“i am not happy with the last transaction i had with skipthedishes.com. i bought a gift card in a city that had listed many restaurants that were participating in the program, but it turned out that only mcdonalds was onboard. so what did the company do for me? absolutely nothing! $100 in reserve for who knows how long. i tried to use gift code in another city, as suggested by company, but it was not accepted! am i happy? not a chance!”

“Customer service is rude. Ordered from them and the food arrived cold, stale, and not edible. I contacted customer service and they didn’t care. I spent $25 and they offered $8 in credits. I had to throw the food away. Not worth it. Use a different delivery service.”

“They scam people out of their money and tell them they’ve been flagged and will no longer get service meanwhile they are the scammers because they waited until my order was paid for and told me this none sense while refusing to give my money back. Never again will I or anyone I know order with these scammers. Go with Uber eats people.”

“Skip the Dishes gave my wife credits because we ordered from a restaurant that was closed. Today, she went to use them. Skip, instead banned her for trying to use the credits. Unreal!”

“This app LOVES to change your address once you have entered it. Then once they have delivered it to the wrong address (the address they changed it to doesn't exist I went and looked) they will try and put the blame on you and accept ZERO responsibility! Still have no food or a refund either!! Don't waste your time with this app....just use Doordash or anything else!”

“The worst experienc ever! Literally every single time I order from them it is a disaster! Who waits an hour and 20 minutes for food and gets a reply from customer service stating that they will look into the situation once the order is delivered? I mean what the hell on earth?! This is simply unacceptable. I gave enough chances to skip and this is it. Learn to work well and provide service man.”

“I ordered from Skip the Dishes for the first time. We placed an order for Pick-Up, but the app made it a Delivery. I did not add my address while ordering because we were ordering pick-up and there was no way for me to correct this error. The incorrect address was in there. Eventually I spoke to someone from Skip the Dishes, gave them the correct address. The food was not delivered. No one notified us that the order had arrived. We waited for over an hour. I requested a full refund and they denied it. No support was offered.”

“Update: Skip refunded the full amount on my credit card without contacting me which is why I bumped up my review from 1* to 3* Original: Terrible service. Order was sent to restaurant 30 minutes after the order was placed. No driver was ever assigned to the order, the restaurants manager had to deliver the order himself. Skip only offered to refund the tip I had prepaid. Incredible.”

“I would give then zero is possible. No sense of customer service. Multiple occasion, got notifications that food has been delivered but was not. When called, they will do a huge favour by giving refund of food which I never received. No empathy. Last time I asked to talk to manager and I am still waiting. Today was the last nail in cofin and I deleted this app. I would rather go out and take my food.”

“Firstly, the food was delivered a full 40 minutes past the pre-order window. It was a birthday meal surprise and the whole event was ruined, as when the food arrived so late. By the time it arrived the person was not there to collect the order. Secondly, the delivery driver didn't follow the delivery instructions and caused a lot of confusion.”

“Awful! Would never recommend! The site is hard to navigate will not accept cash on delivery. Addresses are hard to find or populate, easier to call a restaurant and have delivery. To bad businesses are missing out on business because of a shotty site and bad customer service. Good Luck! Businesses do NOT sign up for this shitty service you are loosing business..”

“I recently drove halfway across Canada... and back. Total of 8,000 km. In order to minimize risks in this day of COVID19, we ordered food in to the hotel every night rather than eat in a resto. We used Skip the Dishes in Winnipeg twice, Regina, Saskatoon, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie. Then again a few times when we got home to Ottawa. Excellent APP. Easy to download, install and use within minutes. 100% accuracy of order. Great GPS tracing of where the driver is. Food was delivered on time, or early, every single time. The user interface presents all the resto menus in the same format so it is easy to read, understand, select, and order. I just tried using DOOR DASH and had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with it... so bad that I just gave up on ordering and I am about to delete it from my phone.”

“Tried to order yesterday but kept saying check your info as not able to process payment. So I checked our info everything was ok. Then I went to chat with someone to see if maybe skip was having some issues, she was helpful and said try again in 15 mins and it should work. Well I did and still didn't work. So was not ordering after all that. Then thought would try again the next day. Got my order all ready and got to payment then was told the restaurant was closed. They need to fix the bugs they are having. I know that they are probable really busy since covid but then they should update there list of restaurants if the restaurant isn't taking orders cause the restaurant was open. Im leaning away from skip now.”

“Honestly the worst service ever for food delivery. Happened twice delivery driver didn't deliver the foods but it was showing delivered on the Skip App. I have a Ring doorbell that records if there is anyone on the property no driver actually came. Skip customer service barely gives you the refund nobody cares about the time you waited for the order and it takes too much time to chat with Skip Agent. They don't even have phone number to talk to live agent, chat support team didn't give any number to call.”

“COMPANY CHEATS FRONTLINE HEALTHCARE WORKERS! Received a $25 gift card as a “Thank You” to frontline healthcare workers from SkipTheDishes at my hospital today. This was my first time using the service and had to create an account. Once created, I uploaded the gift card successfully and tried to use it. I could not use it after several attempts. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed my account is locked due to fraud. I explained the account was literally created an hour ago. The agent -Mandy at the Winnipeg office- said she could not discuss the matter any further and my $25 gift card was forfeited. She hung up mid sentence as I was trying for further clarification! Customer service - nonexistent! The gift card is specifically for frontline healthcare workers and even has an image of doctors and nurses with a big “Thank You” on it from SkipTheDishes! Maybe it was suppose to read “No Thank You” to the frontline healthcare workers! LOL!”
