“I bought the car for my daughter, under normal circumstance I would have sourced it from my local dealer in Sheffield but as we were in York we drove to Monks Cross to look at the cars. We were introduced to Gary who showed us various examples of the car we were after, the experience felt very comfortable, there was no hard sell just answers to questions. The following day I agreed a deal with Gary and the whole process went smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate buying another car from SG Petch.”

“Very efficient and organised and understanding of my needs. Usually you can be expected to feel some pressure when buying a car and encouraged to look at something maybe a little above your price range. However I was impressed that following my indication of what I was looking for, I was offered cars of this type. Good warranty offer too, despite buying a five year old car!”

“I ordered my new Kia Rio and part-exchanged my Picanto. No hassle. - I had phone call 4 days before my car was ready was to collect. Paperwork was efficiently dealt with and I'm happy with my purchase.”

“I bought a Hyundai i20 got a good deal. the sales people were very helpful and were not pushy as some car sales people are. I would recommend this garage to anybody for buying a car.”

“Excellent sales technique by Paul Morris, he was very patient and gave me the time to make a decision and couldn't do enough to help me. The car was presented well on the day and a brief on the car when picking it up was meticulously given. He is a marvellous asset to SG Petch. The young lady that handled the purchase was very good too! I will definitely be back to see Paul for my next car!”

“Terrible customer service at the nissan service department. Asked to bring the car in for 9am for a 1pm collection. On return to the garage at pick up time was informed that they had only just started to look at the vehicle and told to come back at 2pm. On return at thus time the work was incomplete and was told it needed more work doing on a recall item!! I don't even know if the car is even safe to drive. To top it all not one of the staff could even muster an apology, or even appear to be at all sorry.”

Hi Simon, i agree your car should have been ready when we promised, but it wasn't and i personally apologise for the delay and any inconvenience caused. “The whole buying experience was great. No hassle and no gimmicks. No high pressure sales tactics. Had a really good test drive of the model we finally purchased. We were Lucky to get a sales person called Gareth, and a finance Manager called Becky. They were both open and honest, and explained everything, in a friendly manner.Got a decent price for my trade in, and a free 3 year service plan, as part of the deal. What more could you want. We purchased the HYUNDAI i20 SE 5 DOOR MODEL. And would recommend SG PETCH at Middlesbrough.”
