What an absolute shambles...call themselves a business. I've had no end of issues with this sorry excuse of an online platform! Had a tax refund sent to the Revolut account and due to previous problems with them, I quickly transferred the refund to one of my other accounts before I had to battle to get my money!!....Just as well because now I'm having trouble getting the rest of the balance I left in the account....No end of documentation they're asking for....completely over the top and totally unnecessary...they have you jumping through hoops!! They're taking online (so-called) security to a whole other level....as if they don't want us to get our money! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY...BUNCH OF CROOKS!!😠

PLEASE!! I WARN YOU!! DO NOT EVER USE THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A BANK!! READ THE REVIEWS...I CAN'T BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS AREN'T AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE WHEN GOOGLED AS A COMPANY....PEOPLE ARE BEING DUPED INTO THINKING THIS BANK IS GOOD AND LEGITIMATE. THEY STEAL MONEY AND ARE FULLY AUTOMATED SO IF YOU HAVE A REAL ISSUE THERE IS NO ONE THERE TO DEAL WITH YOUR QUERY OR PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD TO CONTACT THE FCA AND THE FO. THEY ARE LOGGED AS BEING IN BREACH OF PROVISION 6 AND PROVISION 7 . THE FO HAVE ALSO STATED THEY HAVE ACTED UNLAWFULLY BY WITHOLDING BENEFIT MONEY. THE TELEPHONE NUMBERS GIVEN TO THE FO ARE COMPLETELY AUTIMATED AND THE OTHER DOESN'T EVEN WORK. BASICALLY, IF YOU EVER HAVE AN ISSUE WITH YOUR ACCOUNT, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GET IT RESOLVED....LEAST OF ALL SPEAK TO AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I tried today to contact the customer service online chat and I was warned by Rita (robot) that i have to wait roughly for 30 minutes. It is now 1 hour and 40 minutes and i am still waiting for a reply at the chat. Disappointed. There is no customer service at all.

Awful inexistent service - no fraud protection Our accounts with Revolut have been compromised due to fraud activities. We called the revolut’s phone number immediately and no one answered, reported it immediately on the online chat they provide and despite our countless efforts for 10 hours, nobody has responded to us. 14,000 GBP have been stolen from our account and there is nobody from revolut who can assist or even respond to us. Shockingly bad service!

Difficult to get to the bottom of issues and Revolut are acting irresponsibly with customers. I do like the app and the principles of making money handling easier and more responsive. I have had a significant issue however which Revolut have been very unhelpful with. They claim fee free top ups using a variety of payment methods and encourage people to use credit cards and apple/google pay. I chose to top up my account using a credit card purchase through Google Pay as Revolut assure there will be no fees. On reviewing my credit card statements I saw my deposits had led to fees and interest. Revolut are taking cash advances from credit cards (like a cash withdrawal which nearly always attracts fees) rather than charging as purchases. My bank say they have no control over how this money is requested from them i.e. why a cash advance rather than a purchase. I then spoke to a Revolut agent who said they offer fee free top ups and the cash advance payment type is nothing to do with Revolut which directly contradicts what my bank has said. I also see that the app accepts credit card top ups directly with no warning that these are cash advances which are rarely fee free.This may lead to significant financial issues customers and is irresponsible customer service. I have been left in the middle with no clarity on what is going on and why. I have received quite clear communication from my bank that it is Revolut who decide to take cash advances from credit cards, rather than purchases --- this will clearly lead to fees for customers and should be made much clearer. Be more open with your customers Revolut!

Do not use!!! They keeping my money from last week (frozen) I left with nothing after my wages!!! Not contact number, and when have chat on line always some answers We still working on this problem!!! How u can trust the bank??? nobody do it nothing about to help or sort out the problem! I lost £540 what I suppose to do? My last money after my wages !!! Tell me how to trust you????

