The furniture you receive is of very poor quality and to a minimum comfort specification! The furniture you receive WILL NOT be of showroom quality standards. Shop somewhere else if you want furniture that lasts more than five minutes.

not happy with this company , they keep sending a message to say there will be a delay in delivering my sofa , I should have purchased it elsewhere .

Appalling customer service. No communication regarding your order that gets delayed and delayed. Then on day of delivery you hear nothing and when you speak to customer service they hang up on you. Aftercare is no better, part of my order didn't turn up and I have had to argue my case - even when I paid for them. Terrible and wish I had never brought from them.

Do NOT purchase from ScS Do NOT purchase from ScS We ordered a 3x seater and a love chair in the Chelsea range on the 28th December 2021. The manager Sean Bithell at the whitecity branch in Manchester took the details down of our sofa and gave us the delivery date of 25th March 2022. We understand that this is an estimation and in THEIR policy, it states that delivery could be 4 weeks before or after this date. This would mean that we would be expecting it at the very most end of April. We tracked the sofas online only to be told that the date had been forwarded to 4th April, then 11th April and then 23rd May !!! It was our sons first birthday party on the 7th May and as embarrassing as it was for us, we had NO sofas for our elderly guests to sit on. We had to make do with deck chairs. We then get a message to say that these sofas will be delivered on the 30th May. Surprise surprise, 30th May turns up and we get another date for the 6th June. Today is the 6th June, the sofas have finally arrived after 6 months!! But just another thing, the lovechair isn’t what we ordered, it came with no diamontes like we had asked for and it came with silver feet, when we had asked for black. Now I have these two sofas in my living room, that look very odd ! Speaking to the aftercare team, they advised that they’d get the new parts sent out after their technician looks into the issue. We would then have to phone back to arrange for someone to fit these parts on. So how long will this take now ? We waited 6 months for these sofas that me and my husband were genuinely very excited for, but they turn out not as expected. We lodged a complaint in store with Becky and were told that it’s the distribution centre that’s at fault and they would get back to us on the 30th May. We received no update! Appalling service, safe to say we will never be purchasing from here again. Please invest your money and time elsewhere. We ordered furniture from furniture village and BensonsforBed which both came in the allocated timeframe, so ScS can’t even blame covid or brexit for this !

took delivery of a sofa and two arm chairs a week ago, costing £6000 the recliners are defective and feel as if they are about to snap whilst in normal use , spoke with customer services and their next available slot to repair them is 7th July, when the sofa was sold to us we were told their service was second to none, however this to me is appalling service , they seam happy to sell you an item but not so keen to repair it

Shocking customer service. Delivery now overdue by 3 months. I’ve received two pieces of my three piece suite. When I asked for a refund having waited for 6 months they told me I could only get a refund on the piece which hasn’t arrived and with no delivery date. I set out to buy a three piece and now have a useless two piece suite

Still waiting fivemonths two weeks. Four delivery dates cancelled at the last moment. They arrange dates which they know they wont honour but because of the small print terms are you are unable to have a refund of your money They are are nothing short of con men! I am a 76 year old single woman and have been met with nothing but rudeness. No apology from the person at Grimsby store when my Grandson took me back to complain.

I ordered a carpet in October 2020 it was due to be delivered and fitted on 12 November the carpet fitter failed to walk to the front door just shouted from the back gate then drove away. I arranged another fitting, they didn’t turn up finally in the December someone came and ‘fit’ the carpet. It was not flush to the stairs, I complained in writing no response. After hours on hold over various days I went into the local store. I man claiming to be the manager arranged a refit and said he’d call me. No call, I went to the store again and met the manager not the boy pretending to be the manager. 3 months later the carpet was refit, again it was not flush and this time it was fraying in the corners and cut too small in places. After an online inspection a replacement carpet was ordered, it was fit too short and fraying again. Finally this year the carpet was replaced for the second time it’s still not perfect. The customer service has been appalling I’ve had to chase at every stage. Calls weren’t returned, the 2nd inspection report was 6 weeks late and I have not received a call to see if the latest carpet is ok.

