“I wanted to let your company know that I have had my Kenmore True Hepa 360 vacuum for 25 years strong. It's a bit banged up, however it works great. This vacuum has survived 2 kids, adults now and 4 cats 2 still living and 4 moves, one across country from NY to AZ.

“Purchased ext warranty for dishwasher. Waited 3 weeks to get serviced. Repair man said between 9-5. So……wait at home for 8 hours? Worse than the cable guy. Finally 445 shows up. 20 min later says “I need a new part” I’ll be back in two weeks.”
So……5 weeks from original phone call.

“Two weeks ago I had an appointment which costed close to $400. As soon as the repair man left we tried the machine and it was doing the same thing. Scheduled an appointment to have him come back and it was a week out, ok fine. Today, they accidentally canceled my appointment and now the earliest appointment is another week out. Keep in mind I already paid for the first appointment already.”
“IT'S A SCAM!!!. For you sign up for they tell you that you don't need to pay labor. They'll send a technician the next day and you talk about labor ($595) and you have to pay that upfront before them fixing anything and they will be back after 3 weeks or more depending on their availability. If you don't agree to this. You have to pay their diagnostics 119 dollars. So it's a SCAM!!!!!”
“Well, why don't you show for 1 thing? I took an unpaid day off work, and no service? You were pretty quick to schedule next day service for 8 am and you took my credit card quickly enough . The operator once I got a hold of one was rude. If my card gets charged next stop for me is the Attorney General.”
“Sear keep scheduling an appointment, an no one show up, I been dealing with this problem with my range since July and it's not fix as of yet,but when it time to renew the warranty sear is calling day and night..once the yearly warranty is up I will not be dealing with Sear..I would never recommend
Sear,they had no empathy or compassion, I have taken off of work twice for both appointments they had scheduled..and all they have to say is sorry, but I'm still dealing with the same situation..”
“Sears sent a defective part. We now have to have it replaced at our expense again. It was $140.00 to get the part put in. It will be another $140.00 to replace the defective part. The defective part is $299.78. That eats we will be out of pocket a total of $579.78. That is $350.00 less than the machine was brand new. Are they going to cover the labor cost, no. Dint use Sears. They do not care about their customers only your money”

Waiting on a refund they keep telling me I’m going to get in 7-14 days for a job they never showed up to while i waited for and wasted 2 days since i rescheduled 2 appointments with them.

“Had service tech come out to look at my refrigerator found that I needed parts came back out. The second time said parcher, incorrect and then laughed instead of refunding my money.
Then contacted the service department and they blew me off and said they will not refund me service fee. What a scam.”
“Sears home services is the worst to deal with. Placed an order 7/3/2024 and yet to receive the part for thr Kenmore side by side refrigerator. They keep saying the is on order and keep pushing the delivery date back more. Do not order from sears home services!!”
“Sears came to my home (the next day following my initial call) to repair my washer which was shutting off when it entered the spin cycle. The repairman did some diagnostics and declared he was unable to isolate a problem and then charged me $119.00 for the visit. He then left. I still had a broken washer so I called the service center and they said they could not schedule a second repairman for 3 or 4 WEEKS. I said I would find someone else and just give me a refund of my $119.00. They said they would and it is now 60 days later and still no refund. I call them every week and they claim the refund should show up within 72 hours. But nothing. The washer was subsequently replaced. I don't know what happened with the Sears customer service but they sure aren't the reliable organization they used to be. I will never call them again. Beware!!!!”

My Kenmore refrigerator is less than 4 years old. The evaporator fans in the freezer went out. No problem, replace them right. NOPE! They are no longer manufactured. Sears can't/won't tell you if there is an aftermarket part that will fit. I hired an outside licensed professional and he cannot get the parts anywhere.
Sears will not actually tell you if your appliance is still under warranty. They require you to take an entire day off of work for their EIGHT-hour service window. They can't come out to look at your appliance for a week or more. I was told by the repair department they are the largest parts holder of appliance parts in the country, but they won't tell you if they have the parts. Their parts departments says they are no longer manufactured, and they do not have them. No one can tell me what happens if they can't get the unavailable parts.
Honestly it was the biggest run around I have ever gotten from any company ever.”

“Technician went to my neighbors house and ordered parts for their oven. I have an Amana, the parts ordered were for a Samsung. Called him back and left a message, called Sears and only got an automated system. Called my realtor and home warranty company to resolve this issue. Will be contacting the BBB as they forged my name on work orders.”

“Repairman only wanted to sell me a warranty. Repair part never showed up. Repair had to be rescheduled after spending two hours trying to find someone to explain the situation to. Still haven’t heard from anyone. This is my third washer in six years and the second time it broke down. They collected $400 up front and then went awol. Screw Sears”
“Contact if you want to pay 300-400$ for simple repair just on labor or you want to wait 2-3 weeks with out a fridge scam artist company go elsewhere unless you want to overpay a guy to go and guess the problem or wait 2 weeks for them to come back out I’m glad Sears stores and no longer a thing former sears tech”
“I wouldn't give this company a single star if it wasn't required to fill at least one to write a review. I have a service protection agreement for my washer and dryer. The dryer died, so I scheduled maintenance. There was NO contact from Sears by email call or text during any of the process, I had to initiate all of it myself, even when they randomly cancelled or rescheduled. The dryer needed a part they didn't have in stock, so it went to ordering and I was told if in 10 days they couldn't get it, I would get a replacement dryer. Multiple weeks to by, and I have called them numerous times to figure out when I will have something done, no one knows what's happening, they offer me $50 whole dollars for the laundromat! Wow! I've not had a dryer for over a month by then. The voucher also takes 21 days by mail, they say (it never arrives). Finally they get to the point of offering me a credit for a new dryer, which I reluctantly order because it means I'm still dealing with SEARS. That was in June. My dryer broke in March. It is not AUGUST, the date of my scheduled delivery (And HAUL AWAY of the broken machine) and I've heard nothing from the supposed night-before confirmation call. I initiate contact AGAIN and they tell me they don't have the dryer in stock but once they do it will ship to me. No effort to do anything more to make it right. Hardly even an apology for the fact that I have been without a dryer for 5+mos on the promise that they will make things right PER A PAID SERVICE AGREEMENT. Do not buy anything from this trash company, there's a reason they've gone bankrupt and closed 90% of their locations.”
“Not happy! Bought a fridge! Delivery date was 7/1/24 and never got it! Never got an email or call indicating it would be delayed! I cancelled the order which took longer than should have! It was effectively cancelled 7/12/24! I was told it should take 7 to 10 business days to refund the money they took from my account upon purchase in June 2024! It has been 20 business days and my money has not been returned! They have effectively stolen my money!!! Anyone want to start a class action??? Let me know”
