“This is the second time we've used Secret Escapes , Luxury Bali 3 years ago and we've just come back from a Luxury Sri Lanka tour. I went with my daughter who's in her 20s on both occasions and had the most amazing time. Secret Escapes always got back to any queries promptly and gave us honest feedback. I cant fault this company and will continue to use them.”

“I do hope the COVID experience of many guests is sorted out as I had great experience with customer service after Fantastic trip to Iceland. An excursion was cancelled and they sorted out a refund quickly and without fuss. Dealt with questions, queries etc quickly and we had a great time. Shame about these reviews, hope it gets sorted for people.”

“The process online is extremely easy, presentable, easy on the eye and the transaction from Secret escapes to the hotel themselves in ridiculously fast!!! I rang the hotel the second I paid to confirm the type of room I would like and they were lovely.”

“Having used Secret Escapes now on several occasions they have never failed to provided what they offered, their attention to detail is extraordinary, I did have had one minor problem but after a quick call all was resolved, for me booking with them is now done with confidence knowing that I will get what they say I will.”

“Secret Escapes have refused to refund me for a trip to Sardinia, Italy in May stating my hotel booking is non refundable and I am therefore unable to cancel.I DONT WANT to cancel but the hotel is in lockdown so the service I have paid for is not available. COntacted the hotel who say they have not been paid so therefore Secret Escapes are illegally retaining my money. Will take this all the way - Martin Lewis, Watchdog etc. and hope others follow suit. What a scam - their reputation will be destroyed after the publicity. The public have enough to worry about during this difficult time.”

“Booked a London hotel with TELEGRAPH TRAVEL in February 2020 for two nights in April 2020. WHAT A MISTAKE! They use SECRET ESCAPES. It is now nearly October and I haven’t had a refund yet! I have contacted Secret Escapes so many times by email and phone and have got nowhere. We are extremely annoyed at the customer service we have received from them not replying to our emails and putting the phone down on occasions,which is so rude. We feel totally let down by TELEGRAPH TRAVEL and SECRET ESCAPES.”

“These highway men need capturing. It is not legal to refuse a refund when you have not been able to fulfil your contract. Despite numerous attempts to get a refund, Secret Escapes have still not stepped forward and I call on their directors to do the right thing, as their behaviour and conduct now will be remembered at every company they are involved in the future.”

“Communication is this company's weakness. There is little joined up thinking so where and when you are going to your accommodation, meals, sites can be changed on a daily basis and the lack of communication between Secret Escapes and its local operators was obvious from the start.”

“You haven't responded to my emailed complaint or my survey response, very poor service considering I spent almost £500 for 3 nights uk stay”

“Very misleading and dishonest company. I booked a five night holiday in Morocco but when the itinerary came through I noticed there were just four hotel night stays. When I called to ask where we would be staying on the fifth night I was informed that my flight left on the fourth day it wouldn't be back in the UK until the fifth (at 12.30am) so they call it a five night trip. If that isn't absurd I don't know what is.”
