We were very happy with the service we received right from our arrival at SG Petch. I had wanted a Mito for a long timne but we were also considering changing our Jeep for another Jeep. Andy, the salesman was very knowledgeable on both brands and what he didn't know he found out for us. My initial test drive of the Mito was disappointing as it was underpowered compared to the car I was driving at the time. Andy suggested we try the more powerful model with a bigger engine so we came back the next day to do so (it was in the showroom). This suited me much better and it was an automatic as well which I really wanted. The price we were offered for part ex was a little disappointing as we knew how much more it would be sold out for and we knew it was in good condition, low mileage and recently serviced but that is garages for you and no different to any other. In fact on inspection Andy found a couple of minor things which he said would reduce the price but he honoured the price he had said the day before so with a deposit contribution from Alfa and 4 years interest free credit the deal was done. We opted for the special coating to protect the paintwork and interior but subsequently found out it is not very good and the dealer makes a whopping profit on it. I was a little upset to find there were already scuff marks inside the car when we collected it. Overall a very good experience and when we do get round to changing the Jeep we will be going back.

From start to finish, our purchase was handled efficiantly and professionally by Chris Philips. This was our fist time leasing a motobility car and your salesman was extremely helpful, explaining everything and we are extremely happy with our new car. Will definitely be back in 3 years time. Sara was very helpful, efficient, attentive and professional in all my dealings with her. Lovely lady. The other members of the team were helpful and pleasant. I was made very welcome when I came into the showroom to pick up my new car and a lovely lady looked after me and made me a lovely cup of hot chocolate whilst I waited to be attended to. Recently bought Nissan Micra at Durham site. Salesperson was called Christian. Overall excellent experience. Christian sorted everything out and while awaiting delivery of car he was always keeping me informed of the impending delivery date. Explained everything about the finances really well. When picking up car took me through all the controls etc. Couldn't have asked for a better salesperson.

I always enjoy my visits to S G Petch. I find the staff pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They fulfil the commitments they promise and make the whole business of car purchase easy to understand. Any queries I may have are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. I would not deal with any other garage.

The car i bought was great and was dealt with by terry at sg petch durham was good to, when going to pick the car up things that had been spoken about were not resolved i.e scratches on car rear passenger side above door, rip in driver seat leather, scratces indents in rear passanger side door, paid £9000 for this car and the finer details for me should have been dealt with alot better, cannot fault the service otherwise. I am very pleased with my car. I had a couple of hiccups but it's been in today and been sorted , only problem I have now is I can't get my phone linked up but I am going to go in next week and see if they can connect it for me .

We were invited to go to a special promotional weekend of 'special offers'. My first impression when we arrived was disappointing as although I had explained what we would be interested in the sales staff didn't seem to have been given this information. However after some discussions with sales staff they were able to find cars that would suits our needs. They then pulled all the stops out to find the car for us. They did their job well and we have our third Hyundai Santa Fe. There has been many improvements in the five years since we bought our last Hyundai. It is a joy to drive and we are very pleased with it. Having seen the Premium SE, we decided that the Premium car would fit our needs and pocket best. I was so disappointed that when we went to pick up our new car that it did not have automatic tail gate closure. It seems such a small thing to want but as a driver of only 5 foot I find it very difficult to close the tailgate. It seems such a shame to have to tie a piece of tape to enable me to close the tailgate.

The sales woman Leanne was excellent. She really did make the difference between buying from SG Petch and another dealer. Very friendly and professional and she knew her stuff. I can't praise her enough.

Really good experience. Tony our salesman was very accommodating in helping us get the car we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. Overall I would recommend the Darlington branch.

The salesperson Chris made me purchasing a car from SG perch a dream.he was so informative but not pushy in any way.he handle any querries really promptly , he kept me fully informed regarding the car. He took all the stress out of looking,testing and purchsing a car.he is a real asset to the garage and that is why i purchases my car as other garages they were so pushy and not interest in me getting the right car for me.he should get a pay rise and I would defiantly buy many more cars for Chris if he is still at SG Petch and recommend him to all my friends who are looking for cars.

Part ex. and Purchase went smoothly however its over 3 weeks since I requested a couple of accessories and still no word. This is not what I was expecting. It was also disappointing to find, after taking delivery, an alert appeared for low window washer fluid and the nearside front tyre pressure was at 24 psi instead of 33 psi. These are not major issues but if the pre-delivery service dept. missed these quite obvious items, I'm concerned about the items which are more difficult to check.

Dealt with a lady named Sara Dodds. Incredibly helpful from the moment i entered the building. Arranged collection of my old car and also helped me select my new vehicle. Could not have been happier with the service. I will be recommending to anybody looking to invest in a new/second hand car. By far the most friendly and informative garage i have visited.

Connor our salesman was fantastic, could not fault him. The manager needs to go back to basics and realise that a car can be a huge outlay and be more approachable and show care and friendliness, just as Connor did. We are still waiting to see if anything can be done on the sg petch service plan as it's hugely more expensive than Hyundai
