Skip the dishes is absolutely garbage!!! They don't give a S*** about anything other then money I just had my order delivered to wrong place they tell me to check the address I told them the address I ordered it too and they saying now that I can only have 50% of my money back the order was $23.00 and they gave me $8.30 how is that 50% I'm deleting this app of crooks!!

I am the owner of restaurant. I got order from SkipTheDishes and prepared all items properly , sent them out with driver. The customer reported as incorrect items they got and Skip put all charge to us. I prepared all food and also pay for those food what I prepared because of the customer said it was incorrect. I contacted several times to Skip and explain everything with some photos but they kept saying needed actual image of food. I was trying to get video footage from our surveillance camera (we installed it for this issue it happened before) I but it saved only 7 days. For now I need to pay for those items I prepared for those customers. What a ridiculous situations .

Order was picked up. Drove around with driver till food was cold and gross. They dont care they already got the cash. Deleted this bs app. Never again.

Appalling customer service!! They sent an e-mail offering a free dessert at a restaurant I frequently patronize. There was no information about how to redeem it. When I queried this, I was told I had to send a screenshot of the e-mail. I don't have a cellphone and don't know how to do that. Refused to do anything without the screenshot. So for a $10 dessert they have lost a good customer.

Will NEVER order from Skip again. Ordered a 6 pack of Budweiser a few nights ago and had 1 of them. Tonight went to have another and it was OPENED AND HALF DRANK! Checked the other 4 and another had been opened and half drank. When it was delivered it was in a white cardboard carry box, not the usual Budweiser sealed box but I didn’t think much of it. Skip blamed me for not checking all 6 when they were delivered and said they could do nothing about it. Not even speak to their courier or supplier because they denied everything. So disgusted.

Horrible customer service, the currier did not bring the whole service. They deleted the order and they didn't return the money. Customer service closed my chat with them saying this conversation is going nowhere. So, they stole my money. I will never use this app again. Trash app and trash company and trash service

Luckily for Skip The Dishes I can’t leave less than one start review. This company is THE worst food delivery service in Calgary. I had a large order that I paid for and they did not deliver but cancelled the order. The end result was I am out over $200 that they will not refund for 10 days or more and left my family Hungary as I cannot afford to reorder $200 worth of food multiple times in one night. They are a disgrace and I plead you do not ever use this company in the future!!!

WISH i could give less than 1 star. Skip accepts no resposibily for their errors, Sends wring food and still expects you to pau another tip, Waited over 2 hiurs to get my food which was a $72 oirder plaus another $10 tip for the next driver.

Two orders were not delivered and they gave me credit for PART of the order and ZERO for the second order. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Actually didn't receive my order! Senior...took my $ and said courier had delivered and saw ID! So where is my order.. did the courier steal my order and ID from a previous order? Or was it an honest mistake?

If I could leave a 0 I would. First time I tried to get a refund from Skip. I had received my food and it was cold and had sat for over 2 hours before "a courier" picked it up. When I went into the App to try and get a refund in the APP it said "unable to complete request as it has been done already" or something close to that. So of course I thought that meant someone at Skip had realized and started the refund. $ days later when I went in to check there had not been a refund request (according to the Skip App) and when I tried to explain I was out of the 48 hour period due to their APP I was ignored. So I stopped using them for a while. Then forgot how bad they were and recently I ordered from White Spot, not only did the food come cold but I was missing items. Again I was denied by Skip even though I did not receive items. I am not going to use them again unless it's an emergency because I am unsure of what qualifies you to get a refund at this point. Missing items that I paid for... Skip too bad we just want your money and no accountability. Everyone should boycott this App and start to get their friends or anyone else to deliver as the response and customer service would be better anywhere else!

On 12 January I ordered food from Baigs Grill Mississauga order # 592411546. The payment was done but food was not delivered and both Skip the dishes and Baigs Grill have not responded or refunded my money. I feel they are Cheating the public.

Order took over an hour because delivery driver kept taking new orders and driving all over my town. They were only a couple blocks from my house, (with my food) then proceeded to drive to the other side of town to make another delivery. Food was cold and when I contacted support (after waiting in a long queue) they finally responded then left the chat without helping at all. Now at the back of the queue again I had to wait until finally speaking with another support staff. They offered half a refund, after refusing their half refund. Another 30 min later I finally got my money back, save yourself the hassle. Door dash has some problems too sometimes but their support is much better at least. I think I’m done with these food delivery apps but if I was to use one again skip the dishes would not be an option, absolutely terrible. Very unsatisfied customer

I would give their online chat staff a 0. Took over almost an hour on their online chat for something that shouldn’t have taken more than 5 minutes. Slow response every time I wrote something. Very frustrating!!

Actually don't even want to leave a 1. We are seniors living in a basement suite accessible through the back yard. Do Not use Skip the Dishes. We have now had 4 unsuccessful attempts at ordering and getting proper delivery even though I put specific instructions for delivery. Tonight I ordered, one last chance! The driver called when she got here, giving her directions, my daughter arrived home and specifically told her where to go for delivery. No food! I went in search, circling our house 2wce. She had set the food down by the wrong gate, taken a picture to say delivered, then picked the food back up and drove away. It took me 1 1/2 hrs to get through for a refund ( for the 4th time). I then had to go out and get the food myself. I will NEVER use that service again. May be OK for you if you live on the main floor of a house but not if you need specific instructions.

Placed the order to McDonald's 3 places from my house. Estimated time is 55 min. McDonald's started making my order immediately. And I just noticed there's no driver matched yet and it's supposed to be here in 20 min. So what now? Best case scenario is I'm getting hour old McDonald's for premium price. If that's the case, I want refund to my bank not skip credits. Kind of shady to take someone's money knowing the service can not and will not be provided.