Awful customer service - never use them. It takes days for chat support to answer, which is unacceptable for a financial service platform. Transfer times are a lie - they say a ā€˜day’ when you put the transfer in. Oops - later on, it’s 2-5 days. Extremely bad user interface too. Don’t use them unless you want to be terribly stressed.

Beware of this company. I've reviewed this on Trustpilot but hoping that reviewing here will make Revolut contact us directly! We have been scammed by someone purporting to be from Revolut. They called us directly and seemed to know everything about the account that the bank would know. We cannot get into the account or get in touch with Revolute directly to resolve this as he is locked out of the app. Really awful that this can happen and that there is no contact possible.

Revolut is a disgrace, they lock your account for no reason and ask for things you cannot provide to unlock it, they do not call you even if you request so, you can only speak to a chat box..I am stuck in a foreign country with no money - RUN AWAY

Good to use for payments in your country and abroad. Don’t use it for training. I placed a share sale order which was pending for two days. Finally position was sold at the ā€œ two days later ā€œprice I lost Ā£400 because of terrible service.

Locked Account, Missed Payments, Credit Defaults, Can't Pay my Rent, Thursday 19th November, Revolut Locked my account without warning placing me in a review. They asked me for documents, statements, pay slips which I have provided. I'm still waiting for them to review the account. I use the account as my main bank account and due to this matter. I can't pay my rent, my bills, as my money is locked away. I also have a stock and shares portfolio, using their stocks platform. I can't buy or sell or even see my portfolio. Which is worrying as the market could crash. Very stressful, I messaged Revolut on the app, no reply as I'm in review. So I turned to twitter, and messaged them on this platform. The social networking team informed me they can't provide any help. As a Revolut business customer, I messaged the business team who handed me over to the personal team. Who have been saying I'm being prioritised. However its been 4 days and no one has even looked at my case. I would say too people think twice about Revolut as a platform. It does offer good features, but these can be found elsewhere. It isn't worth the risk when they can lock your account without notice.

I had received my cousins tax returns in to my account as at the time he done his tax dint have an account, Revolut froze my account requested so many documents which i did provide to them now they deleted my account and holding £1650 . What a joke

I was buying a new car and Natwest for some reason said i had exceeded my daily one off transfer amount. So i transferred to my existing Revolut account on file £10k and Revolut froze my account. They would only unfreeze via messenger chat once i upload proof the money had come from my own account. They finally unfrozen my account later that evening after the garage closed. Then last week someone sent me £30 as a thank you for helping them out. So Revolut froze it, to unfreeze they asked me to prove the senders legal residential status and their middle names!!!!!!! So i told them to close my account instead and send the money back. That was a week ago, money not sent back (still pending) and my account is still not closed. The worse bank you could use / join Awful chat-only support + tons of never corrected bugs and reckless changes all the time. More importantly their Know-Your-Customer service is semi-automated and dangerously paranoid. They first lock you out of your account and your funds, and you start a difficult procedure, just to be able to chat with them, and only then can you start trying to prove you're legit and in good faith. You think it only happens to others because they did something wrong ? Well, I thought so too, then it hits you too !

You CANNOT CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT, mine is Ā£0 and I don’t want to pay another subscription. At the end of the account closing process it says ā€œSORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONGā€

Danger Awful chat-only support + tons of never corrected bugs and reckless changes all the time. More importantly their Know-Your-Customer service is semi-automated and dangerously paranoid. They first lock you out of your account and your funds, and you start a difficult procedure, just to be able to chat with them, and only then can you start trying to prove you're legit and in good faith. You think it only happens to others because they did something wrong ? Well, I thought so too, then it hits you too ! Having a business account is too much of a risk, don't do it !

customer service - zero! why? because now apparently they have some checks for every amount which comes in to your account which takes so long, and all they can say is sorry sorry. How people supposed to live if this is their only account??? For what they should buy food? You're messing with people lifes with your promises! Normal person can't receive bigger salary cause it's a red flag??? And all good for you.... going home, buy dinner...... while someone has no even money for it - cause u do your job too slow. I will be complaining until this is resolved.
