Trust me, NEVER give Safestyle UK the benefit of the doubt and allow them to come and quite. I only said yes because I actually want a quote for new windows and doors - the idiot lost himself a sale by going straight into his control tactics rather than just measure up, quote and let me buy windows I already want. How thick can you get? Typical pressure sales tactics and I've heard from others since that they will go as far as to bully people into signing a deal, refusing to leave until you do - how desperate can you get? What satisfaction is there in making money by trying to manipulate, control, pressure and bully people - and why, if the company's products, service and price are any good, would a company depend on sales people like that? They are clearly self-employed and earn on commission only - but if they were decent individuals they'd get another job. They're not decent, they're horrible nasty vile low life scum with no sense of pride and no moral decency, and they work for a money grabbing rip-off merchant company that amounts to nothing more than a soulless sales engine. Window companies like that, and people like that, make you want to avoid even buying new windows when they're something you actually want - so god knows what remorse the poor people must be feeling who never wanted windows in the first place and were pressured into it. Take my word for it, buy your windows elsewhere.

If I were able to leave a review with no stars I would. Terrible communication. workmanship and constantly let down with appointments not kept. No one takes responsibility to resolve issues. 14 months later and still having problems - fascia coming away, window locks fallen out and guttering wonky! I just wish I’d known before spending a huge amount of money with Safestyle. One of the biggest regrets of my life.

I had two new doors fitted, my beck door has constant locking issues and leaks water into my kitchen during heavy periods of rainfall. I had an engineer from another company come out, he spent 45 minutes inspecting the doors and found that the door frames were not installed correctly, both had bows which resulted in seal failure, end result water entering my property onto a new laminated floor. After many months of phone calls and repeated visits to try and resolve the issues, a Safestyle engineer arrived on 16/11/21 to relocate the door frames and fit a new back door, from what I can see the engineer did a good job re-alining the door frames which should have been done at the time of the initial installation, however, he was unable to fit the new door because I'd had a £200 drop down blind fitted to the window, he was not allowed to remove this. I called Safestyle today to ask if they would cover the cost of removal and refitting of the blind as the problem was caused due to their installation, not that of my having a blend fitted to what I assumed would be a correctly fitted product, NO was the answer, so I'm now in a position of removing the blend myself and possibly causing damage to it or calling the fitters back in to remove and refit it at my cost which I feel is unfair as this is all down to Safestyles sloppy workmanship nothing else. I do not and would not recommend this company to anyone, their customer relations and ability to understand their responsibility with regard to correcting their customers miss-aligned incorrectly installed doors is outrageous.

chased and chased again Just to be clear we didnt buy from safe- style but if you are thinking of getting a quote be aware of the following: the price the quote at first drops by many thousands of pounds if you sign up immediately - always a sign of a company that doesnt want to compete with others. Having then declined the quote with a definite email I was chased on some more occasions from head office when i said that they could give me a final price by email I was then rung back to be told that it had to be discussed with me on the phone so my conclusion is if you want to have a sensibly quiet life dont talk to these people about windows

I would put minus star if I could. Stay away from this company. The sale man was full of lie. Installation was unsafe. Big damage to the property during installation and no fix was done afterwards. Fitters & their manager tried to avoid replacing faulty product during installation and push me to use warranty in the future. Fitter tried to push me to sign completion form even before I saw the most expensive piece of the product - front-door, not to mention its installation, when being questioned, fitter said his manager pushed him to do so. Customer service was difficult to reach, and didn't help even if the phone got through. Initially I thought it was just bad luck with the fitter, but after interacting with two managers from the depo, I realized the company is systematically rotten. The attached photo is how the window looks like after 5 months' installation. And it's only one of the many problems they've left.

On the 8th October a salesman came to the house at my request. After speaking to the representative I ordered 2 patio doors, I was then contacted on the 14th October saying it would be 4 to 6 weeks to installation, he said that any damage to the K.rendering on the house would be covered by their insurance. I suddenly had a call at 7.30 this evening saying that they would not go ahead with the contract, telling me that I would get my deposit back. Probably something to do with any damage to the rendering Completely out of the blue. Also, asking personal questions, which had nothing whatsoever to do with fitting 2 patio doors. Only just seen the terrible reviews this minute. Absolutely dreadful

