“I asked a lot of questions and they were all answered satisfactorily. And the item was shipped very quickly. It's only a day after I made my purchase, so the five star review is up to the point where I got my very timely shipping notice. Thank you! This review does not cover the item (which I don't have yet), nor the speed of delivery. “Honestly its a little grainy. At some point someone said it was a gen 3 but looking through my actual gen 3 night scope this is not gen 3 but if there is moonlight it works well. If you make another recorder with better lighting and clearer resolution I would buy it in a heartbeat. I know you get what you pay for but I would pay for this. Thank you for the opportunity to express my experience with your product.”

“The SiOnyx Aurora green model is amazing to be mounting behind a red dot or a 3X9 scope with some distance between the camera and the scope. It picks up plenty of moon light and with the IR illumination it’s truly an asset to my hunting bag.”

“I'm very impressed with the units performance. Such an affordable sale price too. The unit is easy to drop, especially in a boat over the side. I think every unit should come with a neck lanyard. They are cheap, less than $2.00 if you buy bulk. Great insurance and good public relations.”

“I got sionyx Aurora black and it performs well. I hear people on the internet say it lags too bad but that is not my experience. I mainly got it for seeing in the dark and I'm not disappointed.”

“I am impressed with my Sionyx Aurora Pro Explorer. It truly can see further into the darkness spectrum, and does perform best in the darkest conditions. I highly recommend the Sionyx Pro, you won't be disappointed. From the case to the camera itself; this is great camera equipment. This is my second Aurora camera. I got my first one (the green one) through their Kickstarter campaign, so I've been a long time Sionyx customer. They're great products!”

“Amazing night vision! No wonder they got funded as a startup in four hours! I have the Pro version. The better optics and sensor are well worth it. I spent 11yrs in the U.S. Army from ‘81-‘92 in Military Intelligence and I’m also a combat veteran. This is even beyond what we had when I was in the military. I also bought the Picatinny Rail mount to use with a weapon optic. Amazing combo! The only negative I might have to say would be that, except for the Picatinny Rail mount, they don’t yet produce their own accessories. They link some third party accessories on their site, which is convenient, but some are not very good. The extra batteries and charger combo they list however, are great. I like that they’ve used a common camera battery. Overall, hands down the best in night vision, period.”

“Very good customer service. They reached back to me to give me the holiday discount on the IR illuminator that was included with my order. Thank you! Setup was pretty easy and straightforward. Good quality and picture. Just waiting for the illuminator to try in total darkness. Hint hint, could you guys make a proprietary j arm with the correct angle for left eye wear? :-)”
