“I have always been dubious about dealers following a bad experience with buying my first new car 40 yrs ago. Took delivery of a 2014 Rio from Darlington on Friday. Took it back on Saturday with 2 faults. Andrew Mellanby took immediate ownership of the problem, gave me a new courtesy car, and had the problems fixed in a few days. First class service which I didn't expect for a mid priced second hand car. Andrew and SGP have restored my faith in dealers. Very nice car BTW.”

“Raised a query with Kia Uk with regards to the purchase of my new kia xceed.They responded quickly and forwarded my query to the appropriate department at SG Petch Sunderland.That was on 30th July.Six days later i am still waiting for a response.Not too impressed thus far. Update. It appears that Kia UK had not passed on my query to S.G. Petch due to some glitch in the system.S.G. Petch((Sunderland)have since been in touch with me and have resolved my query promptly and professionally.Now i can give them a 5 star review as I had originally planned.”

“When we decided to change our car we spoke to quite a few dealers, but once we had spoken to Jeff a salesman at S.G. Petch of Sunderland we knew this was the place we wanted to purchase our new car. From the first moment to the day we picked our new Maxda 6 Tourer 2.5 GT Sport up we have nothing but fabulous service & lovely dealership to deal with, from the Manager of the branch Sam, Jeff the salesman nothing was to much trouble. The whole team are a credit to their profession, when we change our car again the only place we'll be going to is S.G. Petch of Sunderland. Thank you to everyone involved, we've tried the rest now we've found the best.”

“Car developped a fault. Would not exced 2500 revs. (Due to intervention of recovery man Fault code cleared). On dropping vehicle I passed on fauilt code. I collected it the next day .... Alkl fixed on Warranty. Road tested and now in order. As soon as I entered the A64 I accelorated hard. Still would not eeceed 2500 revs. Took it to a Kia Dealer nearer my home town. Fixed by replacing Turbo Actuator under warranty. So the repairswere 'Warranty' so did not cost but your service was poor and you misled me at the time of collection. Thankfully thereare soime reliable dealers out there.”
