“The overall opinion would be good, but when it came to the day of purchase everything went wrong. The dealer did not polish the scratches that we have reported and left the car with flat battery! I cannot imagine how they did that and not even checked the battery before we arrived! Instead of offering us original car mats for an extra charge they simply gave us the car with none. So basically - they are nice when you are about to buy. They can say you a lot of good words and offer their help. But, when it comes to the end they simply do a minimal effort.”

“Not having had a KIA before, it was refreshing to speak to your sales staff about the differing vehicles in the range. Whilst we would have liked at Kia Seed, but it would probably not fit the garage, but the Kia Rio is perfect for what we need. The accessories fit as standard are excellent, though it would have good to have folding door mirrors. Excellent Car at an excellent price. Well done SG Petch”

“Overall the buying experience and staff are professional in there explanation of the buying options and finance arrangements on offer. The little dissatisfaction I have, is the communication that is relayed when there are problem`s. Be honest from the go, don't hide the facts, I as a customer prefer to know there is a concern and not be told a blatant lie.”

“I purchased a new car for my daughter, after seeing it advertised on the Autotader site. After making the enquiry, I received a call within 30 minutes from Fiat, Petch. I agreed to purchase the car within 10 minutes, & the car was then delivered to me in Scotland 4 days later. I presented it to my daughter who was delighted. All in all I was delighted with the service from the sales dept, Mr Nick Rickwood, & the courtious handover by the delivery driver. Thankyou, John Mitchell.”

“Staff are wonderful and work to get you what you want. I actually enjoyed buying a car from them as they were not pushy and made me aware of all the extras with time to think about them for myself, which I really liked. My car is great and I am really happy I went with this dealership.”

“I visited the SG Petch Darlington branch in June '16 to purchase a car for my Daughter who had just passed her test. I chose this branch as my wife and I had purchased two cars in 2012 and two in 2015. On each occasion I found the sales team to be down to earth, friendly, professional and straight forward, thankfully lacking that smarmy self opinionated approach of most other dealerships and importantly, not trying to hide things in the figures. I have also found the after sales service to be excellent and return to this dealership despite closer alternatives. This purchase was to be a surprise 18th birthday gift and again we received the usual excellent customer service on arrival and straight forward deal. Our sales person was Dani Kerr (Kia) who truly excelled. Everything was done to maintain the surprise and the false pretence to get my Daughter there. We arrived to find the vehicle in the showroom, with balloons and a banner on it. The impact of this and fact that her first car was a huge deal was clearly understood and anticipated by Dani. It was clearly evident that Dani had taken great personal and professional pride in preparing the vehicle and was superb with our Daughter. I was beyond impressed. I would highly recommend this dealership.”
