“The brackets were missing from the package when the handrail was delivered. However the customer services chap was very helpful and sorted out a refund as our joiner who came to fit it brought some instead so that he could get on with the job”

“Bought a stair handrail, which is good quality but delivery took over two weeks. I had to keep contacting the company as correspondence very poor, no tracking sent, had to request this..”

“Quality of the handrail and components is very good. Installation is straightforward although it's a two man job to do it properly. The only fault I can find in the process is that of communication - the tracking via SimpleHandrails was non existent, and I had to wait until it was picked up by the courier before I new the order status. Overall the appearance is very good and I'm very happy.”

“We purchased a stainless steel handrail from Simple handrails and we are very please with the items delivered, The package included all fittings and the product is of exceptional standard. We installed it which was very simple with a few basic tools infact it took just an hour. “We received good advice during on line interaction and bought 2 oak handrails. They duly arrived and we are very pleased with the quality. The pieces were cut to the required length as specified. To make the service even better, I would have liked a template in order to fit the end pieces dead centre on the handrail. It is very difficult to get this 100% correct manually. Alternatively, the holes at each end could be pre-drilled of course. All in all, a good experience.”

“Clear website to order. Delighted with product as excellent quality. Very well packed for despatch. Product shrink wrapped so easy to install without fear of scratching or damage. Now fitted it looks great. Not the quickest delivery but well worth waiting for. The website has a chat facility to check on order progress and delivery. It arrived on the promised day.”

“Took 2 weeks from order to delivery but really pleased with my handrail, very good quality and good quality fixings supplied, no instructions were included within package but as long as your not a complete diy novice it's not too difficult to fit. My 3.5 metre rail came in 2 parts and when slotted together the fit was really loose, it was difficult to make the two pieces fit together seemlessly as 1 rail, but it looks ok now it's secure to wall. Overall it's worth paying a little extra more than the local diy stores for their cheaper versions.”

“I have had an oak and stainless steel rail which is of excellent quality. The full range available is not disclosed on the website (e.g. Adjustable elbow) but there was excellent support via the chat facility. Delivery was slower than hoped for because of waiting for stock to arrive, but the service was superb. The finished product looks superb now it is installed.”