Scam, Fraud, Health & safety hazard, hidden charges / extortion , lies, aggressive and this is just the beginning. This company is a record holder on the highest fine given by Trading Standards (2018) and it is still the same company if not worse. I have made a mistake to choose this company. They damaged my property - plaster around the windows I can see internal of my walls! When I asked to repair the damage they caused, they said it is 110 pounds extra per window extra (hidden costs, or extortion?!) They delivered broken hard wood shelves - when I rejected them I was told they are made out of natural materials, and the nature wants the wood to crack and you cannot wind with the nature! Installation was suppose to take 2-3 days, max week. After two weeks of what they called work (by a single person ofc.) still no way near to completion. Fast forward 4 months, I got windows and door "installed" with big damage to plaster - +15 cm width. Shelves broken and damaged during installation, PVC chipped in a window, patio doors shelve completely loose and causing tripping hazard. During the installation fitters decided to leave screws, nails debris all over my house. No cleaning was done. During installation they throw the window frame from 1 floor directly onto my patio in the garden - I guess it was the fastest way?! Additional scaffolding was apparently needed - but only on the front of the property, not on the back (my house is symmetrical) and paved patio on the back! In the middle of installation fitter was trying to force to me to sign the completion form, before even the front door was installed, and all the damage present! the drama he threw was unbelievable, trying to make it personal as he worked hard, and he won't get paid etc. etc. Shouting and begging was involved.... Unbelievable. The whole safestyle (UK) operates as one big scam organization with all the work being sub contracted. In order to get in touch with customer services and finally reach a person who can potentially help resolving the issue you will spend several hours on wait, being transferred between departments, until you reach a mysterious person who call him/her self "safe style" just to hear they will call you back - that never happens. Each time I rise the problem with faulty glass, frame or shelves, fitters, and who ever I managed to get in-touch with so called customer services, they tried to convince me that I have to buy faulty and damaged goods, because in this case I will have the warranty on them ! Some times reality is stranger than fiction I guess.. I bought the windows using their 0 % interest free loan. The principle was that safestyle will not get the money until I sign the release form - this is a lie! as in small print in agreement with Barclyes Partners they can get the money anytime the want, saying they have delivered the goods and service!!!! I was just notified that they (safestyle) decided that they have delivered goods and service so they took my money. They sales person was also lying - saying that he will provide us a quote, which is only valid for 1 day! After 4h of sales talk we signed - so stupid of me! Please checkout the court case against this company. I reported this case to Trading Standards hoping they can resurrect the court case from 2018.

Safestyle UK. I have had my windows and doors installed for about 2 years. The windows are good quality or at least they seem to be. The front door I had fitted was a different experience. The first install the door was bowed. This did not sit in the frame well. I have pictures. After cleaning the area I ha notice a gap underneath the door. If I got down to the floor and I could look through the gap and read my neighbours number plate across the road. I then asked for the door to be refitted. That took a few months. Finally they refitted and the gap was gone. The bow still remained. I complained again and eventually they sent what they call an engineer. He agreed I needed a new slab, that's their term for the door. I waited another 6 - 8 weeks. They finally arrived. Great. Only to find out they have the wrong colour door. So they had to reorder a new slab. Hopefully the right colour. I waited again for another 6 to 8 weeks. The time had passed, they came only this time after fitting it the engineer said you wont be happy. the paint work from the factory is in poor quality and down one side its white not grey. My door is grey both sides. The engineer had said I will order a replacement as you will have issues within a few years. He then ordered a new door. You guessed it, I waited another 6 - 8 weeks. I took the day off. I watching telly, I get a call from the engineer asking what colour is my door. I thought that's a weird question. I replied Grey, he said his is white and grey. He never came. I called the office asked for a manager and they said he had a grey door and a white and grey. They said they would call him and call me back. They never called me back. I complained again in writing and got an auto-response so they received the email but no one ever replied. I called and said can I have a date for the door to be fitted. 25th November. That's today. Only thing was safestyle was called on Friday to say they cannot attend as no engineers available. They use to advise me on an install date by text. They don't do that with me any more. I have been let down so many times to get a replacement door. How many times until it becomes not acceptable. I will now be writing to trading standards and I will want to see if Trust pilot remove this as I will write an an honest review. I have pictures of the spray paint they used on my door that is in the window to cover up the poor work. Next step is trading standards and the council and possible section 75 of the consumer act

Absolutely dreadful service!! Had one salesperson and one surveyor visit , to be told later down the line that 1 of my windows had been missed off the survey. Just had a phone call today 22/10/21 to say that they cannot manufacture 2 of my bigger windows 6 weeks down the line! How odd……. As these 2 windows were manufactured 20 years ago , but cannot be made now ?!? Yet, at least 5 of our neighbours have had these exact windows made in the last 3 months! Utter unprofessional time wasters !

Absolutely dreadful company! Avoid at all costs!!! I had new windows installed but was already broken. It’s been an absolute nightmare trying to get this company to put this right. Numerous phone calls to only be met mostly by terrible customer service. At one point, I was told I’d have to pay for the damage! The day they were meant to install - they never turned up! At the second appointment- they broke the new pane of glass. Today, 21 Oct - they weren’t meant to install the new glass- I was told this morning the parts were unavailable! Though I called the night before to confirm the appointment! And I’ve now been told that they won’t visit till the 3 jan 2022!!!! It’s been an unpleasant and awful experience from start to finish

