”
“A terrible and scrupulous bank. Sheer incompetence are the two words I describe this bank as. They have no formal lines of communication—only an ‘in app chat’ and Facebook. First and foremost, Facebook should not be used to communicate with anyone regarding financial matters. Second, how are you meant to get hold and talk to anyone in a time of crisis. Unfortunately, the answer you are looking for is that it is IMPOSSIBLE! When your account gets closed you are told to login and go to the chat. What if you are unable to login though—what about that one? How do I contact anyone?? Facebook is a ridiculous medium! The fact that a payment is able to come out in seconds is also awful. Revolut is being used for money laundering. Fraudsters—if they are not themselves—are realising that this bank are an easy target and are making people transfer their money into a Revolut account which they are coerced to create. Worrying sick that your money is in danger, you create the account. I am really unhappy with the outcome and the way I have been treated.”

“can't trust some companies.. Lot of hidden fees. My last transfer with them, the confirmed all fees, and then only half of the money arrived the rest the told me that the connecting bank charged haha, like the would be in business 1 day only and would not know if there will be any additional charges. This was not a mistake, probably on purpose trying to rip off customers”
“Revolut blocked my account with no warning or reason, then proceeded to ignore me.
After making a complaint, they finally replied with an email stating they were not upholding my complaint. My account has been blocked for 26 days and counting.
I discourage anyone to use this bank especially if you want to be able to access your own money.
