I made a purchase online and it was unsuccessful but on revolut statement it appeared as pending, so Revolut held my money, I couldn’t revert and it took 10 days until they returned my money. Then the second time it happened, I chatted the customer services few times and they said they would revert the money but needed me to wait until the next day after the failed transaction and then another 10 hours. But then they gave me ‘NO’. I did provide the email screenshot from the merchant which stated that the money is not transferred to them and It should be refunded to me in 48hours by the bank, if not I should contact the card provider. What a lousy service and policy Revolut have. Truly wasted of my time to contact them many times and given empty promises, at the end they didn’t help at all, they made it difficult by asking me to contact the merchant again when it’s already so obvious that the merchant has said to look for the card provider.

The customer support is horrible. I waited 15 minutes, and chatted for another 10 the support agent didn’t help and said that her shift was over and handed the case to another agent who also was not able to help and said his shift is over and handed the case to the third agent. They have deposit limits and I am not able to deposit even $100.

Revolut should not be allowed to trade. They suspended my account and asked for information I’m regards some transactions. Property sale so I provided completion statements from Solicitors as requested. Then I was asked for bank statements, then they asked why I had travelled and to provide evidence I had. Then they asked for a residence permit for the country I’d travel to on holiday. It just got silly but I decided to continue to act in a professional manner and have provided them with more information I’ve ever given to anyone including banks when I was running a very large company years ago. No matter what I do this account will not be opened. I’ve reached this conclusion as it’s impossible to chat to a person on the telephone. I’ve been chatting online to a Woman who refused to give me her name. I’m receiving random messages now that seem to be not in connection to my account. I reply only to receive messages that are clearly produced by a computer. It’s very frustrating. By balance is around £1850 and lucky for me I can continue without it. It’s lost I’m sure as I’m told by a Solicitor that Revolut are always in trouble with various government institutions. GET YOUR MONEY OUT IF ITS IN. IF ITS NOT IN DONT RISK IT. REVOLUT CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. IF YOU HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT IN ID ADVICE YOU TAKE IT OUT SLOWLY. AS IF THEY THINK YOUR PULLING OUT THEY MAY NOT LIKE IT.

They blocked my card for more then half year and is still blocked in this moment and nobody cares so take 1 star Revolut, to bad I can't give you 0 star!

Do not use revolut, i will open as many email addresses and write reviews everywhere and encourage the same with other people. Blocked me off 3 twitter accounts? Childish move, no worries you won't be able to keep my quiet, already spoken to Financial Ombudsman they are suprised as well locked for 6 weeks overdue bills etc. Revolut i will not stop until you sort my account.

I will never rely on Revolut again I was an avid user of Revolut and would always tell others to use it until I was left without access to my money in a foreign country. I was unable to get into the app and therefore unable to speak to ANYONE. The only way to get in contact is via the in app chat and if this doesnt work, you will be without your money. I unfortunately was relying on my Revolut card when travelling around the Philippines and when it stopped working and kicked me out of the app I had no money and had to get money from other travellers and wire transfers (bare in mind this was at the start of the pandemic so was very difficult) to be able to get a flight home (which made trying to leave the country 100 times more stressful than it already was). Safe to say, always have two backups and dont rely on banks that only have an app. Two months after getting home they finally let me into the app and I transferred all my money out.

Dont open an account with them, they will block you at one point and wont be able to access money for weeks

Super bad customer service, they grew too big and they dramatically reduced the service quality. After 2 years of business ubscritions I'm closing my account with them, not recommende anymore.

No support for bank transfers, debit card transfers, googlepay, etc. It - even a wire transfer didn't work. It was a waste of time and money. Use some other method and, although you may pay fees, it will be cheaper in the long run. Customer service is extremely poor and when I actually got someone online (only), they were unable to assist with above issues.

don't sign up with them when you are a business - terrible experience all the way. Appalling customer service team and really poor communication: it took 1 month to set up my account and just now they closed my account down without allowing me to download the transaction history. Oh and i can no longer chat to customer service team, in other words, i cannot contact my business bank at all - terrible service

I placed salaries payments 1 week ago and they didn’t come through. It is Christmas for the god sake, people have to be paid!!!! I had to say every day, “probably tomorrow, sorry it is Revolut” if you want to come through as unreliable employer and payer in front of your employees and suppliers-so go ahead work with Revolut. I’m done , reputation is more valuable! I hate than Someones unprofessionalism influences my reputation.

I had my card swallowed up by an ATM in Turkey. The Turkish bank asked for a fax from Revolut to be able to reutrn my card - Revolut refused to do this. They offered to send me a card by express delivery, something I wasn't able to take up immediately. A week later, when I was ready, I chatted to a series of incompetent people, who did not read the case history, did not bother to reply to questions fully. One chat with Revolut at the moment can take over an hour.

What an absolute shambles...call themselves a business. I've had no end of issues with this sorry excuse of an online platform! Had a tax refund sent to the Revolut account and due to previous problems with them, I quickly transferred the refund to one of my other accounts before I had to battle to get my money!!....Just as well because now I'm having trouble getting the rest of the balance I left in the account....No end of documentation they're asking for....completely over the top and totally unnecessary...they have you jumping through hoops!! They're taking online (so-called) security to a whole other level....as if they don't want us to get our money! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY...BUNCH OF CROOKS!!😠

PLEASE!! I WARN YOU!! DO NOT EVER USE THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A BANK!! READ THE REVIEWS...I CAN'T BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS AREN'T AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE WHEN GOOGLED AS A COMPANY....PEOPLE ARE BEING DUPED INTO THINKING THIS BANK IS GOOD AND LEGITIMATE. THEY STEAL MONEY AND ARE FULLY AUTOMATED SO IF YOU HAVE A REAL ISSUE THERE IS NO ONE THERE TO DEAL WITH YOUR QUERY OR PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD TO CONTACT THE FCA AND THE FO. THEY ARE LOGGED AS BEING IN BREACH OF PROVISION 6 AND PROVISION 7 . THE FO HAVE ALSO STATED THEY HAVE ACTED UNLAWFULLY BY WITHOLDING BENEFIT MONEY. THE TELEPHONE NUMBERS GIVEN TO THE FO ARE COMPLETELY AUTIMATED AND THE OTHER DOESN'T EVEN WORK. BASICALLY, IF YOU EVER HAVE AN ISSUE WITH YOUR ACCOUNT, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GET IT RESOLVED....LEAST OF ALL SPEAK TO AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I tried today to contact the customer service online chat and I was warned by Rita (robot) that i have to wait roughly for 30 minutes. It is now 1 hour and 40 minutes and i am still waiting for a reply at the chat. Disappointed. There is no customer service at all.
