The packaging is so cute and the service was impeccable. I also can't wait to have more snacks and delicacies in the future. This month's box (June) was full of orange treats, one of my favourite flavours. I am so excited for the future boxes as we transition into the summer season!

Our Sakura Co boxes are the highlight of our month. It’s always so much fun to experience a small part of a different culture through each of the boxes.

It is lovely to test out all the great snacks and that is usually comes with a cup or plate. That being said, you only get enough tea for two people to have one small cup and it is very pricey. I also was unaware that it is a recurring subscription, we paid over $200 for 3 months and then it auto renewed and they refused to reimburse us. It is very expensive for what you get. Also, over those three months there were repeat snacks in the boxes. I would get one box, but certainly not something I would want long term, but I am stuck with 6 months of it... Had the company offered to assist with reimbursement of the remaining 3 months (orders we had not received yet) I would have upped the review to 3 or 4 stars. Also, the snacks are all pretty similar to one another and not as diverse as I was expecting and is what I would expect to get out of a vending machine or a prepackaged snack you would find at a local Asian market for much cheaper. Also, a lot of the items come crushed to a pulp in the box, but still edible. Too expensive for what you get.

This is a great amount of treats for the price, snd a few things I’ve never had before. My only issue is with the meager amount of packaging for shipping…my box arrived with one corner and a bit crushed, and it looked as though the box had sat in something wet between Japan and here. Nothing was damaged, but it was a little alarming. I’m very much looking forward to the next box, and I’ve enjoyed everything in the June box.

Overall pretty good but have to agree with other reviews that the box isn’t cheap. With shipping it’s almost US$50 per box, and most of the snacks, while tasty, aren’t anything dissimilar to what you can find in Asian supermarkets in North America. For the May box the special snack was the puffer fish, but the air-filled plastic bag wasn’t enough to protect it and there was no extra cushioning whatsoever so it came crushed into many pieces and it was quite disappointing. The info booklet was a nice touch and pleasant surprise, and there were two extra snacks from the April box included. I like the box and the marketing and packaging are beautiful, but on the fence because of cost and not sure if I would continue to subscribe once my current one is up.

i was staying in Japan from 2014 to early 2018. when i have to go back home for good on 2018, i was giving a visit to japan at least once a year ever since. my last visit was on January 2020 for celebrating the New Year. Due to the pandemic, travel to Japan for no reason is something impossible to do. However, with this Sakuraco box knocking to my door, it is really bring me the essence of Japan as a precious omiyage. I live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia and it reach me home exactly as mentioned on the scheduled tracker, safely and securely. Thanks sakuraco. Look forward to the next box, tanoshimiii!!!!

A really diverse range of snacks and tea so far. I've had two boxes so far, one themed around matcha, the other around Sakura. Both were delicious.

Love this box!! I shared this with my brother who went to Japan a couple of years ago and he kept saying he missed the sweets. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try some traditional snacks and tea. I also like how the snacks come from different prefectures in Japan. Will try another box!!!

Great monthly box for authentic traditional Japanese snacks and sweets! Sakuraco not only has nice variety of seasonal flavors, but all the sweets/snacks are made by Japanese local makers so you know you're getting a truly unique tasting experience! Also each month includes a lovely home goods piece! Delivery is always so fast and includes tracking so you always know where it is and when to expect it and they always wrap your box in bubble wrap to help keep your goods safe which is definitely a plus! Definitely recommend giving Sakuraco a try!🍡🍵🤗

This is my 3rd box and a crack or squish to an item is not a big deal. They try their best to pack it in and bubble wrap the box so minimal damage. Pricing is a little more than I would have liked to spend but I figure I'm not travelling anyways so this is a nice treat. I was disappointed with the May box. I was really looking forward to experience the Fukuruko Shiruko but it came in pieces, and there was water damage on the bottom left side of the box that has turned into a small hole. I just messaged and sent images to CS so will see what they can do about the issue.

This is my second box and I’m in love!! Unfortunately my Fukuruko Shiruko was broken, but it did ship from Japan to Canada, stuff happens!! I love learning from the book, and the treats are always so lovely!

Our experience has been terrible from start to finish. The first box came and some of the packaging was damaged. The second box came and one of the items was crushed but still edible. The third box came and one of the items burst and covered all the other items in jelly. Two of the items were ruined and the rest needed to be hand washed in order for us to try them. We reached out to customer service and they told us to order more boxes and then they would add two items to the next box. We told them we would not be ordering more boxes but would like the two ruined items from the 3rd box replaced. They offered us $3 in store credit. We pointed out that this would not even cover the two items on their store much less if we included shipping. So their final offer to make things right was to give us a $2.95 refund. This is insulting. They clearly have no intent on making any kind of good faith effort to make this right. If you are considering a Japan snack box try https://www.bokksu.com/ I can't speak to their quality but they can't be worse than Sakuraco.

It's amazing Japanese treats. Knowing that I'll never be able to afford going to Japan, this allows me and my sister enjoy the delicacy of Japan. I can't wait to experience a new flavor each month

Such a detailed and beautiful monthly subscription box. I saw this advertised on my Instagram and was immediately drawn to it. The shipping was fast and the goodies inside were too hard to resist. I love that I have received this and recommend anyone who loves Japanese culture to buy it ^^

Getting a Sakuraco box was definitely a bundle of happiness! Me and my long distance boyfriend each bought a box and it was a very nice experience opening it together. We got the Sakuraco’s May box (Mochi & Sakura Tasting Tour), which was nicely packaged. It came with an informational booklet on all the snacks and extra information on which snacks would go well together. It was a perfect addition to the box! For me there were some things I enjoyed more than others but overall the experience of trying something new with someone I love is more rewarding. As mentioned in other reviews some snacks can come broken but I’m sure over time the Sakuraco team will find a perfect solution to address this. If you get discouraged from looking at the price, I recommend weighing whether or not you like the snacks in the upcoming box first. Especially for me, since living in Canada the exchange rate for the price can really rise. In the end I chose to buy the box because it’s a new experience and I don’t really get to see much of these selections in Canada. And to note delivery was definitely fast for being shipped from Japan to Canada. So overall if you love to try new snacks and want to experience a bit of Japanese culture, I recommend buying a box!

The snacks look wonderful and can be easily shared with family for a tea time party. It even tells you the allergens and if it is vegetarian friendly in the bookloot!!!