A lot of miscommunication and increasing costs. Job was done but the contractors made a lot of mess on two floors, left a lot of extra carpet for us to clear, fitting was done very poorly , glue is already started sticking out, there is a lot of gap between stair nose and carpet which is disaster waiting to happen. Very dissapointed

Would of give you zero if it was there. had some wood furniture delivered, the side board is different colour to tv stand customer service appauling just been told that because its hand made and wooden it will be different colour.told them that the tag on it says furniture village not scs you can tell that it has been varnished by looking inside ,its a different colour will not buy anything else from this company again alright taking your money not bothered that its not what we ordered

WARNING Worst carpet and sofa place around. Order a carpet delayed it two time. Carpet fitter are self-employed and are really bad at their job. See photos My two chairs I ordered have been delayed twice aswell that's five months now. Customer service never ring you back when they say, so you have to ring them back.

Had our lazy boy sofa delivered 9 days ago but the recliner wouldn't work so they took it back saying that someone would be in touch in 48 hours. Heard nothing so called again and told I would hear something in 72 hrs, heard nothing again so called them again today and was told the store would call me back and guess what? No call but they still have our money but we have no chair an no one has the decency to even call us back, what ever happened to customer service , none existent at SCS stay clear !

Absolutely disgusting service, i would not recommend. So many issues with delivery, I still have not received my sofa that was due to arrive 4 weeks ago.

Repair not carried out timeously or to my satisfaction and refused to refund. Staff doing their best with terrible goods. I wish I had gone to another store.

If your thinking of getting a new carpet DON'T BOTHER, go somewhere else, unless you want it for Christmas next year! We placed an order in July 2021, we still have not got it completely fitted right as yet. You can't call your local store, only Sunderland, they don't seem to talk to anyone other than email, everyone blames everyone else, its the store, its the carpet fitters, its not on the system, we'll email them, I'm not bothered who's fault it is, I just want what I've paid for, and it wasn't cheap!

Have very poor experience about ScS sofas. After placing order they couldn't deliver the sofa in 4 months. Finally had to cancel the order as expected delivery was changed few times. Recomend not to buy from them. See facebook complaints about them. Nobody wrote anything good about them. Rubbish company.

Absolutely shocking!!! I spend over £5k just so they can tell lies about my delivery date. I want the item, but I need to dispose my old sofa which takes time to arrange. My delivery date was delayed, then moved forwards, then we arranged for a future date, then they said its here so you cant change date, then they said they nothing is confirmed but will update me once confirmed, then I get a text saying its coming tomorrow!!! That leaves me no time at all to call anyone to collect old sofa!!! I already pre-empted all of this, but no they had to make life difficult for me!!! Sort your communication out and logistics! Its terrible!

By far the worst furniture store the UK and probably the world has! These absolute bunch of con artist cowboys take your money for cheap, bad quality products! My sofa has been repaired twice and requires further repairs from a manufacturerfault. They have broken the consumer rights act in which states a timely repair must be made, this has been on going for a year. In addition my rights for a refund less wear and tear have been refused and they want to make further repairs to the sofa! There technician's are inappropriate and unprofessional. They make inappropriate innuendos/ remarks and the last one that was here had zero faith in their products he sat here slating them! Especially the foams seats we pay for! The one before that use almost half a litre sized bottle of wood glue to repair the sofa! Like putting a bandaid on a burst water main! Cowboys. The lot of em. I've been laughed at by the customers services team, called a liar by Dawn and Jenna at HQ who are by no means professional or competent at their job! Dawn out right said if it couldn't be repaired the 2nd time i could apply for a refund. Then told me I cant have one cause she didn't say that whilst laughing down the phone! Sofa is still broken! To demonstrate their further incompetence they had to come out to repair my bowed sideboard, why, cause they'd installed it wrong! Completely ridiculous! SCS the Ryanair of the retailer world, cheap tatty and low quality. Horrendous customer service that will leave you feeling stressed, drained, anxious and depressed becaueneyou  just can't get anywhere with them! I will never ever use these money stealing fiends who sell you shoddy damaged unworthy furniture and refused to follow laws or conduct! I have now reported them to trading standards and filed a section75 complaint with my finance company to resolve the issue.Re: S7777-4049984
