“My washing machine broke January ‘24 (just shy of one year ago) after determining it could not be fixed, I was promised a new machine - which I am STILL waiting for! I have wasted hundreds of dollars at the laundry mat and countless hours on the phone with Sears. I have been promised the delivery would happen and it never happens! I have been promised that customer service will call me back and they never do! But guess what - I am Never going to stop believing that some day Sears will stop with the lies and just send the washer. Please - just send the washer.”
“I will never buy a refrigerator warranty again from Sears. It has been four months now and the Warranty company steel has not fixed our refrigerator. They ordered the wrong part. Then when we do get the part, they put in the part and then it ended up being something else wrong with it and had to order another part, we get the part in and when they come out to fix it, the part is broken And then we finally get that part replaced and still having Problems with one of the drawers, freezing our products and they had even cleaned out the lines. Now they are saying they don’t have a repairman in the area that can fix it. I call hogwash on this. Warrantees and insurance these days tends to be a scam. They want your money, but they sure don’t wanna make it right when you need help”
“Hello, everyone. I see that we are all dissatisfied with Sears. It appears that they have sold their company when they closed all the stores. Lets start a Class Action Law suit. They are not honoring their warranties and the customer Service is pointless. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and they refused. I've been trying to get my refrigerator repaired since August 2024. When they realized they could not fix it they gave me a voucher for the partial of my refrigerator. I questioned why my fridge wasn't going to be replaced and the response was "The new company does not offer that anymore". So, back to the voucher, every time I attempt to use it when it says the product is available once I go to check out it says that the item is sold out. I have called several times. Every call the system is being updated and they say it should be up in 48 hours. They don't care that I've paid for this warranty service. I want to SUE and will be making some phone calls today. I will post information on here once I figure it out.”

“Sears stated I needed a parts for a repair on my Samsung fridge. I paid for everything up front. Part was delivered 11-22-24. Sears tech cancelled stating part was not there which it was sitting on my counter. They rescheduled for 11-25-24. This ended up being a no call no show. 12-2-24 last minute the cancelled last minute. Stating that the part that’s physically sitting on my counter was not delivered. The tracking number they proved clearly shows it was delivered on 11-22-24. Now they say they are ready for repairs and are coming on Dec 9th 2024. I will never use sears again.”
“Had an appointment 2 days ago rescheduled for today, 12/02/2024 btw 8AM and noon. No show, no call. Called to find out no tech has been scheduled for today. Not offered any explanation. They wanted to re-schedule 2-3 days from now. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
NO WONDER WHY THEY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS COUPLE YEARS AGO.

“Do not buy anything from sears.com. Sears issued a refund to be used on sears.com, I have been waiting 11 months for sears.com to send out an over range microwave and still waiting. I have called customer service weekly just to be told that the item has not made it to the warehouse and that they would escalate the issue to a supervisor and someone will call, and no one has ever called. November 1st, I called again, and was told that the item has been available in the warehouse for one month and logistics will call soon to schedule a time to deliver and install. Waited one week..no call…I called back and was told that sears would bypass logistics and have Costco (what) deliver the microwave. I asked what does Costco have to do with sears.com, and was told that sears has been using Costco to fill orders for 2 years. Do not buy a Home Warranty from sears, you will regret it!”
“after at least 3 attempts no luck with dishwasher. between bagging and humming noise driving me crazy. even offered to buy a sears dishwasher at my iwn expense if they would at least install it. but no now i have to wait for another appr”
“I have a LG refrigerator. Had problems. Sears out 4 times to repair, changing parts each time plus upper and lower evaporators. Signed off as being repaired each time with my warranty company. Still not working for over 35 days. I informed the warranty company not to send them back out, which they assigned a new vendor, and suggested they get their money back plus not to utilize them for their customers. Must say, worst repair service for anything, that I have ever had to deal with. Should be a minus five stars!!! Lost over $500.00 in food, plus unable to utilize for Thanksgiving leftovers!!!”
“If I can give them a negative I would, I ordered the part from my washer and paid for the repair service upfront, they scheduled every appointment to come between 8 AM and noon every day from Saturday to Friday and have not shown up at this point. So I have missed work every day this week and waited for nobody to show or call, will dispute with credit card company and file a complaint with the BB.
My advice is do not ever use them find a local appliance store and use them.”
“Waiting since July to get dishwasher fixed or replaced. Now Sears cannot get an installer so we have to get an installer. Customer service is bad and cannot get ahold of a supervisor. Hung up on 3 times.”
“I called to have my oven repaired. It's a Samsung so it has two way to heat. My family always uses the one because we never need the whole oven. It stopped working (won't go past 175). I called to have them fix it.
The guy comes over says it's the pilot and it's a $700 repair. What? The part is only $200. So he was telling me he wanted to charge me $500 for the labor?! He told me no, it's because the part costs that much but he'll use a cheaper one from his van and make it a $500 repair. So not only did I pay for a Samsung pilot cost, but I didn't get that part, I got a cheaper one.
BUT here's the kicker. That's not even what was wrong with the stove.
I called because it's still not working. They send another technician out who says its the top pilot that needs to be repaired and I'd have to pay again for that. I was told because I already paid for this problem to be solved, I wouldn't have to pay again. It's not my fault the first guy fixed the wrong part. Why am I paying for another part and another job when the same problem wasn't fixed? He said just use the bottom part of the oven only then.
Don't use Sears at this point. They want you to pay twice to fix one problem.
The people on the phone though were wonderful. Still find a different company that's not trying to steal your money and not fix the problem.”
“I had to pick a star to write a review. We ordered a part thru Sears for our washer. First part was 100% defective. They sent a replacement part that was 95% defective in that it started filling the washer for a cycle then shut off without draining the water. We returned both within their return policy with no refund given. When called to ask, the customer service representatives hung up.”
“DO NOT BUY A HOME WARRANTY FROM SEARS! It’s all a SCAM! Every month they charge my credit card for my home warranty. Refrigerator has been broken for months! Parts unavailable. If they can’t fix it they are supposed to replace it. Total BS! Our case has been escalated for weeks! Still not fixed and they refuse to replace it! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! “Awful company. Technician lied about coming to our home and we were not there. I was in my living room all day with a full view of the street and front walkway. Rescheduled and date confirmed then company went radio silent. No way to speak to a human being. While extended warranties are probably unwise, this company is a SCAM and is not fulfilling their responsibility. Lowes will now be held responsible since they are the ones who sold the home warranty and subcontracted to a disreputable firm. Interesting that this company had a class action lawsuit in Illinois. After contacting Lowes, the BBB of Virginia will also be notified. Companies need to be held responsible.”
“I use to be a sears service tech but couldn’t handle the lies that the higher up people gave it was more trying to sell home warranty then to fix anything because of that I couldn’t give good customer service so I quit”
“They used bait and switch tactics with me. They then promised a refund but failed to deliver it. When I called, they said I had not returned the parts. After I told them I had, they promised the refund would arrive in two weeks. Now they are disputing my dispute of the credit card charge.”
