“The tour to Egypt was great. I felt very safe and the tour director was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour. I would suggest that Smart Tours add to their literature that Egypt has a prefence for American currency though.”

“Our guide, Sinh, made this trip wonderful. Very busy days in Cambodia and was hot! Really appreciated being able to use lounge at airport for our long layover. Going with you to Croatia in May!”

“Smartours is such a great and rewarding experience. I am so glad I found this travel website. My trips have been wonderful to say the least. They are very well organized, tour information is self-explanatory and the employees are great. I will only travel with Smartours. I have recommended them to all of my friends and they love it as much as I do. Excellent service.”

“I have taken at least 21 SmarTours trips in the past 20 years and have enjoyed every one of them. No tour company is perfect and SmarTours is no exception. They usually provide lovely accommodations and better than average tour guides. As a repeat customer I usually know what to expect. With that said, there is room for improvement. Flight times and layovers need to be listed. Ungodly flight times need to be posted and any changes in itinerary need to be expressed during the trip. Seats on the airlines should be assigned when invoice is paid in full. More free time in third world countries would be appreciated. All in all, this is a reliable and very good touring company!”

“Incredible Patagonia lived up to its name in every sense! This region is one of world's most beautiful and well worth the time and expense to get there and enjoy all it has to offer. Smartours outdid itself again...from the Santiago, Chile layover to grand finale in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as the hotels were all excellent, the itinerary providing ample opportunity to explore each city fully and the tour guides amazing! Kudos go out to Patricia (Chilean Patagonia) Mariano (Argentine Patagonia) and the absolutely accommodating and gracious Maria ( Buenos Aires) without whose help none of us would've been able to return in a timely fashion as Latam Airlines totally dropped the ball for our return trip to Miami and American Airlines had to step in...all thanks to Maria! I think Smartours came up with a winner of a tour which I highly recommend...I lucked out in that my fellow travelers a great group of folks from all over the US and Canada. Looking forward to traveling again with Smartours...it says a lot that there are always repeat travelers on these tours.”

“. You should probably warn seniors that it is very vigorous. If I hadn't been in good physical shape and had a walking stick, I couldn't have made it at 83 1/2! My travel companions gave me a cheer when I returned to bus. The day that began at 12:30 am with flight to Aswan was not easy.”

“Excellent organization of tours, travel, hotels, etc. Some days were a bit too full, and there were extremely early mornings (4:30 am). Flights home could have been better. Instead of taking 2 days to get from Galapagos to Miami, it could have been one day. Overall, very positive experience. Will likely book with Smartours again, but will request a more detailed itinerary before locking it in.”

“We loved that we got to see so much on our Egypt tour, but did not love wake up calls on 2 days at ungodly hours...just after midnight on one night and 3am on another. Our suggestion is to add 2 more days onto the trip (understandably the cost would be higher).”

“Massomo, our tour guide was great. The local guides were so clever and fun, they made each city alive from their eyes. The time of year, End of September to first week October was so fantastic, there were some crowds, but not too much. Really had a great time.”

“Usually my Smartours experiences are a five. The tour to Egypt was a great experience. We had the best tour director Soha and assistant Mohamed. However, the tour organization was done wrong. Almost every morning we had to be up by either one o’clock am or three o’clock am to either go through a flight or a sight seeing. Soha did a marvelous job to accommodate all 40 people. But waking up every morning that early and going through a very heavy loaded day was very tiring. The hotels were great and the boat was great. I believe the tour has to be rearranged and maybe add one more day to the tour to make it less exhausting for the travelers. Needed at least one more day in Cairo at the end. Soha took us to the Cairo museum and she has a vast knowledge of history. She explained every article and statue and item so well. However, we were so tired from the early morning wake up. Afterwards went to Bazar and spend only one hour in the restaurant. No time for looking around and shopping. As I said, the whole trip has to be rearranged and rescheduled. I would rate it a three and a half because it was so exhausting.”

“Excellent tour guide (Mohammed). Group (37) a bit on the large size but generally manageable. Good blend of activities. First experience with SmarTours. Overall positive. Disappointed about flight seat assignments. Thought we would be @ least seated together (even if in middle seats). With some difficulty, was able to call Emarites (in advance) to get joint seat assignments and provide TSA Pre-check and other related info.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our Trip celandine adventure, something for everyone. I was pleased that smarTours took into consideration our safety and cancelled some activities because of the wind. Helga is a star and an asset to the company. She is knowledgeable, kind, also had our safety in mind, and a major source of knowledge in the history, geology, customs, and entertainment on the island. We could not have had a more competent guide. Our bus driver also could not have been mor competent and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends.”
