Terrible. Took money. Failed.to fix sofa issue. Failed to collect faulty sofa, failed to refund money. Complete failure of a company top to bottom. Nightmare to deal with. Passed from piller to post.

A year after paying for a heavy duty carpet we have holes in it! Contacted scs who said it was down to toes touching the carpets on the stairs and that it was because we were walking on it. Erm yes.....it's a carpet. Now fast forwards a year and we have holes on most of the backs of the stairs and in the living room. £900 for a carpet not fit for purpose!

Only had sofas 6 weeks and although i appreciate i didnt pay the upgrade for the cushions, i dont believe they are fit for purpose. Both my husband and i work full time so hardly home yet the cushions have already become very flatened and when you sit on them they feel flat and bumpy. Courier was great but thats the only good thing i have to say for scs. Very didappointed with our purchase and will not shop there again or recommend them.

Had a three seater and two seater we took out the extra guarantee which cost an extra £249, when one of the settees started to fray contacted SCS insurance cover who said it wasn't covered as it was a fault in the material so I contacted SCS who told me I needed to pay another £75 for them to send a technician out as I had just had it over 2 years to see if it was through how we sit on our leather settees or if they decide it is a fault on there behalf I have refused to pay this as they would only make up some excuse when they come out we have now noticed the seat cushion on the other settee has started to go the same we will never buy from this company again because once they have your money there customer service skills do not exist.

Ordered a corner sofa which was delivered in 3 pieces for assembly. All 3 pieces damaged or faulty on some way. Most likely due to poor handling made worse by inadequate packaging. Never experienced such poor quality in a sofa purchase before. Sofa immediately rejected for a refund. Will never buy from SCS again.

Suite ordered in January 2018. Third suite - about 3 months wait! - delivered but with faults. Three failed attempts to repair. Technicians suggested this not unusual. After a final promise to repair within 3 weeks, now told it can't be repaired, so refund offered!!!!! Oh well, only took 9 months to get back to stage 0! Avoid this company, unless you really like calling "customer service" who will laugh at you. Presumably because you were stupid enough to buy something from them. Do yourself a favour and walk by the store.

Appalling service the giltbrook store kept promising to sort it out but nobody contacts you. When you ring them they put you on hold and then put the phone down, then don't answer the phone. So fed up

Sofa delivered broken. Supposed to be a 6-8 week wait for replacement but that has been delayed for another 4 weeks not that scs let me know. After many phone calls and emails I discover it’s because the sofa supplier went into administration. Huge mistake choosing scs. Avoid!

Bought two leather sofas , had them 16 months ,there delivery is rubbish as is there products is the same about to take legal action

Do not buy from sofas from this company you have to say your taking them to small claims court before they finally give money back but not cash it has to be on debit card be ready to make phone call after phone call as they never return calls .

Ordered sofa and chair in March all the same colour and fabric, chair was incorrect colour. They have tried to deliver our chair three times but every time it is the wrong colour. Company have no intentions to resolve the matter, my options are to get a refund and send the items back. Time and money wasted. Never dealt with such a poor company who do not care about their customers and retaining business. Worst experience ever

most horrific service we have ever received...ordered sofa 11 weeks ago and they have made our sofa in the wrong colour twice. we still have no response on why or how this has happened....awaiting for a third time! have been left for 11 weeks with no sofa and sitting on the floor... NEVER NEVER USE SCS....AWFUL HOW THEY HAVE GOOD REVIEWS IS BEYOND ME!!!!!! WOULDNT EVEN RATE THEM 1%

We have not yet had our order delivered but we allready regret ever going to ScS in Harlow , to all our family and disabled friends avoid this store ,my Wife and her sister went to this store where they were served by Sue who we now know to be the store manager , when we returned to the store yesterday the 18th Sept Sue was not available , my wife paid in full for the goods , but what Sue did not tell my wife was that she was charging her £200 for insurance on one order and £75 on the other order and also another £ 50 for a care kit that She did not ask for or want , shame on Sue and ScS for employing a person who would treat a 81 year old disabled person in this manner the sooner stores like ScS are of the high street the better

Have you ever tried cancelling a carpet order with SCS? Online you can cancel up to the day of fitting. If you buy in-store they want a 25% order value payment to release them from the contract. Twaddle of the highest order. 1, I was buying a house and took the particulars to buy carpet, so a survey is not done yet, so from their own site, they cannot cut any carpet yet. 2, The seller of the house pulled out (so not my fault) yet they still want 25% of the order value. What for exactly? I'm not resting until I get my money back. Can't put zero stars on my review unfortunately.

Never again. Brought white leather sofas this Jan, wasn’t told ifdye transferwhat to use. Told to get the insurance. Been away so didn’t actually sit on it till may this year and dye has come onto leather three months I have had this sofa. Called manager at Basildon branch and she really didn’t care, told me to call insurance, so we did and three people sent out and still the same, called them and they said I would here. Not letting this go. Disgusting have spend thousands there and this is the response. Think twice before purchasing.

We bought laminate flooring 2 years ago and we are still waiting for the job to finished properly as the first floor failed, went to SCS and they didn't want to know. We still don't have a fully laid kitchen floor. The fitter they told us to use keeps promising to come back but never does.

Bought leather Bocelli sofa and within 3 months back cushions flattened and out of shape. Customer service guy called (who was very ignorant by the way) and wouldn't accept any responsibility, saying they needed 'plumping' daily.... absolute rubbish ok it they were feather but they were not!!! Would NEVER buy from this shower again!

Having already purchased hall stair landing carpets also bedroom carpet which by the way the wrong one was put down we did say we'd accept it as we didn't want to create a fuss. However we then ordered a living room carpet to match hall stairs etc.. Fitting was delayed by two weeks, it was fitted on the Saturday then on the Sunspday we noticed a stain. We got in touch with SCS on the Monday and was told we had to ring a different number which they then proceeded to give me a duff number. Managed to get the number but still no answe. Eventually got through and told them I'd send some photos which I did on the Friday... Now they've sent a text to say we should have complained within 72 hours and to get the carpet cleaned!!! So annoyed.... It won't stop here!! Certainly won't be buying from them again!!

I bought a dining table and chairs from scs which had a problem. I had to fix the legs on the table and 3 went on fine but I couldn’t get one on as the screw wouldn’t go into the thread. I phoned their customer service as the shop didn’t want to know. I have had no reply from them and eventually had to pay someone to fix it for me. Absolulety terrible service and I will never buy anything from again.

The Service aftercare is disgusting you spend short of 2000 my furniture is 7month old and naked all there say we ll repair it NEVER EVER BUY FROM SCS AGAIN HOPE THERE GO BUST
