I had seen the car I liked online, my dad viewed it for me and then I went to test drive it. As soon as we arrived in the car park we were greeted by a salesman who arranged a test drive for me for two cars. The car that I wanted to buy was a Seat Ibiza but I was unable to test drive that as the tyres were bald. I was however able to test drive another Seat but was a different model. Myself and the salesman walked around the vehicle as there were scratches and a dent in the wing mirror which I wanted fixing, he said would fix everything I asked for and replace the 2 bald tyres and have it valeted. I decided that I wanted to buy the Seat Ibiza and asked for a deal, which was a very reasonable deal and I was very happy with it, my father paid by cash and card that day and everything was good to go and I could pick it up in 5 days. With the opening times my father arranged to pick it up for me and arranged a time with the salesman. The time my father was picking It up was 11am and I received a voicemail at 09.55 asking for my fathers number. After speaking to both myself and my dad on Thursday he would have noticed he does not have a voice box and is aided with a buzzer, I also told him he is unable to speak on the phone because of that. I am still unsure the reason to why the changes had not been made to my car ready for collection at 11am but calling me an hour before pick up is not good customer service. Also making a customer wait 2 hours and 15mins isn't either when my father sat there nobody give him any update or offered him a drink or anything. He had to leave In the end as had an appointment so he drove te new car away. Whilst he was there heard a lady on the phone to customers doing a survey and kept on saying were we not a 10 there are you sure and it was like she was pressuring them to give better feedback. I was really unhappy with the service I had received and also to the standard of the vehicle at collection. The passengers left wing mirror looks like somebody has put a corrector pen over the top to fix it, and there has been no valeting of the car only an air freshener put in. The other cosmetic repairs you said you would have fixed were not even touched. I sent an email to the salesman that evening asking him to give me a call the next day to arrange to fix the car, after still not receiving a call or message I decided to call and he was busy, when he did answer it was if nothing had happened. He then said he hadn't looked at his emails or spoke to the repair shop this was in the afternoon so I knew he was trying to get me off the phone. By the late afternoon I called back at work and asked to speak to his manager, a gentleman came on the phone didn't introduce himself and I explained the circumstances and he said I know of this car, he said he would speak to Jordan the salesman and get him to call me back with the repairs. Once I received the call he didn't have an answer for me just called me asking what id called for, I was absolutely livid nobody had once apologised, took charge or re-assured me. I said ok get the manager to call me back when you know what your doing. Lee called me I still don't know his job title, he said what is it that you want from us?? I said what I want is the car that I have purchased to the specification that was promised to me, and the customer service to go with it. He said well its 1 year old so I cant give you a new car, I said I don't want a new car I want what was agreed, he said what do you want then a refund. I said well you've took my old car, Ive changed and paid for new insurance I just want it fixing. He asked if he could pick my car up and give me a courtesy car until it was fixed. The salesman who sold me the car and was horrendous at customer service skills brought it, still no apology. When it was ready to pick up, everyone practically hid from me there was no manager to speak to I still haven't received an apology. Nobody had showed us how to work the car the gentleman who give me my keys give me a SEAT keyring and said he will see me for my next service. Well I was that disappointed with SG Petch and the service I have removed all signage from my car as I will not be promoting that company for as long as I live. For my service I will not be using them nor me or my family will be purchasing a car from them again. After speaking about my experience to friends and colleagues everybody who has ever used them have had a bad experience. They are supposed to be a family run business. Once the car was purchased they didn't care, you are spending thousands and want to feel assured but I didn't get any of that. I would rate them a zero for everything they do not deserve your money find a car elsewhere!!!!!!

Went into renew my finance deal and browse for a possible upgrade. Came away very satisfied with a Cee'd SR7 on a deal I was pleased with! I was very happy with the whole process once again. Bill, the sales rep who I dealt with, was very helpful when it came to organising around my busy work schedule. It took some time but we got it done, and I was very grateful for the efficiency and cooperation of all the staff at SG Petch.

