This is Saga car insurance services. Always amazing service. Now sadly not. Took several days of trying to get through n the phone and by chat! Got through by calling at 8.30 am prompt but still took nearly 10 mins to get answered. Something has gone very sadly wrong at this Saga service😔. As for how i communicated; well, as said it took several days.

Been with them for years Over doubled the cost on renewal. Despite no claims. Had to look elsewhere.

sent me a renewal price £286 from 2023 to £716 for 2024 a differance of £430, and they are supposed to support old people

Horrible intimidating home insurance issue, Premium increased by 50%, couldn’t get hold of them on phone to discuss. Sent e mail, no reply. Cancelled direct debit. Saga think it’s then okay for them to start a new policy , with no mandate and charge for it, Having the worst time getting the invoice cancelled as I insured elsewhere. Complaints department didn’t reply in time scale, and they claim they called and i hung up, utter disgraceful treatment for an anxious pensioner, over £89, which I will never pay. emails one reply to, just go to the bottom of the queue, pathetic

"I do not want to judge SAGa prematurely. They are currently dealing with my compaint that they employed sharp practice to co-ercing my mentally impaired wife to sign her acceptance that our claim relating to water seepage did notb have merit."

"When I looked at my online paperwork at saga after buying my insurance through go compare it said I bought my car in 2020, I had actually just bought my car in 2023, when I told saga of this error they charged me another \u00a3270+ on top of my original quote, apparently the underwriters said this extortionate rate was for the so called error, disappointed to say the least."

"I have been waiting for a refund since January 2022. They gave the runaround but still haven\u2019t refunded me the difference between what I had paid and what the policy actually cost. Difference of approximately \u00a365.00.l have two cars insured with them and will be thinking seriously about the renewal."

"Took 5 days to actually speak to someone. On hold for over 1 h 39 mins then gave up each time.This was an admitted 3 party fault. The 3td party had their car repaired and returned before I had any acknowledgement from Saga.\r\n. Still no correspondence ref my access that should be paid thy 3rd party. No return of emails with7 outstanding. Great until you need them."

Insurance website was disappointing, price was not as competitive by the time you actually buy and changing options seems to increase the cost even if you go back to a previous option.

Saga existing claims line unable to be answered; a member of staff eventually takes your number and says"we are extremely busy and we will ring back between 24 -48 hours"! Marvelous service as it will also be anytime between 9 AM and 5PM.

Renewed overpriced home insurance for 2 years on year 3 I found cheaper insurer. Saga billed me for £30.00 saying they gave me extra weeks cover

Try cancelling my old house insurance told will have to get a person to ring me back. Have a new insurance with other companie told the lady i do not need to renew my old one.would not accept my request as the new policy £94.00 cheaper and no administration fee £25.00 that their trying to charge me.still no one has rang me to explain the reason I cannot cancel my renewal policy.
