“Royal Mail delivered TWO parcels to me earlier this week; knocked on my door and left them on the door step. I caught the guy walking away, and he motioned with his hand for me to look downwards. It was raining. Thank goodness I was home as neither parcel was wrapped in plastic; just cardboard. I'm now waiting for another parcel to be delivered by them, this one 1st Class 'signed for' with an iPad inside. Took them 5 days to deliver it to a shop for repair, First Class Delivery. Now it's on it's return journey back to me. The repair shop only had it less than two days; sent it back to me on 2nd day - 3rd June @12:48pm 1st Class 'signed for'.”
“Sent an item tracked, it was UK inland. 21 days after taking the item to the post office the tracking showed that it still hadn't been delivered. A month later, still not delivered. Royal mail tracking is useless.”
“Royal Mail are monumentally useless! I'm expecting a small parcel supposedly "48 Hour tracked". Unfortunately, RM's interpretation of 48 hours is frankly anything they want it to be and no doubt they'll bleat about this being a Covid-19 related issue. Any excuse RM! Looking at the tracking my parcel was in the system a week ago, its been to several sorting centres, including some incorrect ones, and still is no where near its final leg of the journey. This outdated institution needs a complete kick up its backside. If Amazon can deliver me something within hours, why can't RM? Wouldn't it be great if Amazon took over RM completely. If anyone from RM ever reads these reviews, although I doubt it given there arrogance, then pull your finger out and provide a service fit for the 21st century or if you are incapable of that then hand the business to someone that can!”
“Waited in all day for a package to receive a text stating delivery attempted but unable to access driveway/front door. Absolutely pack of lies. Insult to injury when waiting in all day to receive lies like that. No attempt was made, no cctv detected, no doorbell rang & absolutely no obstructions. Tried to call & give them opertunity to explain lies but gave up after 20min on hold with sorry to keep you waiting nonsense. Well sorry I won't be using you again, sorry I will tell many how bad you are, sorry am leaving you as many bad reviews on as many sites as I find, I am very sorry indeed. “The tracking system is useless. They notified me they had mistakenly sent it to the wrong depot and then no updates since. What was supposed to be a 48 hour delivery is getting on for a week. No information at all.”
“Tracked 48 is an appalling service. I bought the stamp over the Royal Mail website. It did not make it clear that you cannot drop the parcel off at the post office like other services. I had to drive to a Royal Mail depot to post the item. It then took 2 days for the parcel to go from one depot in Leeds to another depot in Leeds! And it is still there. The website seems to promise that the receipient would get notifications of the journey. This has also is not happening. I am really angry and disappointed with this service. I spoke twice to customer service which was not very helpul (and always took over an hour to get through to somebody). I will not use this service again and cannot recommend it. Stay away from Tracked 48! Misleading sell on via the Royal Mail website.”
“Still charging first class rates for worse than second class delivery. It has took a week for three letters posted 1st class to arrive. They are a joke. I will be posting less letters and cards.”

Ive ordered an important medication for my mum heart from the pharmacy in London with the extra paid tax and supposed to be delivered today and when I tracked the number it’s said is been delivered on the address and its been signed too but it wasn’t on my address i live on number 145 and had to go and knocking on the doors and I found it on number 14 ???!!!! Why do we pay im asking?? Who is responsible for it? Because if I haven’t been able to find the people who received it my mum could be in a hospital right now !!!!!!! And the parcel was open too !”
“If I see a company uses Royal Mail I will avoid ordering with them. Their service at the moment is absolutely terrible, even more so than usual! Something posted to me two weeks ago has still not arrived. We are all considerate to the current situation but Royal Mail is beyond bad. Other companies are continuing to deliver”
“After following instructions I received via email after generating an email online, I visited 4 Royal Mail customer Service branches. All saying they don’t offer the service. So what was I told I could? When contacting customer service they said I shouldn’t have known ?????? Known what ?? After blaming me for not knowing information that was never given to me she asked if I needed any more help. I asked to be connected to the complaints team she said i need to go on the website and cut the phone.”
