Previously posted that scs had failed to deliver on agreed date of 28th February 2022 Checked this morning and date put back to 04th April and 3 hours later find now 11th April with no notice from scs or reason Trued to contact them for refund but they now refuse to answer or stay on contact

Bought sofas in 2017 3 and a half year later they are dreadful would have expected them to last longer cannot even sell them in this state and they weren't cheap my parents have git sifa they have had for 20 odd years that look far better than these obviously better quality than the ones we bought

Ordered suite late November 2021 with expected delivery 28 February 2022. Since due date nothing but delays in getting suite from supplier with no one at SCS customer service doing anything to address the issues except stating the obvious that delivery is repeatedly put back. Ordered and paid in good faith of agrees delivery but this means nothing to faceless customer service representative who do nothing to address your grievance

The WORSE customer service from any company I have ever purchased from. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! Ordered our carpets in October for delivery and fitting in January for new house, carpets were never ordered in time so there was a 3 week delay in fitting. Held up other furniture deliveries etc. Offered a £100 good will gesture refund. 7 weeks later, still no refund and now refusing to speak on the customer service line.

I recently informed the readers of my problems with a £3500.00 Lazy Boy suite purchased from SCS who sell mostly Lazy Boy furniture, I have received a full refund and hope the tips below will help you do the same: 1) Your furniture will probably take up to 6 months for you to get it as it seems that everything is now made in China, but query that with the salesperson. 2) Pay the least amount of deposit as possible. 3) Pay only with a credit card as your provider is just as responsible for refunding you as SCS in the case of faulty goods. 4) An SCS technician will definitely try to fob you off with "wishy washy" reasons why there is not a fault if so do not hesitate in getting an independent inspection done. In my case this was not needed because SCS conceded there was a fault after trying to deny it after their own inspection but it would have only cost me £130.00 and you can reclaim this back if the independent report is in your favour, which it probably will be. Ignore any attempts to have repairs done or a replacement given once you have the support of an independent report in your favour. 5) If the goods are not fit for purpose and you want a full refund but are beyond the 30 day limit after receiving the same apply to your credit card Bank for " Chargeback " as this is valid for 120 days as opposed to the 30 day limit set by SCS in the case of faulty goods. You will still need an independent report to help you with a "Chargeback " claim. 6) If the aforementioned fails go straight to the Small Claims Court and I can assure you that if you have a supported case SCS will settle with you and your Court costs before the hearing date. Hope this helps.

Self destructing furniture do not buy anything from this company nothing but disappointment appalling customer service.Again DO NOT THATS DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE GRIEF

Lazyboy sofa faulty nightmare SCS are hard work don’t buy if you want Quality and customer service They will not rectify faulty goods you buy from them even if you have independent report that says it’s faulty

Furniture insurance and warranty on a lazyboy sofa was a complete waste of money with SCS. Reclining function not working properly and following an engineer visit told not a manufacturer fault so they aren't considering the claim ?!?! Surely if it was a manufacturer fault it would be covered by a warranty anyway? Sofa isn't even 2 years old. Dog chewed through a cable....ACCIDENT...not covered but accidental cover is included. GO FIGURE! Don't waste you're money on this extra it doesn't cover anything.

Still waiting for sofas which were ordered 5 months ago , they now have emailed us twice changing the date of delivery, partner rang up to ask why they keep rearranging date only to be hung up on twice !!! Terrible customer service!!! Will we ever get them SCS ???!!!!

Worst customer service ever!! Poor quality items. Originally I was sent a sofa and foot stall which were different colours due to being made from different batches of material. Finally got this sorted and a new set delivered, the cushions had collapsed within 2 weeks and the material had split in one back cushion and the top of the foot stall, had someone inspect this and was informed that it was an insurance issue, had the insurance company out who then informed me that this is a manufacturing fault, had scs out again who denies that the splits were from faulty material but ordered new seat cushions as they had very clearly completely collapsed. These new cushions have now collapsed too. I have been promised multiple times over the past year that a manager will call me back to sort this out but I am still waiting!! I have spent hours and hours on the phone and still haven’t spoken to a manager! It had now been over 2 years since I ordered this suite and I am yet to have a matching unbroken product!! Never buying anything from here again! AVOID!!!!!