I never realised I was had from the offset I should have read this page The real customer reviews before allowing them to direct me to trust pilot The salesperson pretended to phone someone-head office- and offered me an enormous discount almost half the price -it was a Sunday so how stupid am I. Also when I said I wanted a composite door and could I look at a brochure he said I didn't need one that PVC is just as good and looks the same and showed me PVC brochure and only costs £1000 whereas composite door costs £2000. I recently had another older stone house fitted with another company this was £5500 all in and composite front door in duck egg blue & larger windows so I am able to draw a comparison it took them the week to complete took their tine and looks perfect excellent quality Sureseal. I went with Safestyle even though it was £500 more expensive than Sureseal because it could be fitted in 4 weeks and it was. The 2 fitters came from Gloucester the house is in Aberdare Mid Glamorgan South Wales. They flew the windows and doors up in half a day. And results showed this was done at pace. During the installation I noticed the front door was on a slant diagonally and top right window also slanting backwards and to the side. I pointed this out to the younger one off 2 who was there. I showed him the window he was narked & Cross about it The other bloke had gone to fetch some plaster He said he would see what he could do I went home and complained to Safestyle When I went back nothing was changed the older one off the 2 tried to give me some banter about it being an older property I tried to say the windows and doors that came out were straight I never gave them the balance what was owed as not happy The next day some one else was coming to complete the ironmongery on door that is spy hole door nob house numbers safety chain All the above were fitted next day and he said he was a service engineer from Gloucester He gave a similar speel And offered me £500 off the price and I said it wasent enough And I wanted new sorted asap and again refused the balance of payment I had to leave to collect my car from the garage wasent sure if I had locked front door properly as was in a rush The service engineer was in his van opposite when I left the street I had opened and closed door since many times with no problem When I returned I couldn't get back in the house The manager in Pontypool had phoned me as I was on way for my car so I had his phone number When I returned I couldn't get back into house had had no problem previously I phoned Pontypool manager and he sent someone local round He sorted it straight said the mechanism was too tight and he loosened the lock area and it was OK like it was before This gentleman was nice and helpful I said to the Pontypool manager when he came why couldn't I have had someone like that sorting my installation there wouldn't have been a problem then He said they were very busy and asked a Gloucester team to fit mine I said I was unlucky then the salesperson must have had me down as a pushover. I spoke to my friend who is a solictar he went on about windows plumb and Victorian houses trading standards and basically saying they should have done a reasonable installation. Meanwhile it is now 3 weeks later and the manager in Pontypool has also seen house Apparently the new window and door have been ordered So will watch this space and give update The upshot is the quality is no where near the quality of the Sureseal windows The hardware fittings for similar style windows are miles apart and the look off the windows Sureseal were also much cheaper in comparison As for the Safestyle installers it is luck off the draw many off them are no doubt good and if people are not paying for the entire job ( apart from deposit) on completion then they have choice to pay balance or not and if people have signed a contract for monthly payments Safestyle have them over a barrel should the quick as a flash couldn't care less team turn up. The trust pilot reviews I have reviewed their reviews and it says false negative reviews are removed and false positive ones are not so that explains it. So in conclusion it is best to take he trust pilot reviews with a pinch of salt. I will be doing trust pilot review at the end off this story.

A disaster, I would not recommend them based on my experience. They measured BOTH windows wrong, and then a lack of checking before installation was attempted, meant that BOTH our old windows were removed destructively and the new ones are too narrow for the space. We’ve been left with a complete mess, and a temporary installation which is far from weather tight, and now have to wait for them to be remade. It’s far from ideal, and the windows themselves aren’t seeming good quality at all. Shocked that they are a big company, as they seem like cowboys very sadly. Really upset. Have been saving for years to get this done, it’s really unacceptable!

Absolute worst company, avoid. The surveyor took the wrong dimensions for one one window to start with. Two guys came and worked for 2 days to fit the remaining windows a month ago but broke the surrounding wall. We are left with no window sills, broken parts of wall, cold air entering the house through gaps and scaffolding that they put up 4 months ago. We are calling them constantly and still do not have our work finished. Do not use this company

Had front door fitted five years ago which is now faulty with the varnish all peeling off Have now been waiting a year for an engineer to come and replace it. They have cancelled three times on me already. Excuses include the engineer crashed the van and the engineer had a family crisis! When you request to speak to a manager to complain, they avoid you at all costs! And they never call you to inform you there is a problem on installation day This is the most unprofessional company ever who shows zero empathy for the upset caused, not to mention hours waiting in for the engineer to arrive or hours on the phone to get through to someone. If I could I would have given a minus rating. The front door was incredibly expensive.Once they have your money they wash their hands of you. Avoid at all costs and don't waste your money or time. At present I am still waiting for a manager to call me to sort this mess out but she decided to go home early rather than call me

Absolute shocking company to deal with! They installed my windows and door with a loose handle. Within a week of the door being installed the paint on my window ledges started flaking off, also the beading on my door started edging away. Made a complaint and I've had to wait 12 weeks for a new appointment to be granted. Engineer on the day for some reason turns up at my billing address instead of my installation address! Then doesn't have the decency to call me back to tell he isn't coming at all due the address discrepancy caused by this company themselves! I've now been told the next available appointment is the 19th October which is another 3 weeks away! Absolutely disgraceful the way this company conducts themselves on the phone and no understanding or compassion for the inconvenience and stress caused by the failings they made on their part. Their shoddy workmanship and poor quality of product for the money I paid is a rip off! Wouldn't even recommend them to my worst enemy!
