SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. “we received the camera a couple weeks ago. Manual and videos were very helpful. We are still learning how to adjust the settings and hoping for some better nights of sleep.”

“This has been an amazing help. My 12 year old son has infrequent nighttime seizures which can cause his oxygen levels to go below 65% and require rescue meds or an EMT visit. His older brother who shares a room with him was not sleeping well because he was worried he would miss alerting us to a seizure. With the SAMi, we have peace of mind and my older son can sleep soundly again. It also helps me monitor how long it takes my younger son to fall asleep, as sleep deprivation is a seizure trigger. So if I notice it’s taking him longer than 30 minutes to fall asleep, I can bring him his sleep meds.”

“Peace of mind!!!! I tried so many “baby monitors” in place of this and it just did not work. This device has helped me get a better night sleep knowing my daughter will be closely watch by this monitor and alert me if she has any medical needs.”

“I’ve been using this camera after my little one had a febrile seizure. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that I’ll be alerted if anything happens overnight while we’re sleeping. I’ve used the app mainly on my tablet so it’s a larger screen and louder alerts. However, my phone app works fine too in a pinch. So glad to have found this!”

“SAMi has given us peace of mind at night. We were taking turns sleeping (if you want to call it sleeping) with our child with epilepsy. This monitor enables us to sleep in our own bed and getting good nights sleep, knowing that it will alert us to any movement. “My son has nocturnal seizures that can be tough to detect. The Sami records and catches when he has laughing seizures, and even some staring spells. It gives me peace of mind to have recordings to show his neurologist as well as alarms so I can intervene. I’ve recommended it to so many parents of children with epilepsy.”