Fortunately for this company I wont start my review by saying how terrible the service is, I will let my review speak for itself. 1) Bought a 'leather sofa' apparently made in italy. The dye is coming off and it looks like it now needs to go to the tip. Customer after care is appalling and the insurance isn't worth the paper its written on. 2) Had some vinyl fitted in my kitchen and it's now coming away from the floor. The surveyor said 'oh madam you have a major problem with subsidence'. So on reflection of this company who have supplied a £4000 suite which is no longer fit for purpose and also claim that part of my house is falling down. I think it speaks in volumes to a oid at all costs.

Very very disappointing. Ordered £5k of carpets for new house. Complete fiasco on fitting day, they couldnt find the correct door bars, turned up 2 hours late. Ran out of time on the day, so have been left with 6 carpets and fitting materials in the landing, no follow up from them to rebook a fitter , I spent hours contacting and no resolution. I will report this to ombusdman, its an apalling lack of any form of customer service.

Lazy Boy Knoxville leather 2 seater sofa and chair purchased June 21 received November 21. Video in shop misleading by stating the origins of Lazy Boy made in Michigan USA and still are, which had us believing ours was coming from America. NOT TRUE : Member of staff told me the brunt of the Lazy Boy furniture is made in China which explains why it took so long to get to me. If I had been told where it was being manufactured I would not have purchased it and certainly not have paid almost £3500.00 for it. After only 2 month the chair seat cushions sunk and the leather stretched ( more than our previous 14 year old suite had ) later the sofa springs were squeaking and the wooden frame was giving off a cracking noise. We asked for our money back after a technician from SCS was sent out to inspect the furniture as it was not fit for purpose. A report from the technician stated the chair was ok but the fault with the sofa had to be repaired. Not True : It was the fault with the chair that originally gave us reason to complain with the sofa problems occurring later. We received a reply to say that we had to give SCS the right to repair the suite as we had been in possesion of it for more than 30 days. Not True : Read Lazy Boy problem part two. Having read of poor after sales help from SCS I decided to have my own independent inspection done before they did anything and told them so. I booked a date for the independent inspection to take place but it was not necessary as SCS agreed to collect the furniture and give me a full refund which I received today 11/3/22 personally I think that speaks volumes. I would also add that all the review sites for SCS give poor rating except TrustPilot who receive on average 1000 reviews eack week ( if they are genuine ) for SCS which show as 4.5/5, however, if you read them you will note they refer mostly to the delivery drivers and not to the product SCS are selling and poor reviews get swallowed up by the mass of good delivery reviews which I believe is a smokescreen to hide the truth. I was even asked to give feedback to trustpilot by a link after SCS had requested the same regarding the delivery men who took the suite away no mention of what was wrong or anything just how good were they at taking the furniture away, unbelievable !. My recent reviews on this subject have diasappeared into the masses in a matter of days so unless you are prepared to read through hundreds and hundreds of reviews you will never find them. Search under the heading : SCS kidology or Lazy Boy facts. There are 3 parts.

Told my sofas were hard wearing but gave me a aftercare insurance the weave started snapping but they said it was not a manufacturing fault It was accidental damage the insurance said because I said I didn’t Know how it happened it was not covered not worth the paper it was wrote on don’t use SCS or the insurance they give .

Terrible service. Came to measure for a hall/stair carpet then when it came to fitting, they had got the measurements wrong. Took ages to get a correctly sized piece for the hall and the whole thing was fitted badly. Treated with disdain when we asked for remedial work and are still waiting for the fitter to call back. Based on his previous dreadful work, we don't want him. Avoid at all costs.

Do not buy disgraceful after care service, insurance not worth the paper it’s wrote on , told covered accidental damage that’s rubbish had my sofa less than one year told by store manager it was hard wearing but that wasn’t true and when weave started snapping they said it was accidental and passed me to the insurance company who said no don’t cover that, the worst company ever keep well a way.