After paying the initial deposit on my new car, the customer service dropped dramatically. I had to contact the dealer for updates on registration and date of delivery as no contact was made by them. Then on the day of collecting my car the time was changed more than once, due to a member of staff being absent. Coming to the handover of the new car, it wasn't the sales person I had been dealing with, it was someone who knew a lot more and was great answering my questions and completing the paperwork. She was really helpful and gave a detailed explanation of how all the gadgets in the car worked. I've now had my car almost a month and I am still waiting for the follow up call to check everything is ok as I was promised. Love the car but am highly disappointed in the customer service standards. I wouldn't recommend the dealership on this basis.

We can fully understand your frustration at not receiving updates on your new car, and unfortunately in your case, the original salesperson left the company prior to your handover. sorry for taking so long to say thank you for the excellent service I received when purchasing my car. (my laptop has been playing up!). From start to finish, I was very pleased with Alan Copeland`s approach and attitude....professional, respectful and patient (given my never ending, sometimes sceptical, questions!!) I have had some not-so-pleasant experiences over the years when I needed to change my cars, ranging from feeling pressured to out right intimidation, not to mention the ridiculous and occasionally laughable answers I`ve been given should I dare to raise a query! I can honestly say that, at no time did I feel Alan Copeland was being anything but above board and honest with me. So thankyou Alan, it was very much appreciated. Mrs Michele Henderson

We received very good, efficient and professional service when we recently bought our Mazda car. The sales guy was very patient and explained everything clearly to us. We drove 3 different cars before finally making up our mind - there was no pressure whatsoever. Very satisfied and would recommend.

Craig Luck was our salesman. He was able to provide answers to all our questions with confidence, and provided us with information which allowed us to make an informed choice. I did not feel that I was being given a hard sell, and felt comfortable asking questions. I would certainly be looking for Craig when we next change our car. A very relaxed atmosphere.

Salesman Gary Maughan was very helpful and had an very good manner. The only thing I am disappointed in is that when I examined the car in detail at home when I washed it I noticed that the rear NS passenger door had been at sometime in the past been repaired and repainted. The quality of the workmanship was not good. I also found over spray on the plastic guard on the front OS inner wheel arch so obviously this had also been repaired. I raised this with Gary Maughan and asked if SG Petch would compensate for these matters with no satisfaction. I would expect a much better degree of customer care / satisfaction from aHyundai main dealer. This is the reason I bought from a main dealer

Overall, from start to finish the service was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If I had to pick a fault it would be the 'waiting' period. You were not kept informed how things were going (was everything on time, running late etc.) and no confirmation was ever received when you emailed information, so there was no way to know that you, the dealer, had received it either (i.e. we sent the Nissan family code to yourselves and when we went to finalise the details you couldn't find it, luckily it was still on my phone). But apart from that it wouldn't put me off buying a car from yourselves again.

Both sales and service staff were outstanding. Helpful but not pushy. Of particular mention should be Les Rudd an obliging and very knowledgable gentleman. A consummate professional.

Friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff. Purchase of new vehicle went without a hitch. This is the second new car I have bought from SG Petch, satisfied with service on both occasions.

Chris has been a brilliant car sales man and has gone above and beyond to make our car perfect for us. However, staff members such as the valet staff and mechanics are very lazy! We still have not had our car Valeted to a brand new car standard. We arrived at 9:00am this morning for an mot, car scratch repair and a clean and came to collect at 1:00pm. The car has been slightly hoovered but when I lifted the mats up it had not been hoovered underneath; it has been slightly cleaned. Our car is still covered in dog hairs and this is very dis-heartening. Chris our car sales man has been very patient with our complaints and is currently going above and beyond to rectify this. Chris has even come in work on his day off to hand over our new car for us and we were extremely grateful. The service from Chris has been amazing it's just a shame lazy staff such as the valet staff have hindered our experience.

The reason we keep buying our cars from Steve Petch is because we always receive excellent deals and good service. The staff always go out of their way to be helpful and friendly.

Brilliant! Everyone was very kind and patient, particularly the gentleman who took us for a test drive and had to explain to me where the clutch was when my brain clouded over!!!!!! Would be very happy to recommend you to others

I bought my first car from SG Petch and was anxious about the whole process. Gary was incredibly helpful and kind. He made everything understandable and as simple as possible for me.
