SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. SAMi will not only reliably alert you to abnormal movement, but automatically records high quality video and audio of the event, providing invaluable video evidence for Neurologists, Epileptologists, and other Healthcare providers to accurately diagnose and prescribe effective treatment plans. “My camera was working great and then all of a sudden stopped. So I contacted SAMi and I just need to RAVE about how great Matt’s customer service was! He took a late night phone call to try and sort it out but after we couldn’t get it going, he sent me a new one right away and has just been so much help! I love the SAMi monitor and the peace it gives me at night! I highly recommend this system and cannot explain to you how great the customer service is!”

“There are no words for the peace of mind this system has provided. Before SAMI the anxiety I felt prevented me from getting sleep. I was so worried my daughter would have a seizure and something bad would happen and I wouldn't know. Now I know that SAMI will wake me. And being able to see her and hear her when I'm another room is PRICELESS”

“I bought the entire set so it can also travel with my grandson. I bought it for my daughters family as her son had a severe seizure. They are very happy with it thus far. It has eased her stress so she can sleep knowing he’s being watched. Thank you for providing a great product.”

“Super impressed! So easy to set up and use, even with my minimal tech skills. Best sleep in well over a year, since my son's first seizure. Such a game changer for me, especially as a single parent. The lights don't bother my kiddo, like the ones on a traditional camera I had tried. He doesn't notice it's there, and I get wonderful calm and peaceful nights. Thanks SAMi! Y'all are awesome!”

“We absolutely LOVE the SAMI camera. It was obviously designed with care. I have slept so much more soundly in the past 2 weeks I've owned this than I have in months. The first night with SAMi we had a few false alarms, but that was no problem because I could sleep better knowing that the system would alert us if necessary. And after making some adjustments, we get almost no false alarms. Now that I see this camera in action, I am SO glad we chose this option over any other device. I love that it shows a recorded history of any movement throughout the night, so you can review it in the morning and make sure you didn't miss a medical event. I'm so grateful for this device and highly recommend it.”

“SAMi has been an amazing addition to our home because it gives us peace of mind that we couldn’t get before. SAMi has done a great job alerting us to movement while our daughter is sleeping, which has allowed us to catch seizures that we wouldn’t have caught otherwise, which allowed us to intervene and help her. It’s also allowed us to get more sleep, knowing she’s being monitored. Extra sleep is hard to come by in our household and is extremely valuable. Customer service has been impeccable and we’re grateful for the whole team and all that they do.”

“Seizures can be difficult to recognize by machines. The different kinds don't look like each other, don't feel like each other. Most focus on certain types of movement; muscle clenching, thrashing, the larger the movement the easier it is for a machine to recognize. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for more than a small segment of the population. SAMi focuses on movement, but brings a nice balance between constant alarms when your loved one turns over and missing out on quieter seizures. It has a 'movement monitor' which glows red following changing movements. This can include opening eyes. The alarm intensity is customizable and can be turned on and off during certain hours. It includes customizable sound which on the high end can pick up turning over, changing breath, and quiet rustling at a level which can wake up the caregiver (YMMV). It also records video of small movements and changes, so caregivers can browse through to see absence or atypical seizures in the middle of the night. Movements of interest can be locked and emailed to you or a physician.”

“We love our SaMi. It has brought a lot of peace of mind in our home. Ever since we received it we installed it which was so easy and self-explanatory. The customer service has been great even though I would have loved it if we had been able to have a call, too it gets the job done faster than all the back-and-forth emails. What I love the most is being notified with every movement even though we get false alarms but also being able to look though past recordings, and save the ones are important like the ones with a seizure or an odd movement. Thank you SaMi team for bringing peace of mind into our home!”

“I'm still learning the quirks but it alerts me for movement. Just make sure to use it consistently because my daughter was sleeping with me for a while and when she finally slept in her room again I had to reinstall it and connect it to wifi”

“Our daughter's condition has a high prevalence of seizures yet she's been fortunate enough to not have experienced them as of today. We keep a close on her during the day, and at night by co-sleeping. Having the SAMi watch over our daughter provides an additional layer of comfort for us being able to monitor her movements and sleep patterns to evaluate if seizures were present. Traditional cameras do not provide the added benefits of the SAMi in these sensitive situations.”
