This happened a while back but I realized recently, that I should share. I received a plate full of pubic hairs, from a pizza place likely as retaliation for the 4 star rating I gave them. I informed Skip The dish and they sent me a long sarcastic message telling me they were unable to meet my, world class standards and ending our relationship. Since, then when I would try to order, my order looked like it went through but I waited hours and it never arrived. I would contact Skip The Dish, the reps would mock me, saying things like, lol and? okay.. so what. etc. then ignore me. Later I would get a refund, so I was essentially banned for receiving a plat filled with pubic hairs, and even provided a picture.

An app for lazy people enabling them to pay a premium for cold food. This app and others like it are stupid and bad for businesses.

I ordered this evening and the driver dropped my order off at someone else’s house. I got notification that it had been delivered and went to my door and no order. The drivers name was “Subject”. I went to contact Skip and you no longer get to commicate with a customer service rep. You let them know what is missing and they will let you know in 24 if you get a refund. Without ever talking to me and 8 minutes after I let them know I didn’t receive order I got an email that says they will not be refunding me. This is the worst service and now as a driver why would I ever take the order to the right place as long as an order is delivered you will be charged and Skip no longer has to refund you. Check out their terms of service. Delete App. Use anyone else Skip no longer cares.

Did not get my food delivered and Skip refused a refund, even though my security cameras did not detect any motion at the time of “delivery.” No one came into my property to deliver the food. Skip staff are rude and unprofessional. They hung up 3 times and on 4th time they refused to refund any money, because the driver claimed it was delivered on the app.

Highly unprofessional, I would recommend never to use this app. They will be short of delivery drivers on the weekends or holidays. Never get my order right. Also, once in a while the driver might complaint that I got a flat tire or something right when you are waiting for an order. They will refund you but it will be very frustrating to wait for 2 hours hungry and just so you can re-order the food again from some other app. My advice NEVER ORDER FROM THEM EVER. I would give 0 STARTS if this site had the option.

I have never used this service. I do not have an account. Yet, mysteriously, funds were removed from my account. I called them immediately. Not surprisingly, the customer service individual i spoke with did answer nothing to assist me. Speaking with the fraud department at my bank, I learned that this particular business is the most reported for fraudulent claims. As in daily. Shame on this company for having lax safety protocols for their customers. I have warned all my friends, family and co-workers. They have all discontinued and deleted their apps. Everyone, please be careful.

If i could...i would give -100. I had a delivery driver call my phone when it wasn't my order...my son ordered. His profile his number. They text him from skip app and then phones my personal number from his own personal cell. When i ask how he got my number he hangs up. I called skip right away and told them i was scared that rhe driver and his 3 male buddies thst were in his car  now have my number and address. They explained that if that was the "real" case he could he fired. They said they would find out how he got it and get back to me...for my safety. I call every day for update and nothing... They just keep hanging up on me. 6 days since this happened...shame on skip.

On multiple occasions drivers have delivered to the wrong address or just drove away with my food it seems. Skip has been hiring truly incompetent drivers who are incapable of reading basic instructions. I live in a house, how hard is that to mess up. I guess for them pretty easy as they lack zero work ethic and ability to read. All in all, skip has gone terribly down hill and the drivers are going to be the bain of skip.

The worst delivery app existing in Toronto. Their customer service is terrible and rude! They do not verify with the restaurant before they refund the whole amount to the guest for a small item. If Skip wants to make a better guest experience then do it from your pocket not from the restaurants pocket when we are already struggling enough! Uber does a better professional job. If I could give 0 stars then I would have chosen that.

Driver was going the wrong direction. I could see it on the map. I called the restaurant right away and they informed Skip. It took the driver 25 minutes instead of 5 minutes to get to my house. I called the restaurant after 20 minutes and told them I will not accept the delivery. The food had been sitting in the car for 25 minutes and it was +35 degrees outside. I spoke to Skip but never got my money back. They have terrible drivers.

Got 3 in a row orders sent to wrong address and wrong location saying driver tried to contact me when i was out front waiting for it with friends , totally ruined our night . Going with door dash , better delivery and choice anyway.

Horrible service. I have never dealt with more rude people than those that work at skip the dishes. My order was all wrong and when I called to get a refund, they said they can only give me a partial refund. This makes no sense considering I paid in full. They won’t give you an answer and when you start pushing for it, they hang up on you and disregard you like a piece of trash. I am so disappointed and disgusted by their behaviour and won’t tolerate it. I have posted photos of my chat with them for others to see how incredibly rude their service is. Still haven’t received my refund.

Many orders that were way longer than they needed to be. The tracking option shows drivers do not move, as they are waiting to capitalize on multiple orders from the same area. Then you suddenly get a text that says 'We are very busy' when again, the driver is not even moving. The pre-tip option is unfair. Please hire drivers that will do their job!

Please get your courtiers to verify the person whom they give the order to is the same person who placed the order. What’s the point of getting food dropped off to a picnic and they just give it to the first person they see.

SkipTheDishes is full of joke, they stole my money and didn’t give an option of delivery. If you have other options use other rather then SkipTheDishes, don’t expect any service from them. They are simply their for nothing and forget about the customer service. I need to pay cause of their technical error! Pathetic customer service, pathetic app! Never use SkipTheDishes except if you want to lost your hard earned money!

I live in an apartment. Instructions clearly say how to buzz in and then to leave food at the apartment door. Tracker says the food was delivered, but no food. Even checked the front lobby because their lazy drivers have left it there before. I get on the chat with them and tell them that I didn't receive my order. The only thing they offered was a refund. He said the driver confirmed the delivery so that's all he could offer. I told him "With all due respect, your driver is lying to you. Couldn't have got in without buzzing, didn't knock on the apartment door, and there was no food." He says he'll submit my complaint about the driver (not likely). At this point I was done with these guys, so I just asked for the refund. He tells me the refund has been processed. I asked if it was sent back to my original card and he says no. Because the driver confirmed the delivery (which they have no way of knowing if he's telling the truth) they can only provide the refund in credits. What a broken system. You take my money for a service. You don't provide that service. You won't give my money back (except in credits for your services which I no longer want because of your broken system) based solely on the driver's word. Good riddance.

HORRIBLE. 4th time I have had the driver say they delivered my food when they had not. Refunds are all fine, but I was hungry ! Never again, never use skip, their drivers are garbage

Worst app for food delivery. Ordered $35+ food, never delivered. Drivers are completely ignoring instructions. When asked for a refund, customer service never reply back promptly and then say they can't refund because a specific time period has been passed. Just choose any other food delivery app but this!
