“Got my first jacket from you. Comfy. Stylish. Easy zippers. Mostly warm but I expected it to be a little more so as the sales person said I would be comfortable down to single digit temps and not so much.”

“I work in Dundee in a building called Terra Nova. We are surrounded by the history of Shackleton, Scott and other courageous Antarctic explorers. I was delighted to see a UK company bringing the spirit of those explorers to live in high quality adventure clothing. I bought your lighter weight down jacket (Halley) during your January sale. I have another 800 fill down fill jacket and felt that would be sufficient for the worst the North Sea winds had to offer. Unfortunately it isn't, I should have gone with the Ronne. By the time I realised, your sale was over. I still enjoy my Halley however it doesn't appear to hold the warmth of my 800 fill Rab that I hoped it would replace.”

“My new favourite coat ! Looks great and is very warm but lightweight. The only negative thing about the jacket is the plastic zip it looks and feels cheap for a coat of this price point.”

“I purchased my first Shackleton product after visiting the store in London. I am experienced in the outdoor clothing world, and purchase outdoor clothing for another nations military. I found my product was nice, but slightly overpriced to compete with other brands. I will consider Shackleton in the future and would buy more if the prices come down a bit more. The London store staff were extremely friendly and spoke well of the owner.”

“The gillet is really nicely made, as you’d expect at this price point. It’s warm enough, but not warm?!?! There are a few bits I’d tweak… Shackleton should have more confidence in the branding and not feel the need to emblazon the piece with the name/stories. The hemming and the ‘story’ labels are a bit much. It’s already a nice garment, it doesn’t need the extra waffle…”

“I had the Haakon Parka. I very much appreciate the firm fabric and the down filling. I little bit annyoing is the fact that the hook and loop fastener is so adhesive that it immediately sticks to other garments like a pullover when you put the parka on.”

“I bought the Rothera in Navy. LOVE it. Comfy and warm. Maybe a tad stiff in comparison to my Canada Goose but at half the price more than worth it. I recommend it highly”

“The jacket I bought is a very good but has a very small issue that needs to be fixed like the size of the arm is over size a bit and the finishing of the jacket needs to be looked at because there is some threads I had to cut.”
