“I just received my first box! I was excited about the theme because on my last trip to Japan 2016) my final stop was in Yokohama where I had a wonderful stay with a lovely host. The box has brought back happy memories. I’m enjoying reading the booklet with information about Yokohama and the contents of the box. Today I tried Kyoho grape jelly which had a delicate flavour- ‘oishi’! I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the box. I like the way there are 2 each of the smaller items so it will be easier to share. As I’m vegetarian there are two items that I can’t have, which is a shame. Although they won’t be wasted, as my husband will be happy to try them. I’m very happy with the Yokohama tea time box and look forward to next month’s delivery!”
“I truly love this service its so fun! The snacks are great and even the ones that aren’t necessarily to my taste are interesting and fun to learn about. It can be a little pricey but the excitement of each months box and the fun of opening it with a friend more then makes up for it!”
“It’s exciting to receive a Sakuraco box, knowing that the handpicked items are truly delectable. I like the themed box, and even the little booklet inside allows me to discover more of Japan’s history and culture.”
“Loved the box of goodies. 45$ & 3 weeks later but worth the wait just wish the bowl was glass instead of plastic. Totally worth it tho!!

“Their presentation was really good. The food was very tasty, their packing was also very efficient ;I mean even after eating half of the box I still couldn’t pack it back.Loved it.”
“Just received our first Sakuraco box today. I was a little doubtful before its arrival that we would find it interesting enough to keep it up. But it is a thoughtfully presented, delicious, stunning and amazing box of snacks!!! A bag of milk bell castellas came (along with many other items) and I haven't had those in years. They are a nostalgic favorite. With the local ingredients the castellas that arrived have surpassed my childhood favorites 1000x. The box included a few mini chocolate doryaki which is perfect for introducing my son to Japanese treats, because he really liked those. We ate those as soon as we opened the box. The booklet it comes with lists allergens and reminds us these snacks are very local, coming from different prefectures and the care that is put into the preparation of these snacks.”
“Repetitive items. You will get similar items each month but a different flavour. Automatic renewals that they refuse to refund. I had no idea it automatically renews for another 6 months. They do not send any emails or communicate that it is a recurring subscription. I was under the impression it was a one-time subscription. I contacted customer support and they were useless.
I've lived in Japan and the box is way overpriced for the items you get. It's cheaper to buy it from a different website or a local Asian grocery store.”
“I ordered my first Sakuraco box, and it was a delightful surprise. Apart from having mini treats that can be shared with a loved one (since there are 2 of each), there are larger items which can still be shared. Loved the mini ceramic plate - really sweet. Each thing coming out of the box felt like a Mary Poppins scene :) As if things never stop coming out :) :) I absolutely loved it!!”
