“I do love them. They needed a good wash before use as they smelt a bit like the dye and were very dusty. Caused a lot of fluff around the room. Currently On the second wash since starting to use them so I’m hoping it will die down a little.”

“Duvet cover superb as are the matching curtains. However,the striped double fitted bedsheet is enormous and sags all over the bed and scrunches up. I had to check the label, I thought I had ordered King Size in error, but apparently not.”

“First of all excellent customer service. I ended up buying the linen duvet cover,pillow cases and fitted sheet for an Emperor sized bed. Sadly the fitted sheet is very tight and doesn’t fit well probably because I have a mattress protector and a topper. The duvet cover also doesn’t feel right it’s too big and we get tangled up in it. Maybe better when washed.”

“I bought a set of the antique white 600 thread bed linen and in reality it is great rather than any white. Also 490 thread of a different brand felt nicer and softer.”

“The actual linen is lovely and I like the colour but after first wash it was quite bobbly. Also, I ordered king size and it is definitely bigger than a king so it hangs a little too much on the sides.”

“Hi, I am glad of this opportunity to comment. The bedding, rose linen sheets pillow cases and super king duvet cover. The colour is great. I find the texture very rough and uncomfortable almost unpleasant. The duvet cover is over sized and therefore the duvet slides in it when I turn over. The crinkle in the sheet is ironed flat by my body which means that I am then lying on creases of excess sheet. Over all I am afraid that I am let down.”

“Customer service very good. Have found a wide variation in product. Eg. The white linen bedding is coarse and scratchy. Whereas the other colours I bought seem ok. I have washed the white several times in he hope of softening it. Unfortunately despite following washing instructions to the letter and tumble drying with extra fabric softeners too, it seems the same. Not a cheap product either, disappointing.”

“Very disappointed with fitted sheets because they are elasticated all round making it impossible to iron. I have had to alter them so the elastic is just on the corners, a real drag. The pillow cases are just machine hems. No wide hems ticking. The fabric is acceptable, but I wouldn't buy these again.”

“Quick delivery and a quality product in regards of the feel. The sizing is a bit off though. Ordered for an Ikea mattress using the actual measurements which matched the description however it’s a little baggy and not a snug fit.”

“I had read all the amazing reviews so placed my order, tiny stripe duvet cover and pillowcases and percale cotton sheet plus two oxford cases. My expectations were high, so received my Secret Linen parcel with some anticipation, I do love good bedding. I opened the Oxford pillowcases, and was very surprised to find the cotton was average, nothing special and quite thin, and the border had been created by a single row of stitching on a sewing machine, the sort of sewing I could achieve making them at home, not what I expected at all. I sent the percale straight back. The tiny stripe was ok, I like the colour but there is no wow factor. Maybe my expectations were too high, from all the five star reviews, but I honestly can’t give more than three stars, I won’t use this company again.”

“Fast shipping and quick refund. Quick to reply to email ! Unfortunately, it was not for me. I really wanted to love them considering the reviews but the linen did not feel as soft as I would have liked even after one pillow case was washed as advised by the team. It felt very nice quality and had a very lovely texture to it bit was not smooth to my liking... I have setting form different companies that are cheaper (soak and sleep and even HM!) and quality/softness is faultless. Due to the price tag I was not willing to wait and see whether it gets softer and probably it would have done with time but was not willing to risk it. Shame as I really wanted to love them ! X”

“I love the bed linen and bought much of it, HOWEVER, the super king size fitted sheets are too large for a super king bed by about 3-5cm in each direction. Unfortunately this is not quite large enough to fit an emperor bed. What it means instead, is that the fitted sheet rucks up looking and feeling messy. I have several super king size beds (different brands, different mattress depths) and sadly it's the same for all of them. Secret Linen Store, please can you make a super king size fitted sheet that fits a super king size bed like your competitors?”

“Website and purchase process was good. Value very good. Service to get delivery was a bit of a nightmare and took a long while to resolve. Whilst the Secret Linen Store were very fast in response to issues we've raised, they weren't able to resolve what should be a simple case of their delivery company having some sort of issue with the package in their depot and not being able to deliver it. The company DPD is clearly a cheap budget option for delivery, and they are not good. It's a real shame, as genuinely have found the general idea of the store really good, and their customer service excellent. But experience was ruined by it taking ages to get the products through. The good news... the duvet is awesome and the bedding excellent.”

“Ordered the 600tc wide stripe duvet cover and pillowcase set. Looks good but this is definitely not a 600tc product, the weight and finish is more like a 200tc product. Very disappointing.”
