“I bought Halo 3 package from BT (British Telecommunication company) at begining of July. On July 12, Royal Mail send me six messages that my pacel will be delivered "in the next day", but they failed to send it, on July14, 21, 22, 23, 24, they continuesly send me the same message and continuously failed to deliver my pacel. Every time, they failed to send my pacel, they said "it was not possible to identify the delivery address". Actually, BT gave them the correct address, Royal Mail's guy responsible for delivery just ignor the details of the address and return it back to BT. It's completely not professional and thoroughly unacceptable. What a bad company like that?”
“As I'm working from 8AM to 5PM I can't take parcels when delivered, however for collection my post office depo is at Manchester, M8 9AA waterloo road and they working hours is Monday to Friday is 8 to 12, how the hell I can collect my parcels if I'm working person? Royal mail services for unemployed and retired people only? Shame!!!”
“Small package sent mid March 2012 recorded/tracked and signed for on delivery to USA, item value £140. The amount paid and choice of mailing was suggested by person in the post office. By the end of June 2021 no delivery had been made so I processed online compensation claim with Royal Mail. Mid July 2021 I receive a cheque for £50 compensation plus money it cost for postage. Customer service states it is clear on their website about minimum compensation. Firstly who on earth would read into Royal Mail website before postage and secondly it states on your receipt from Post Office to view separate terms for Royal mail, this is after you have paid for postage. Royal Mail is a disgrace and the service they offer is not fit for purpose.”
“Royal Mail Tracked 24 is a joke. I would avoid at all costs. Apparently the 24 is only an "aim" and delivery can take over one week. Utterly useless and will never use again.”

“Quite simply, the Royal Mail 48 tracking system is useless. The first indication you get (if you access their tracking web-site) is when it is being delivered. No use or help whatsoever if you are away or out that morning. Why bother?”
“No matter how well I package my products and plaster them in fragile tape and stickers Royal Mail still manage to break them. I know how hard it is to break the items but they still manage it. They must kick and throw the boxes around. And of course their insurance covers nothing.”

“Royal Mail don't care about their already terrible reputation but they are the worst. They send emails saying delivery due day then tracking says still in another country, they send letters and important personal mail to wrong addresses, lose items without a care. If ever I do online shopping and I realise the company uses Royal mail I get a sense of dread. They have a monopoly in this country, very unfortunate.”
“I will never understand why the Royal Mail always complains that they aren’t paid enough. Normally you get paid for the service you deliver; so very little in this case.
The Royal Mail has the monopoly on UK Postal Services, they don’t work to Targets and have no Motivation or Incentive to get their post delivered.

“Due a delivery today and lazy driver has said the address was inaccessible. It isn't. After phoning the royal mail I was told they wouldn't be trying again till Monday and that they couldn't do anything else. Liers. If they wanted to they would bring it back and I'd wait outside”

“48 hour tracked is nothing of the sort several of mine have taken up to 10 days .Oddly when I went to the post office to post a parcel I asked for a 10 day service and they said they don't have one Stange I thought it was called 48 hour tracked .
Poor service seems to be the normal for royal mail”
“Tracked 24 hour delivery is neither tracked or 24 hour. I appreciate circumstances are difficult at the moment but if you aren’t capable of providing these services don’t advertise them or charge for them.”
“Utterly useless service. I dread it when Amazon orders say fulfilled by royal mail. Twice separate orders delivered to the wrong address, and not just down the road.. another estate entirely. Again now, we tried to deliver but couldn't. Really? My CCTV says otherwise. Not a soul turned up. We'll deliver the next working day. Another text saying we tried to deliver, of course nobody actually showed up. It's ready for collection. But can't collect as they're closed. You couldn't make it up. Utterly useless company that deserve to fade into nothing.”
