“I'd have a great experience with Sakuraco. They have a good customer service, the delivery was each time more faster. And of course the price is just enough for the products they offer. Thanks Sakuraco for this pleasant experience.”
“I love my Sakuraco box and am always looking forward to the next month's box! The shipping time for the boxes rivals even domestic shipping, which is impressive since it is coming from halfway around the world! I love the products, there is a great variety of traditional tea time treats that range from cookies, cakes, crackers, candies, pudding, tea and one homeware item. I would recommend this box to anyone who enjoys learning about Japanese culture and/or loves tea time.”
“I love this box! I used to live in Japan and I really miss trying all the new and unique snacks that are available in the small towns as well as in the big cities. Shipping was not included but it was very fast, only taking 4 days from Tokyo to LA! Some of my favorite snacks in this month's May box are the sakura sencha tea, sakura sable cookie, and the sakura mini baumkuchen. The cake is so moist and I loved it with the iced sakura sencha tea! Perfect on a hot summer day 🍵💕”
“Great value for the price! All the snacks are delicious as is the tea. Be warned some of the more delicate snacks may not be picture perfect upon arrival. Other than that I would say this box is near perfect!”
“The shipping and the items are amazing! Fast and very authentic. I already made an year subscription.
But sadly a lot of items come broken. Like cookies, waffles etc... Maybe you could make a safer packaging. But for the rest it's truly amazing 💕”
“Extremely fast shipping. Great assortment of unique Japanese treats that can’t be found in USA. I was so happy to see a hojicha treat in this month’s box!”
“Beautiful packaging with a lovely variety of sweets. I love the sheer amount of items in this box and they're definitely items I wouldn't be able to find on my own.”
“This box was absolutely wonderful!! The only problem was that the Fukuruko Shiruko was in pieces, and there was water damage on the bottom right side that has turned into a small hole. I hope they find solutions to these, otherwise it was great!!”
“These boxes are full delicious treats and tea. The little dish in each box is pretty and charming. The boxes each have a wonderful theme and a book describing each item. The book also highlights a treat and some aspect of Japan. The treats in the boxes are well thought out and balance each other nicely with a blend of baked goods, crispy crackers and biscuits, mochi monaka, and more. The treats compliment each other in texture and sweetness.
My friends and family also subscribe to Sakuraco and we enjoy tea together over FaceTime. It is a great way to be together when far apart.”
“I enjoy this service a lot! It’s fun seeing new treats and trying new things - some I didn’t even knew existed - every month. However, all three of my boxes have been delivered with broken food items 😔 Crepes and fukuruko shiruko aren’t as fun to experience as crumbs. I’m sure the items don’t leave them that way, but I hope they can find a solution!
Overall, this is definitely something I look forward to every month. The treats have been delicious. The postcards are beautiful and the booklets are cute and informative. I really appreciate the added culture/history sections too!”
“Just got my 3rd box! Sakuraco was my first subscription box and I have no regrets. Every box has been so beautifully packed and consistent in quality. I appreciate how a little booklet is included with each box to describe the treats included. I also love the table items so that I have something to keep enjoying after I finish my treats. The staff have been quick to respond and helpful with any questions I had.”
“It’s pricey but the box reflects what you pay for!
Absolutely loads of sweets inside, a full colour plush looking booklet with little write ups on all the items and some very interesting information about prefectures and national holidays, a sweet little traditional print with a message from the sakura-co team on the back and a cute little rice bowl with Sakura print.
The shipping was timely and with no customs to pay! I was a little worried it would get stuck seeing as I’m in the UK and the box came from japan. (Which I was shocked about! I assumed it would come via America honestly)
I’m very impressed with the box! I’ve had Tokyo treats before now and had gotten bored with the sweets. I think perhaps I’d outgrown it as I’m much less interested in anime these days.
As I write this the box for next month hasn’t been announced but I’m very excited to see what it could be!!
If you’re on the fence with buying and have a little extra cash around at the moment I’d go for it. I’m not disappointed in any way.”
