“The Matcha and Mochi box was delicious. The many snacks infused with matcha are delightful. The sencha teabags are fragrant and light and quite refreshing. What a great idea to subscribe to a box of snacks to promote your country’s cuisine and culture. Wish other countries would do the same.”
“price is perfect range for what you receive! delivery is always quick and timely each month. the overall service is amazing and every box is a surprise and great treat! i’m elated to receive it every month and find myself just counting down the days until it arrives! i highly recommend Sakuraco to anyone and everyone!”
“I love getting my box every month. I am never disappointed!!! I would recommend this box. Always surprised at what comes in the box. It's a fun box that I enjoy sharing with my family and friends. I especially love the daifuku, always delicious, pairs well with tea.”
“This was my first box from Sakuraco. I had been following their on Instagram and newsletters for a few months before deciding to try it and I was NOT disappointed. I was blown away by how beautifully everything was packaged, the quality of items in my box and was also not expecting the beautiful booklet that accompanied the box, describing everything within as well as some facts about Japan and the places these treats were made. Just wonderful and I will DEFINTELY be getting this box again!”
“Exquisite Japanese Experience in a Box! This was my first experience trying SakuraCo's montly subscription box- and I was super happy and excited to recieve it! It came in the mail super quick, and in the box there were items for everyone. This month's theme was Matcha and Mochi, in it there was everything from tea to candy, bread, crackers, and even your own set of chopsticks. It comes with a snack guide that also is a tour guide for you for where the item comes from and what it's made out of. My favorite was this matcha cake, and my boyfriend loved the matcha cream daifuku little mochi candies. I totally recommend this to an adventurous person who loves snacking and Japan!”
“So my mom ia in the hospital, I'm looking for work. I completely forgot to remove auto renewal because of this. I contact them and inform them amd even offer to pay for one month. They flat out tell me nothing can be done. No changes, nothing. I can't afford the 6 month plan and they care little. Mia, replied to my first message, since than I have been ignored. I will be asking my credit card company to dispute the charge and requesting a refund through PayPal. They simply do not care and thus this makes them a horrible company to do business with with that type of customer service.”
“Matcha & Mochi is a great box. A wide variety of treats, yet still on theme. Arare are distinctive, esp. burdock & it's nice that several snacks are in larger bags. Baumkuchen is a staple in the boxes as are the jellies, apricot a new flavor. Like others, I have a growing collection of chopsticks, oh well, but I like to travel with them to avoid being part of use-and-toss syndrome. I like to choose my boxes, so was not happy to recently learn that only monthly plan allows you to skip a month; hope Sakuraco rethinks this. This, plus dropping DHL & new much slower shipping are making me look for other sources ofJapanese snacks, but Sakuraco certainly does a beautiful job. Let's just hope prices hold.”
“I'm 2 months into my subscription and I'm loving it. The treats are all tasty, the info about everything is insightful and the emailed info is cool too. I only got a 6 month subscription but I'm sure I'll extend it another 6 months. It's worth it.”
“I recently moved to Scotland where there isn't much Japanese influence. Sakuraco is a lifeline; a monthly memento of the flavours and nuances of home.”
“First Sakura box. I liked the booklet with the info on the treats. Not much of a fan of sweets but I love Ceremonial grade Matcha Tea, and the other snacks were great. I fell in love with the Uji Green tea bread and the buttery taste of the Nashio Matcha Pie. I'M excited for the next box.”
