“Insurance as good as can be expected. when I take the compulsory excess payment into account I have NO COVER on my car should it be damaged by vandals, theft, or fire. Had to accept insurance for less than the cost I made for the car. To be realistic it gives me LEGAL insurance to be on the road and nothing more.”

“We have two cars and have been with Saga at different times for many years. We have found the service provided excellent particularly when our son visited from Canada and for very reasonable fee they insured him on my wife's car for his holiday in UK.”

“Found them to be very helpful they did no pressure sales what you wanted you got. I had rac cover but they could get it cheaper included it in my premium saved me more money. Hopefully they do the same this year.”

“No trouble so far and excellent customer service when I had to make a claim. Car replacement was delivered to me and my car was taken in for repair at the same time. Repair which was quite substantial took about 7 working days and was returned to me and the hire car taken back at the same time. I did not have to travel anywhere or do anything as everything was taken care of from my address. Saga were one of the cheapest quotes but I am very impressed with the service so far. You do have to be over 50 to apply though. I just hope they do not increase the premium too much when next renewal comes around but time will tell. I would recommend Saga car insurance to anyone over 50 based on my customer service experience with them so far.”

“The only problem I had was, with buying car insurance online, I did not get paper verication. So when buying house insurance from Saga, I did it over the phone. Then I did get the paperwork sent through the post. On renewal date, I will do both policies over the phone from now on.”

“unfortunately my husband had a n accident which was his fault, he phoned saga and everything was dealt with on the phone with no hassle whatever, no forms to fill in and the saga person could not have been more friendly and helpful, all together a very positive experience, also i recently added my son in law onto our insurance for a week, this also was so easy, and all done on the phone, well done saga.”
